Shakur Stevenson warns Gervonta Davis before the clash of Lamont Roach
Published

Shakur Stevenson believes that the clash of Gervonta Davis from Lamont Roach is not an exaggerated conclusion.
Davis defends his airy title of the WBA world against Roach in the Barclays Center in Brooklyn on March 1, live on Amazon Prime Pay-view.
“Tank”, which is invincible in 30 professional duels, is a gigantic favorite with bookmakers to keep the belt against “Reaper”which moves from 130 pounds, where he holds the WBA crown.
However, Stevenson insists that Roach, who lost once in his professional career from Jamel Herring and won six at the reflection, from that time will be a much better fight than many expect.
“I don’t think it will be an effortless night for a tank,” said Stevenson Notjustboxing.

“Lamont will be ready to fight.
“I want to win. He does not come for the location.
“I see that this is a very arduous night for the tank.

“I have known Lamont for a long time.
“He has been in this game for a long time and is waiting for this opportunity.
“A long time ago I paired him and he gave me a really good job.
“After I helped him to assist me fight Oscar Valdez, he in a sense helped me at the end of my camp.
“He is a good warrior.”

The 27-year-old is looking for a clash with Davis himself, but for the first time he defends his airy Crown WBC before Floyd Schofield in Riyjad on Saturday at Undercard of the Rematch between Artur Beterbiev AND Dmitriry Bivol.
30-year-old Davis said that at the end of the year he would retire from boxing, but Stevenson is convinced that the long-awaited clash of union between the couple will take place.

“It will happen,” added Newark Man.
“Tank said I was on his list.
“I hope that he stands on his words and will make the fight happen.”

Eddie Hearn believes Tyson Fury lacks confidence ahead of his clash with Anthony Joshua later this year.
Joshua and Fury have signed a deal to face each other in the highly anticipated all-British blockbuster, which is expected to be staged in November.
“AJ” will be there will face the unknown Albanian Kristian Prenga during warm-ups in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on July 25.
Fury, who retired to beat Arslanbek Makhmudov on points in April, is also keen to fight again before facing his long-time rival, with an August 1 date being discussed.
Joshua’s promoter Hearn questions the Morecambe fighter’s decision to fight another fight in the meantime, believing it could signal a lack of faith.
“He’s going to do what he’s going to do,” the 46-year-old said Sky Sports Boxing.
“And if he feels like he needs a good fight, I like that because it tells me he’s not completely confident.
“He shot 12 good rounds with Makhmudov to the point where you really need more rounds?
“He told us, ‘You don’t need another fight.’
“In two years of boxing, we had four rounds with Jake Paul.
“You had 12 rounds with Makhmudov at Tottenham but you still feel you need more rounds to prepare for Anthony Joshua.
“More rounds won’t assist you, because I can see it.
“When Makhmudov came into that fight, I knew what AJ was going to do.”

“AJ” came face to face with Prenga at their stadium first press conference on Monday in London.
The 36-year-old will fight for the first time since he knocked out Jake Paul in the sixth round in December in Miami.

10 days after Paul was arrested, the Watford man suffered minor injuries in a fatal car crash that killed two of his close friends, Latif Ayodele and Sina Ghami, while on holiday in Nigeria.
Joshua has already returned to the training camp in Valencia along with former rival Oleksandr Usyk.

Rolando Romero was last seen in the ring defeating Ryan Garcia in the middle of Times Square in Novel York.
The Garcia vs. Romero fight was headlined by Ring Magazine card over 12 months ago.
Over the past year, “Rolly” has been involved in numerous public discussions about potential next fights, but so far, none of them have come to fruition.
He has also spoken out about retirement many times on social media.
Interview with the WBA welterweight world champion Professional boxing fans on behalf Betinia and talked about his time spent outside the ring.
“God doesn’t make mistakes, I shouldn’t fight.
“Mentally, emotionally and physically I just couldn’t fight.
“When I tried to force these fights, for some reason God just got in the way and I just couldn’t fight.
“If I had fought at any of those times I would have lost, I just know it.”
After a hard year, the champion believes he is now ready to return and defend his welterweight title for the first time.
After a career-best recent performance, Romero believes he can perform even better when he steps into the ring again.
“I’m ready to fight now, I’m the best version of myself I’ve ever seen.
“It’s amazing, I’m now the best version of myself in all aspects of my life.”
One fighter “Rolly” was linked to upon his return was the iconic Manny Pacquiao, who last saw action in July, defeating Mario Barrios in a majority draw.

“That was the end of him, they were begging me to fight, I wanted to fight Ryan.
“Me and Ryan had a rematch clause, we had the whole deal agreed and everything.
“Pacquiao kept asking for the fight and we negotiated for two months.
“He kept wanting more money even though he couldn’t sell what he asked for.
“The fight was blown and about a month and a half later the whole Floyd thing came out.

“They just wasted my time, took advantage of my clout.”
“Pac Man” is now set to return against Floyd Mayweather Jr in an iconic rematch of their historic first meeting in 2015, which the American won.
Romero’s return date and next opponent remain unknown, but some possible names include Jack Catterall, who became the mandatory number one contender for the WBA title after a dominant victory over Shakhram Giyasov.

Ryan Garcia may also be looking to make amends after their first fight, although he appears poised to defend his WBC title against Conor Benn after stating that the pair would fight on September 12 during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Over the past 12 months, Romero has repeatedly attacked WBO world champion Devin Haney, potentially setting the stage for a future unification fight.
