Harlem Eubank’s next fight will launch innovative tech that shows real time power and speed insights

DAZN’s upcoming Harlem Eubank vs David Papot event will introduce a range of up-to-date technologies aimed at enhancing the viewing experience both inside and outside London’s Copper Box Arena.

This combat sports-specific technology provides fans with real-time performance analysis measuring the power, speed, combinations and fatigue of both fighters when they start fighting on July 18.

Such data will be presented on Copper Box screens during the 12-round welterweight bout, while DAZN viewers will be able to enjoy the AI-personalized broadcast from the comfort of their homes.

Fans can also watch Matrix-style volumetric replays, which allow highlight shots to be viewed from any angle, providing a full 360-degree perspective of the action.

All of this is set to be brought to market by Gladius, whose creative digital gum shield technology aims to reveal the exact impact points and force of each impact.

Additionally, the company aims to further enhance the overall fan experience with an AI audio system designed to deliver crystal-clear sounds throughout the Copper Box Arena.

In a press release, Gladius CEO Oliver Hickey said the technology will radically change the way we consume combat sports.

“This is the beginning of a up-to-date era in combat sports. Gladius creates a single, trusted source of truth by intelligently combining video, volumetric capture, audio and wearable sensors.

“On July 18, fans will see the power, speed and power of every hit in real time with Matrix-style volumetric replays and insights that turn raw action into compelling understanding.

“We believe we are building the ultimate infrastructure for the future of sports.”

Regardless of the technology used, Eubank must continue to focus on Papota, who is out defeat on points to former world champion Liam Paro.

During the gala, which is a joint promotion of MF Pro and Neilson Boxing, Kieran Molloy and Sean Noakes will fight in another intriguing welterweight fight.

Tim Bradley Predicts High Rate of PPV Piracy for Rolly Romero vs Teofimo Lopez Fight

"Tim Bradley Predicts High Rate of PPV Piracy for Rolly Romero vs Teofimo Lopez Fight"

Tim Bradley plans to buy the Aug. 22 welterweight title fight between Rolly Romero and Teofimo Lopez, but he doesn’t believe the matchup offers enough value to justify a pay-per-view purchase. The former two-division world champion said he expects many boxing fans to pirate the event instead.

Bradley admitted he’ll still order the card but questioned whether it belongs behind a paywall.

“Look, I ain’t going to lie, I’m going to buy it. But yeah, a lot of people gonna pirate this mug for real because I personally don’t think it’s pay-per-view worthy,” said Bradley on his YouTube channel.

He also questioned how Teofimo landed another title opportunity after coming up short in his previous outing.

“Teo coming off a loss getting a title shot. Yeah, it’s boxing. It’s boxing,” Bradley said.

He also pointed to Rolly’s inactivity, noting that the WBA welterweight champion will be returning after roughly 15 months out of the ring.

“Rolly Romero haven’t fought since what? May 2025. We in 2026, ain’t we? Damn, that’s a long time. Whoa, man. Fifteen months before he get in the ring,” Bradley said.

Bradley said the lengthy layoff leaves uncertainty over which version of Rolly will appear on fight night. He wondered whether fans will see the patient, counterpunching style Romero used against Ryan Garcia or a more aggressive approach that looks to overwhelm opponents with power.

Bradley is saying what many fans have been posting on X since the fight was announced. A lot of them don’t believe it’s worth paying for. Some see it as a money fight between a champion who has been chasing the biggest payday of his career and a former champion coming off a one-sided loss.

Bradley’s comments echoed many of those same concerns. Fans can buy the pay-per-view or find another way to watch, but all eyes will be on Las Vegas on Aug. 22 to see if the fight proves the critics wrong.

Bravo (24-1, 17 KOs) has quietly worked his way into contention with a string of victories since suffering the lone defeat of his career. The 31-year-old Puerto Rican would receive the biggest opportunity of his professional career against the former world champion.

Cruz (28-3-1, 18 KOs) is looking to reestablish himself in the title picture after losing his WBA light welterweight title to Jose Valenzuela in August 2024. The popular Mexican rebounded by stopping Angel Fierro in their rematch earlier this year and remains one of boxing’s most aggressive pressure fighters.

A Mexico vs. Puerto Rico matchup has long been one of boxing’s most marketable rivalries, making the proposed fight an attractive addition to the September schedule if contracts are finalized.

Rodriguez also noted that Arizona and California remain the leading venue options. Reports circulating on social media have linked the date to other bouts, including a proposed IBF bantamweight title fight between Jose “Chapulín” Salas and Michael Angeletti, though those plans have not been officially confirmed either.

Pitbull Cruz will be defending his WBC interim light welterweight title, while Bravo has an opportunity to claim the biggest victory of his career.

Carl Froch Evaluates Conor Benns Odds Against Ryan Garcia Before Fight Announcement

Carl Froch Evaluates Conor Benn's Odds Against Ryan Garcia Before Fight Announcement

Carl Froch has assessed the chances of Conor Benn pulling off a sizable upset against Ryan Garciawho he is expected to face in September.

Their welterweight showdown was reportedly set to be announced on Friday, with Dana White inviting both fighters to the stage at a UFC weigh-in.

According to boxing journalist Dan Rafael, however, there are still some issues that must be ironed out on Garcia’s sidewhich concern the involvement of DAZN and Oscar De La Hoya’s Golden Boy.

Benn, meanwhile, has reportedly completed his side of the agreement to challenge for Garcia’s WBC world title in Las Vegas on September 12.

The 29-year-old signed with White’s Zuffa Boxing earlier this year, before unanimously outpointing a faded Regis Prograis over 10 rounds in April.

Yet it seems the promotional and broadcast situation for his clash with Garcia – expected to be streamed on Netflix – is far from straightforward, being that the WBC champion seemingly has an existing contract with Golden Boy and DAZN.

If it does go ahead, though, then Froch has suggested on his YouTube channel that Garcia would prove too skilled for his less proven opponent, giving Benn just a 30% chance of victory.

“This one is exciting, because you get to find out where Conor Benn belongs. Does he belong at world level?

“Ryan Garcia … Would you say he’s an elite-level champion? He’s been down, he’s been beat, [but] you’ve got to say he’s world-class.

“So this is a massive step-up for Conor Benn. I’m not sure it’s the fight he will win. He probably can win it, if he gets the tactics right, but it’s a really tough ask.

“He’s the underdog – he’s probably 70/30 against.”

Garcia claimed his WBC title by dethroning Mario Barrioswho he floored in the opening round before winning their February encounter by unanimous decision.
