Haney on Taylor: “S **** y boy 🗑️”

Devin Haney reacted negatively to the loss of the former undisputed welterweight master Josh Taylor from Ekow Essuman, mocking him in social media, calling him “boy” “s **** y” and showing emoji garbage. Taylor (19-3, 12 KO) lost the third straight fight from 2023.

Last Saturday evening, Taylor lost a 12-round unanimous decision for Essuman (22-1, 8 KO) before his family crowd at SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland. The results were 116-112, 116-113 and 116-113.

There was talk about the fight of Haney and Taylor, but nothing came of it. Among Josh Haney, after his loss he suggests that he still has bad blood.

Devin Haney’s insult

“Wow, Josh Taylor .. S **** Boy 🗑️,” said Devin Haney XResponding to the performance of Josh Taylor against Ekow Essuman on Saturday evening in Glasgow.

The former world champion with two Haney divisions (32-0, 15 KO) had difficulty defeating Jose Ramirez on May 2 at Times Square, Fresh York. Haney received broad criticism from fans for putting tedious effort, running around the ring all night, trying to stop.

Fans in social media destroyed Haney, saying that he was “afraid” to be hit by the faded united welterweight master. They felt that Devin was simply a shell of what he was before losing to Ryan Garcia and that he was permanently ruined. The consensus is that Haney was not so good.

Taylor defeated Ramirez by 12-round decision in 2021 to capture the unquestionable championship of 140 pounds.

34 -year -old Taylor was a favorite of the fight in his debut in 147. It was believed that he would cope with a hard but circumscribed Esuman without too many problems, but he lacked the engine in the second half to get a victory. It was a difference in combat. Taylor was technically better, but Essuman had a better gas tank.

Haney’s next fight

Haney has no opponent set for another fight. Entering the Times Square party, she talked that Devin would fight Ryan Garcia in October. It seems that this is now turned off, taking into account the loss of Ryan Rolando Romero on the card on May 2 and the shy, ponderous performance of Haney against Ramirez.
