Although technically Haney (31-0, 15 KO) lost to Ryan on the basis of a major-bearing majority decision, de la Hoya sees it as a knockout.
Avoiding a rematch
Haney can live to regret the fight against Ramirez instead of going straight to the rematch with Ryan. Ramirez is still fighting near the level at which he was previously in his career and his power still exists.
