Undefeated Up And Comers Highlight Boxing Insider Promotion’s Atlantic City Saturday Night Card

By: Sean Crose

11-0 Justin Figueroa returns to action on Saturday evening, when 26-year-old warrior Jersey slip in between the ropes to face Rios Mario Gaston 10-3-1. The Super Feather Wweight Romance is scheduled for six and will be the main event of a confidential boxing card organized by Tropican in Atlantic City. The event will be broadcast live by Dazn Streaming Service from 19:00 Eastern time. Only two fights went at a distance, Figueroa gains a reputation of growing strength in the division. It has also been proven that it is quite popular when it appears on cards with boxing guides.

Considering this, Rios Argentina will not appear in Atlantic City on Saturday simply to pick up the payment. At this point, the 35 -year -old’s career victory over scorching talent can be a significant escalate in his career. Rios undoubtedly also wants to take good results after arresting in his last fight Alex Bray in December last year. Of the seven of ten wins at a distance, Rios looks like a warrior oriented warrior, something that fans in Atlantic City, and Dazna will undoubtedly find attractive.

4-0 Bruce Seldon also showed impressive power, stopping three of the four opponents of the ring from the sound of the last bell. As the son of the former heavyweight leaf Bruce Seldon, Jersey Fighter is a kind of royal boxing. To leave his own sign, 30-year-old Junior Seldon will take the costs of Gabriel 4-7-1 on Saturday’s card. Like Figueroa, Seldon is in a perilous part of his career, in which the mistake of being too willing to end the night can be an appealing option. However, at least so far no man has fallen into this trap.

Another attraction this weekend will be 21-1 Vlad Panin Squing against 10-5 Brian Agustin Arregui in the scheduled round round 10. Indeed, the whole Saturday six combat cards should prove to be an fascinating counterpoint for some other weekend broadcasting events, because it will focus on the future of this sport more than the past, and even its present. The Saturday program will be the fourth event in the field of boxing in Tropicana, which together with Sony Hall in Manhattan was a place for cards with Boxing informants.

George Foreman: 1949-2025

By: Sean Crose

One of the greatest weighty weight of all time died. George Foreman, who became as known as his grills as his stunning second career in boxing, was one of a kind. “Our hearts are broken,” said Foreman’s estate in a statement in social media on Friday evening. “With deep sadness we announce the departure of our beloved George Edward Foreman Sr., who calmly left on March 21, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. A pious preacher, devoted husband, loving father and proud and great -grandfather, lived with life marked by different faith, humility and cell.”

He is not a hyperbola to claim that Foreman led an extraordinary life, moving from heel to one of the most believing characters of pop culture in America and leaving an indelible mark in boxing sports. “Humanitarian, Olympian and two -time heavyweight master of the world”, he continued the statement – “he was deeply respected – strength for the good, man of discipline, beliefs and as a defender of his heritage, tirelessly to keep his good name – for his family.”

After winning the gold medal at the 1968 Olympic Games, Foreman became one of the most cruel strokes in the heavyweight division. In 1973, he was ready to become a heavyweight champion from Houston, which he achieved, repeatedly abandoning the defending master Joe Frazier six times in two rounds before the fight. However, less than three years later the situation changed to worse for Foreman, because former world champion Muhammad Ali stunned the world, throwing Foreman and taking his crown in Zaire.

Surprisingly, Foreman regained the championship in weighty weight – full twenty years after he lost him from Ali. Foreman’s return probably began when he had a deep religious experience, which permanently changed his life. Becoming a ordained minister, Foreman returned to boxing in 1987 to earn money for his parish. It was then seen by many as a joke. At that moment Foreman was fat and bald, looking completely different than the intimidating giant he was once. Foreman recently laughed when in 1994 he knocked out the defense of IBF heavyweight titles and WBA Michael Moore, full two decades after losing the championship with Ali.

Foreman continued the fight until 1997. At that time, he was seen more as a ubiquitous spokesman for a celebrity and a grill than a warrior. Indeed, the money earned from George Foreman Grills reportedly made him the richest athlete in the world – even exceeding the NBA and King Sneaker Michael Jordan. After his death, George Foremeen left the world of boxing with a dazzling, positive narrative that would never happen again. “We are grateful for pouring love prayers and we kindly ask for privacy because we worship the extraordinary life of a man to call our own,” said Foreman’s estate.

Rest in peace, Large George.

The two -time heavyweight champion George Foreman dies at the age of 76

“Substantial” George Foreman, one of the most influential and recognizable boxers of all time, died on Friday, his family Announced on his account on social media.

He was 76 years venerable.

Foreman, who won the Olympic gold medal in 1968, was a two -time heavyweight champion and Hall of Fame boxer.

Perhaps he is best known for the historical rumble in the jungle with Muhammad Ali in 1974 in Zaire, the foreman lost nervousness by the end of the eighth round. This is probably the most renowned struggle of all time and the film “When Were Kings”, which described the fight, won the Oscar for the best documentary.

Foreman once again underwent a story later in his career. He fought five times after he lost the championship in massive weight from Ali at the age of 25, including the victory of TKO in the fifth round over Joe Frazier (whom he stopped in two rounds to win the title for the first time) and the fifth round of Ron Lyle in a classic slugfest.

After the fifth fight at the age of 28, Foreman shockingly announced a pension and began his career as an ordained minister in his hometown of Texas.

Foreman was retired for 10 years. He returned to boxing in 1987 at the age of 38 and probably installed the most impressive sports return in history.

Initially, Foreman pulled the record with uncomplicated victories. One of them was a knockout in the second round of Gerry Cooney. But then, in 1991, Foreman proved that this return was real when he pushed the great Evander Holyfield on the edge in a classic fight for the title in massive weight at the age of 42. Although he failed to become a two -time heavyweight champion, Foreman was not listed.

Five fights later, after losing to Tommy Morrison, Foreman reached unthinkable.

On the results cards in the next fight for the title Foreman he was combined with two strokes, which put Michael Moorer for 10 in 1994. At the age of 45 and 299 days, Foreman was once again a heavyweight champion of the world, the oldest man who took the largest prize in boxing (and also the oldest master in history, which was for 20 years).

“It happened,” Jim Lampley called to the HBO transmission. “It happened!”

Foreman had a successful career with Lampley as a HBO boxing analyst. But his greatest success outside the ring has not yet come.

In the same year, Foreman defeated Moorerera, launched his title grill, which sold over 100 million pieces around the world.

In 1999 he sold the commercial rights of George Foreman Grill for $ 138 million.

Foreman’s last fight took place in November 1997, in most losses of decisions for Shannon Briggs.

For 12 years he maintained his role in HBO as a ring analyst, ending in 2004.

The ring called Foreman the ninth of the great puncher of all time, and in 2002 one of the 25 best boxers of the last 80 years.

In the Top Range statement, he called Foreman “one of the biggest hits and personalities he has ever seen.”

“George was a great friend not only himself, but for my whole family,” said Bob Arum, the chairman of the highest class. “We lost a family member and we are absolutely devastated.”

“Tonight I am flooded with tears after I found out about the death of my dear friend and transmission partner George Foreman. I loved him,” said Lampley in a statement. “He was a great warrior and far, a much bigger man. Every great thing that happened to him, and there was a lot of unusual blessings, was richly deserved. My thoughts and prayers are today with his family, friends and a prejudice.”

Image: Facing 'Rocks in His Hands': Ryan Garcia Concedes Rolly Romero's Threat, Sees Greater Risk Than Haney or Lopez

Ryan Garcia believes that he has the most tough duel on the deadly fighter card of three fighters and on May 2 at Times Square, Modern York. Garcia (24-1, 20 KO) will face the powerful, but deeply defective Rolando Romero in the main event on this Dazn PPV card.

Times square fights

  • Ryan Garcia vs. Rolando “Rolly” Romero
  • Devin Haney vs. Jose Ramirez
  • Teofimo Lopez vs. Arnold Barboz Jr.

The other two fighters A, Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez, stand in front of Jose Ramirez and Arnold Barboza in the fighting that they can win by passing opponents. Ryan says that Haney (31-0, 15 KO) and the WBO champion of the Teofimo (21-1, 13 KO) lumen have less to worry that there is no threat, that they will appear.

Ramirez’s chance

Haneya’s needy impact resistance exposes him to a moderate risk of stopping, because the former WBC champion and WBO 140-lb Ramirez (29-2, 18 KO) has some power. However, his knockout comes from the landing of the accumulation of shots and probably will not be able to do it against Haney because of his movement.

Devin stabs a lot and holds. If Ramirez concentrates his training camp on throwing compact hooks, like Ryan, he could knock out Haney, because he will catch him when he comes to Clinch.

A vast part of the Haney game is playing. This became the basis of his style since the fight with Jorge Linares in 2021 and cannot return to the way he fought without repeating. So, if Ramirez trains to throw compact hooks, he has a good chance of finishing what Garcia started.

“I think so. YouTube Channel, when asked who had the most tough duel on the “Fatal Fury” card on May 2 at Times Square. “They [Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez] Favorites for some reason.

Avoiding rocks

If Ryan can avoid hitting any of the wild Rolly shots, he will easily win the fight. It will not be effortless for him, because Romero will probably still be in the fight until the sixth round. It is good for at least six rounds and can do a lot of damage at that time. If Ryan hurts him before one of his left hooks, he must try to finish him.

“So because of his power?” Bess said that Ryan must be careful of Rolly because of his impact strength.

“Even Tank said:” This guy has rocks in his hands, “said Garcia about Romero. “I feel that this guy is explosive. If I am caught with one shot, it could be the end of the night.”

“Tank says Rolly hits more than you,” Reyes said.

“Yes, that’s exactly what I say. I feel that I have the highest sensor,” Ryan said about Rolly. “Maybe it wouldn’t be the most qualified, but if it lands, it will be early night.”
