The Tyson Fury vs. Anthony Joshua fight will be a fight for the Fight of Britain belt
Published

Tyson Fury will fight Anthony Joshua for the belt later this year.
Fury and Joshua yes signed contracts until the final fight, which is scheduled to take place in November.
“AJ” must first defeat Kristian Prenga on July 25 in Riyad, while a warm-up fight for Fury is currently being discussed.
Although no world title is on the line, Ring magazine revealed that the long-time rivals will compete for the “Fight for Britain” belt.
The custom belt awarded to the winner is made of 100% gold.
Fury called for a long-awaited fight with Joshua after beating Arslanbek Makhmudov on points following his return to the ring following his retirement last month.
“AJ”, who was watching the event from ringside, declined his invitation to the ring at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Fury revealed after the fight that he had no interest in fighting anyone other than Joshua.
“If there’s no Anthony Joshua next time, I’m not interested in boxing,” the 37-year-old said.
“I’ll eat a thousand Easter eggs, reach 35 stone and leave, I’m not interested.
“It’s either him or I’m gone again.
“Now I’m only interested in AJ.
“It’s a defining fight for British boxing; it either happens or it doesn’t.”
Joshua is fighting for the first time since Jake Paul’s sixth-round knockout in December against Prengi, who has been beaten once in his professional career.
Ten days later, the two-time world heavyweight champion was involved in a fatal car accident that killed two of his close friends and left him with minor injuries.
“It’s no secret that I’ve taken some time to consolidate and rebuild to be ready to get back into the ring, and today is the next step in that journey,” the 36-year-old said.
“I am delighted to have agreed to a multi-fight contract starting on July 25 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
“I’m looking forward to competing and continuing where I left off.
“Like I said. The landlord will collect rent. That’s for sure.”
