Eddie Hearn has provided his predictions for Saturday’s world heavyweight title fight between Fabio Wardley and Daniel Dubois.

Wardley will defend his WBO world heavyweight title against former IBF champion Dubois on Saturday at the Co-op Live Arena in Manchester, live on DAZN.

Hearn had previously promoted Wardley and supported the Ipswich favorite, who handed ‘Dynamite’ his fourth professional defeat in his first title defence.

“I supported Wardley about five times and he proved me wrong five times,” Hearn told the media.

“I don’t even really want to support him, but if you ask me honestly, I believe Wardley will stop Daniel Dubois at the end of the fight.”

Dubois enters the fight as an underdog and coming off a fifth-round knockout loss to Oleksandr Usyk last August.

The 28-year-old lost the IBF belt and retained it after the fifth round knockout of Anthony Joshua in 2024 in favor of the Ukrainian champion.

Wardley was elevated to full WBO champion in November after Usyk chose to vacate the title rather than face him.

31-year-old arrested Joseph Parker in his final appearance in October to win the interim championship before being promoted to the full WBO title list.

The knockout ratio between them is 95% and Wardley insists the fight won’t last long.

“A lot of action,” he said Professional boxing fans.

“Total action.

“It’s not really something you need referees for.

“I think they’ll have an effortless night at work.

“Just tune in. May 9. Fireworks.”

The owner of the WBC, WBA and IBF crowns, Usyk, has already revealed that he wants to face the winner of Saturday’s fight.

The 39-year-old will defend the WBC belt for the first time against a former kickboxing champion, Rico Verhoeven May 23 in Egypt.
