The International Olympic Committee took a key step towards stopping boxing in the program for the Los Angeles Games in 2028 because it recognized the novel sport managing body.

The MKC Council awarded the ephemeral recognition on Wednesday World Boxing, a group founded in 2023 as a detachment for a long time established but restless international boxing association. World Boxing has 78 members, including many former IBA members, on five continents.

The mkc said that world boxing showed that 62% of boxers from last year’s Olympic Games Paris were associated with its members. The IOC added that world boxing “showed mighty readiness and effort in increasing good management and implementation to be in line with the appropriate standards.”

There were great boxing Gennadiy Golovkin, who directs the commission for the task of establishing world boxing as a reliable body to conduct Olympic duels, said it was an crucial moment, but there was a lot of work left.

“Receiving the ephemeral recognition of the Olympic from the IOC is an crucial achievement and shows that our sport is on the right track. This decision brings us to our main goal – keeping boxing at the Olympic Games, “said Golovkin in a statement.

The IOC suspended IBA in 2019 after long -term management disputes, his finances and integrity of struggle and assessment. The IOC took a sporadic step consisting in exile IBA from the Olympic movement in all in 2023, shortly after World Boxing Breakaway.

The IOC organized boxing tournaments at the Olympic Games in Tokyo in 2021 and Paris Games last year, but said that he needed a novel partner in 2028.

Since the suspension of IBA and his Russian president, Umar Kremlev has continued to meet with the IOC, especially regarding the principles of eligibility for women in Paris Ighing, with an emphasis on gold medalists IMane Khelif and Lin Yu-Inning. Iba said this month that he plans to lodge criminal complaints against the IOC in the United States, France and Switzerland.

Can Devin Haney get back in shape?

Published

on

By: Sean Crose

Although this is a real Devin Haney, who won his fight with Joseph Ramirez last Friday evening at Time Square, it is actually a given fact that most fans and analysts recognized his performance as failure. Why wouldn’t they? The main goal of Haney tonight could avoid being pure by Ramirez. Although he certainly won Fair and Square Fair, his countryman from San Francisco did not impress those compelling to see how he would come back from throwing, which he took in the gloves of Ryan Garcia a year earlier.

However, as everyone knows, a forbidden substance was found in the Garcia system during the fight. The fight was then essentially invalid. What’s more, Garcia was suspended for the whole year. What’s more, Garcia ended in his own ring return on Friday in Fresh York, dropped and decisions by a significant weaker Roland Romero. Haney could look bad last week, but Garcia looked even worse. People now say that Garcia has lost because he did not have the support of medicine to boost performance against Romero. It may, but it doesn’t have to, but ultimately it doesn’t seem to be relevant to Haney.

Why? Because for any reason Haney was seriously beaten by Garcia that night in 2024, so seriously that he could change the way Haney fought in the ring last weekend in Fresh York. Still, Haney must now leave the past if possible. The question is whether he can. If Haney is now a shell of his former self, this is a significant tragedy. However, if he manages to recover his senior spark, Haney can be a force that should be reckoned again. At best, he is an impressive warrior.

Boxing is nothing if not a strange undertaking. For every crushing failure, there is a story of returning to balance. George Foreman personified this, being both a picture of failure and a picture of a glorious return within a few decades. Although he is not an exhilarating warrior, Haney is a high -octane professional. Before the last weekend, his fights never turned out to be monotonous. For example, his fight against Vasyl Lomachenko was a blazer. I hope the Haney version will be able to come back. It would be good for the health of this sport.

Boxing Superstar Manny Pacquiao will end his almost four years of retirement, heading to Mario Barrios for the WBC Wytreight Championships on July 19 in Las Vegas, the sources confirmed ESPN on Thursday.

The fight will be available via PBC in Prime Video Pay-Per-View.

The 46 -year -old Pacquiao fought in August 2021, when he lost a unanimous decision against Jordenis Ugas to the WBA (Super) championship in welterweight. After losing, Pacquiao announced a pension on social media to focus primarily on a political career. But the first world champion in boxing boxing had an eye on the sport that made him home.

Rumors about his return have been circulating over the past year. In July 2024, Pacquiao competed in a boxing match with Kickboxer Rukya Anpo in Super Rizin 3. The name Pacquiao is related to the return fight from Barrios from the end of last year.

At least a weekly fight Canelo-Alvarez-William in Saudi Arabia, President of WBC Mauricio Sulaiman told the boxing king media The fact that Barrios was to defend the title against Pacquiao in the summer, and also noticed that Pacquiao had already been cleaned to compete by Nevada State Athletic Commission. WBC wrote the rules that state that the former champion may ask for a fight for the title after retiring.

“At that time, Mario Barrios will face Manny Pacquiao in July,” said Sulaiman. “It’s a huge fight.”

The first and only eight -member boxing champion is to be introduced to the Galeria of Boxing Sław next month. He is also during the very close Senate race in the Philippines, where he previously served as a senator in 2016-2022. According to Brunch Boxing, Pacquiao will not formally announce his return to boxing until the election of May 12. But all signs and sources indicate the announcement of Pacquiao.

Fighting with San Antonio, Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KO) recently fought against Abel Ramos based on the decision of Jake Paul with Mike Tyson. He won the WBC transient title in September 2023, when he developed Ugas and was raised to the full master in June 2024. After Terenka Crawford was appointed as a “master during a break” after he moved to 154 pounds towards Israil Madrymov. Only two Barrios’ losses came to Gervont Davis and Keith Thurman.

The event of cooperation will be a rematch between the unified Master Master, Sebastian Fund (22-1-1, 14 KO) and Tim Tziu (25-2, 18 KO). They both met earlier on March 30, 2024. The fund entered as a tiny -term deputy and won the divided decision in nervousness.

TGB currently has T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 19. But the Lady Gagi’s Mayhem Ball trip is promoted to 16, 18 and 19 July, which will probably take the fight to the neighboring MGM Grand Garden Arena, where Pacquiao Zadaat from State and won his first main world title against Lehlohonolo Ledwaba on June 23, 2001.

Image: Bill Haney Unleashes Tirade on Jermall Charlo After 'Wash' Comment Targeting Devin Haney

Bill Haney crashed on X in response to Jermalla Charlo, who said Rolando “Rolly” Romero to “wash” Devin Haney, as he did against Ryan Garcia last Friday, and then he will be “washed” I’m sorry with his career. In response to these words, Bill went to Tyrada, saying that the former world champion with two divisions Jermall wasted his career on marijuana and alcohol. He says that Devin earned more money and achieved more in his career than he did.

Self crust

Despite the victory, Haney (32-0, 15 KO) looked like a textbook example of an overworus, a warrior faded last Friday in the fight against Jose Ramirez in the Times Square in Fresh York. The performance was the worst of the whole event, which a lot said, because Ryan Garcia and Teofimo Lopez also looked terribly destitute.

All Three broken millionaires I fought as if they were there only for payments. In the case of Haney, he has an excuse, because last year in April in April in April in April last year in April in April last year in April last year in April in April in April in April. This version of Garcia looked like he could even out with his shots.

These arrows took something out of Haney, leaving a broken shell, which ran around the ring against Ramirez all night. Bill can do nothing with Devin except directing him towards the fight with Kingra, and then maneuver him as he did to build his record. The way Haney looked against Jose last Friday is probably a indefinite situation. Bill is not a magician and there is no magic wand to restore him to the way he was a fight before Ryan.

“Jermall Charlo planted all his career in Bud and alcohol. Now he talks about 26 -year -old Devina Haney [N-word] named Charlo, “said Bill Haney XResponding to Jermalla Charlo, who said Rolando “Rolly” Romero to fight Devin Haney and ended his career.

Instead of throwing Jermalla, Bill should have been volunteered to let his son, Devin, challenge Rolly for his second WBA title. The money would be good and could prove that it is not on the verge of washing. It is doubtful that Bill would do it because thanks to the power of Rolly he would end what was for good.
