Chris Eubank Jr once again talked about the perspective of Canelo Alvarez, a year after their two camps had a violent dispute over the proposed clash. Eubank Jr is preparing for his great rival, Conor Benn, on Saturday evening at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. However, the 35-year-old already has one eye, trained in the face of Alvarez, if he defeated Benna.
In a noisy duel between Canelo and the British star, Father Eubank Jr, a boxing icon Chris, spoke, in February 2024.
“Let’s get to the point, Canelo is the only person he will be able to fight now to redeem all respect from the fight,” Eubank SNR said earlier. “I know how you gain respect, he doesn’t overcome Liam Smith.
“Junior, this is my view – your saving grace will be Canelo. You are 168 pounds, Canelo is your way to get respect.”
However, for the whole bravado Eubank SR, the Alvarez syndrome said that the Eubank JR camp was not similar in negotiations, so the fight was put on a shelf. The Canelo team also maintained that each future shot in the 34-year-old is now excluded because of their alleged behavior during dialogue.
“This information is completely false,” said the coach of the Mexican warrior. “Eubank had a chance to fight Canelo in September, and everything he did, it complicated negotiations. We will not contact him again for the future fight.”
However, Turki Alalshikh, chairman of the general entertainment authority of Saudi Arabia, said in February that in 2026 in 2026 in 2026.
The promoter and general director of Boxxer Ben Shalom also believes that Eubank Jr’s dream is to the touch. “Chris is in the years when he really has to reckon,” said Shalom
“Do not defeat Conor Benn, it would be a parody, so the pressure is turned on. We have dreams of fighting Canelo and the fight for world titles, so Chris must go through Conor Benn.”
While in the face of facing Alavarez, Eubank himself said: “I think this is another logical fight and this fight, Turki [Alalshikh] He says that I can put me in a position to get to the ring from Canelo, which would be amazing, so I agree with him in this matter. “
Eubank Jr is now to become the world champion and is fighting with Benne after stopping over Smith and Kamil Szereme. Meanwhile, Benn tries to make up for the lost time after a long suspension after the defeat of two voluntary drug tests.
He was cleaned subordinate from all offenses, but the delay caused the cancellation of the original steam fight in October 2022. Benn fought only twice, recently in February 2024, when he defeated Peter Dobson by a unanimous decision. Meanwhile, Alvarez can face Trywford in the showdown of Las Vegas in September.

On Wednesday, Lewis Crocker heads to Australia to defend his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro for the first time.
Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.

Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.

McKean meets Taliva
Heavyweight Demsey McKean will look to continue his rebuild when he faces Liam Talivaa for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific title.
McKean (24-2, 16 KO) had his career cut miniature after a last-round loss to Filip Hrgovic, followed by a brutal first-round loss to Moses Itauma.
The 35-year-old southpaw returned to winning ways with back-to-back stoppage victories.
Talivaa (8-2, 4 KO) last won the IBF Oceania-Orient title, defeating Faiga Opelu by first-round stoppage.
Undercard remaining
At cruiserweight, Luke Modini (13-0, 11 KO) will likely need distance to beat Peng Qu (17-2-1, 12 KO), while Riley Candy (8-1, 5 KO) could stop Nathan Watson (11-3, 3 KO) at super middleweight.
Vegas Larfield (13-1, 9 KO) can hand Shamal Ram Anuj (11-8, 8 KO) his fourth defeat in a row in a featherweight clash.
Heavyweight Nelson Asofa-Solomon (2-0, 2 KO) can secure a third straight knockout over debutant George Burgess, and Stevan Ivic (8-0-1, 2 KO) can do the same against Caleb Tialu (3-7, 3 KO), also a heavyweight.
Prospective super welterweight fighter Jack Javed (1-0) should overtake Lance McDonald (1-5-1, 1 KO).
