The great debate of Terenka Crawford P4P
Published
1 year agoon
Terenka Crawford, a boxing super star, shoots at the foot on a pound debate many times for pounds.
The argument goes crazy as many as Crawford, like the undoubted number one warrior in the world.
When Oleksandr Usyk goes high at the World Boxing News summit, WBN must explain why Crawford sits in third place.
Crawford is a unique warrior and can be the best dog in all sport. However, its revue and the activity of the ring do not correspond to position requirements.
Oleksandr Usyk guards the WBN pound list for the pound, cleaning up the circuitous weight and dominated two heavyweight masters who were praised as the best generation until the Ukrainian appeared.
It’s no secret that Crawford turned out to be too much for every opponent he has ever met, which leads to his promoters and networks immediately calling him the best. The American gathered fantastic rule in the title of four valuables, including the unquestioned triumphs in super delicate and welterweight.
Crawford has 41-0, 31 KO, and certainly one of the most talented fighters of their generation. There is no doubt that his unreal talent. But like many debates about the undefeated Crawford Crawford, there are always negatives about Omaha natives.
His 19-0 record in the fight for the title of world champion largely met with dubious opposition, except for his last opponents, Shawn Porter, Errol Spence Jr. and Israil Madrimov.
Earlier, at the age of 38-0, Crawford remained the best dog in some eyes with a highly dubious CV.
This lack of pound on the pound names Pre-121 to show your long term “Bud” from the top five WBN P4P permanently. Only after Spence Crawford managed to press his way.
Defeating the British below Ricky Burns, Kell Brook and Amir Khan did nothing. These wins and his only previous victory against the P4P star in Juriorkis Gamboa made it quite a cut off.
His previous promoters of the highest rank changed between Crawford and Vasyl Lomachenko, representing both. But the truth is that the first one has not yet succeeded.
The fight in Black Prime against David Avaneyan certainly did not come to zero in 2022.
Win Spencer has changed everything because the victory method prevented him from ignoring his certificates as number one.
Oham needed this one current and recognizable best warrior for his CV, it happened when Al Haymon in the Premier Boxing Champions placed Crawford of Fight Fight, and the rest is a story.
However, Crawford’s rule as a king ended quickly due to inactivity.
Crawford has fought once a year for the last six years. This will not change in 2025, when the challenge of Canelo Alvarez in September. The best nebrask becomes a pound again, but he must win to review Usyk.
If Crawford fought twice a year during his six -year career, he would undoubtedly be number one from that time.
But the jury remains in the verdict room on the former undisputed Master, who currently leads 168 pounds. And Crawford has no one guilty.
Over time, Crawford repeated his desire to face the best, even though he was constantly not signing in the fight against the greatest names in his division.
There were opportunities to face Josh Taylor, Jaron Ennis, Vergil Ortiz, Keith Thurman, Manny Pacquiao and Jermell Charlo, but they never came.
Terenka Crawford promises a lot, but he is constantly not providing, despite the crying: “I do not throw anyone on the PBC side or the highest class platform. I want to fight all the best guys,” with whom the doubts are probably the main reason for fighting Canelo.
It is a career for the former WBA Super Lord. His next fight will dictate as you remember.
The victory of global titles in four weight classes is not an straightforward feat. However, Crawford has one more obstacle to make everything worth the West. The loss of Canelo Alvarez in another gloomy unanimous decision will restore statistics to launch the rule over his CV.
His CV, even beating the masters he has, can be questioned by himself to the caliber in front of the porter. For WBN it was the first solid win with a friend from a pound for a pound of a boxer since Gamboa in 2014.
In the years 2014–2021, the list of conquests of Terenca Crawford is deprived of each with real pounds per pound. Even Julius Indongo, who briefly flirted with the P4P rankings during the unification of the division, saw his career fell from Crawford, with two wins from twelve duels.
He wins on Kell Brook, Egidijus Kavaliauskas, Khan, Jose Benavidez, Jeff Horn, Indongo, Felix Diaz, John Molina Jr, Viktor Postol, Henry Lundy, Dierry Jean, Thomas Dulorme and Raymundo Beltran Beg the question: Who is tating these wins?
Only Brook and Khan had long spells among the best warriors in the world. Both of them sailed next to their best years ago, when they faced Crawford for money, trainer and manager Brian Bomac McIntyre knew about it.
Crawford found time to dig a Spence CV after the fall of the competition, when “Bud” went to the guaranteed payment of PPV to BLK Prime. He finally logged in and dominated before he returned to the sleep of one fight.
In need of this decisive opponent, he found him in Spence, but he did not utilize capitalization when the iron was very heated. Over the years, he passed through this line, which has slipped over for years, but ruined it, refusing to be lively.
Super-Buty Canelo is the last attempt to consider Teupers Crawford together with Floyd Mayweathers and Pacquiaos.
The ideal way would be to stop the Mexican four -time master in Super Middle, on September 13 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Oscar Collazo drops Valdez three times before stopping him in the corner

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.
The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.
Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.
The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.
“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.
Knockdowns
Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.
“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.
The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.
Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.
“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”
Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.
The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
