Sebastian Fundy keeps titles from TKO from Chordale Booker
Published

Sebastian Fundy kept the unified WBC titles and WBO Junior Medium Weight with the fourth round of TKO with Chordale Booker on Saturday in Las Vegas.
The fund (22-1-1, 15 KO) is the highest boxing champion for 6 feet-5½, despite weighing only 154 pounds. He used his 8.5-inch height advantage to exert pressure for a long Southpaw stab when he bloodied.
The fund stunned the Booker in round 3, and then made the pretender aware of the next round with a series of shots. Booker tried to survive, but a lot of blows along the lin forced the judge to stop the fight against nine seconds in round 4.
“He moved a lot; I don’t think he wanted to trade at all,” said the 27 -year -old fund.
The fund’s return after a year’s release in his career was a fight. The fund was set in a queue to fight the former master of Errola Spence, who was scheduled for October 2024, but was delayed many times and finally canceled from March 29.
The fund should be set to a much more convincing fight this summer. The undefeated Puerto Ricanan Xander Zayas is a must -have fund for both lanes and can be next. The fund also mentioned the possible union with the IBF Bakhram Murtazaliev champion.
The fund that fights Coachella in California is the younger weight of ESPN No. 2. He won the titles in March last year, when he defeated Tim Tisz in nervousness of a fraction in one of the best action fights this year. The fund accepted this task for an 11 -day termination after Keith Thurman was wounded.
Known as “high hell”, the fund has an 80-inch range and ranks second in 154 pounds by ESPN. The fund and his sister Gabriela are the first brother and sister who were full masters in the history of boxing. She was called ESPN women in 2024.
Booker (23-2, 11 KO) won six consecutive fights since the first round of KO with Ammunition Williams in 2022. The 33-year-old, who fights with Stamford in Connecticut, fought for his first world title.

As preteen, I was confused when my father told me about George Foreman, because what I saw on television did not quite fit what he tried to explain.
“This guy?” I asked when Michael Buffer announcer presented Foreman about the heavyweight title of Evander Holyfield on April 19, 1991. Foreman wore a red robe with a hood covering his bald head. The white towel covered the front of his 257-pound frame when he was circling there. During the introductions, Buffer said that Foreman was “considered the most destructive puncher in the history of boxing.” For me it sounded ridiculous, because Mike Tyson was the most destructive puncher I saw with my two adolescent eyes.
Foreman took off his robe and met Holyfield in the middle of the ring, his 42-year-old body clearly contrasted the carved Adonis, which stood opposite him. I grew up with a charmed professional, so I was a very “body guy” and the foreman did not look like Ultimate Warrior, Hulk Hogan or “Macho Man” by Randy Savage. Foreman was a bit round and fluffy. He looked like he didn’t belong to the same ring as Holyfield. In wrestling conditions he looked like “Jobber” – a guy routinely sent to “Squash matches”, so that the talent of the main event looks great. Tyson beat a lot of work. Foreman looked like a boxer Tyson would send in the first round.
“This guy?” I asked again before the fight began.
The foreman would lose by a unanimous decision, but he was badly shaken by Holyfield in a fantastic seventh round, in which both warriors consume a huge punishment. That night, television commentators survived Foreman’s performance and routinely talked about the earlier version of the boxer, the one who fought with Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier. This confused me, because Ali and Frazier were legends that I heard about and saw on VHS tape recordings. They were vintage now. They fought with a foreman?
In hip-hop music, sampling contains part of the existing sound recording in a up-to-date song. The sound is familiar, but has been changed in some way to exist in the present day. As someone who grew up on hip-hop, the gate was to meet artists from the past. “Electric Relaxation” of the “Electric Relaxation” tribe was presented to me by “Mystic Brew” by Ronnie Foster, “Doggy Dogg World” Snoop Dogga opened me to the “Summer Madness” gang and what is the hip-hop artist without the “funky drummer james brown” sample?
The Foreman version I watched, taking place with Holyfield, was a sample and I decided to find the original.
And what I found surprised my mind.
I am not entirely sure how I found vintage Foreman material, but I was surprised by this slim version that had a full head of hair and absolutely destroyed his opposition. Observing his two -bone Ten Joe Frazier in the first fight in 1973 made me admiration in the way the Clubged Frazier brigadist on canvas six times in less than six minutes to the notable call of Howard Cosell: “Down Goes Frazier!”
And then I saw “rumbling in the jungle”.
I was embarrassed by how Ali allowed Foreman to constantly hit him for seven rounds, then I turned the tables and they were notable for “Substantial George” in the eighth round of their epic clash of 1974. It occurred to me that I saw Foreman at the wrong end of this attraction Ali, but my adolescent brain could not connect the present with the past.
Another sample. Another version of the warrior who was remembered and worshiped in various eras. Until now, I was fascinated by the life of a foreman. I would not say that he was my favorite warrior, but he aroused my curiosity and served as a bridge between the past and the present. Although he lost to Holyfield, he forced me to think about what it means to be “vintage” in boxing and life. I looked at my father. People at the age of 40 were not destroyed and on the threshold of death. There was so much life to life as long as you were devoted to your fullness.
Foreman was devoted to life and creating a up-to-date chapter of his life.
Quickly forward until November 5, 1994 I was now a teenager and a devoted box of boxing. Foreman just lost to the rising star Tommy Morrison and I was surprised when he was announced an opponent of heavyweight master Michael Moorerer. Foreman was approaching the age of 46 and did nothing to justify the fight against the undefeated warrior 19 years of his junior. I assumed that it was a time when Foreman would “performed”, being a popular Moorer, could put his CV to raise his star power. In terms of wrestling, the vintage man “put Moorer”.
Everything that had to be done became a second man who knocked out the foreman, but Foreman was able to push the left stab through the relaxed guard Moore and follow the right hand that caused the master in a stack.
“It happened! It happened!” Commentator Jim Lampley shouted in disbelief.
Foreman proved that “age is nothing but”, he was more than a song of the deceased Aaliyah Haughton. He opposed his chances and would not let his father laugh.
Foreman fought four more times after this historic night and put down the gloves for good when he lost most of Shannon Briggs in 1997. Foreman was only a few weeks after his 49th birthday, but he was already in the process of discovering himself as an entrepreneur and a businessman with a charming smile and a product that got a lot of adolescent adults.
George Foreman Grill.
Yes, he too. And for many unspecified fans he will be remembered more as a grill guy than a risky boxer.
In a sense, what Foreman achieved over 30 years ago made the NBA star Lebron James still do in his amazing season 40 years, because the template was set.
Again again. Opposing the opportunities. Overcoming the father’s time. And he did it with a smile.
For me, George Foreman will always be remembered as “this guy.”

Promoter Eddie Hearn says that Richardson Hitchins will defend his IBF welterweight title against No. 3 George Cambosos Jr. June 21, if he is healed by that time. If this is not the case, Hitchins (19-0, 7 KO) will face someone else on that day.

Cut
Hearn does not say who will be a backup plan for Hitchins if Cambosos is not cured. He suffered from cutting with Jake Wyllie, hitting heavily through a juvenile pistol, which turned out to be much more hard than expected. His youth, power and natural lightweight lightweight made life hard for Cambosos. George is not built for the division of 140 pounds and we saw it against Wyllie.
Emperor test
The 31-year-old Cambosos made his debut on 140 last Saturday evening, defeating the replacement opponent Wyllie (16-2, 15 KO) by 12-round unanimous decision in Sydney, Australia. “Emperor” Cambosos fought during a competition with a 24-year-old, non-medium Wyllie, winning the results of 117-111, 115-113 and 117-111.
It is not clear why IBF gave Cambosos a #3 ranking After only one fight in 140 with a second level warrior, exile. It doesn’t make much sense. Cambosos exceeded these talented fighters in the 15 best IBF rankings in lightweight welterweight:
– Liam Paro
– Kenneth Sims
– Jamaine Ortiz
– Jose Ramirez
– Elvis Rodriguez
– Subriel Matias
– Isaac Cruz
I don’t see Cambosos beating any of these rivals. These guys would be too good for a constrained guy, such as “Emperor”, who is largely seen by fans as one hit.
Date
“The date will take place on June 21. This is the date we are aiming at. There is no move on this day. Whoever Richardson Hitchins is fighting on that day, George Cambosos or someone else,” said Eddie Hearn supervisor Ring magazine YouTube channel, telling about possibilities No. 3, in the George Cambosos Jr. ranking By challenging Richardson Hitchins for his title IBF 140-LB in the summer of June 21.
“I don’t think the cut is so bad. It is 13 weeks after tonight. So the cure will take four or five weeks, but it will be functional, and he can start with sparring again. He must make this date and I believe that maybe. This is a great fight fight [Hitchins vs. Kambosos] George is action and caught all belts aged 135 [*Note: Kambosos briefly held the IBF, WBA, and WBO lightweight titles, but NOT the WBC. As such, he did not capture “all the belts.”]. The emphasis will be epic and I believe that it will be a great fight, “said Hearn.

Joshua’s “Special Treatment”: says Hearn AJ can fight anyone, despite the recent failure because of a commercial appeal

March 24, 2025
Promoter Eddie Hearn was furious on Saturday after he said that the critic said that Anthony Joshua was not credible to fight for the title of heavyweight champion after his last catastrophic show.
Rules for Joshua
Hearn pointed out that Joshua (28-5, 24 KO) is “The biggest commercial draw” In the division, which means that he can fight anyone who wants. If he wants to fight for the title of world champion, maybe.
In other words, Joshua is not subject to ordinary rules that apply to other fighters. He can do what they like because he is a former double heavyweight champion. It is always nice to hear that some warriors have special treatment and that they do not judge.
It would mean more if Joshua beat high -level fighters to capture his two world titles, but this did not happen. AJ defeated several average, daily heavyweight to become a two -time heavyweight champion.
How Joshua became a two -time heavyweight champion:
- Andy Ruiz Jr: AJ Refunts his three titles against 283-Funt Ruiz
- Charles Martin
I’s Royal Road
“The way the world works is, if you are actively the biggest name in the heavyweight department, which is now Anthony Joshua, the biggest commercial draw now, when Tyson Fury is retired. He can fight with anyone, what he wants at any time,” said promoter Eddie Hearn Ring magazineResponding to the saying that the critic said that 35-year-old Anthony Joshua is not credible to fight for the title of champion after his last knockout defeat in the fifth round in his last fight with Daniel Dubois on September 21.
“Jake Paul is not credible in the fight against Canelo Alvarez, but they have signed a contract. AJ is a two -time heavyweight champion and is the biggest name in the division. So he can fight anyone who wants, but I don’t think he will fight for the world heavyweight championships.
Joshua would be stupid to fight for the title of world champion because he has no chance against them. WBA, WBC and heavyweight champion WBO Oleksandr Uyk have already learned AJ twice.
After the second loss, Joshua looked crazyKidding Usyk’s belts and throwing them out of the ring. Rant aj in the ring was arduous to listen because he didn’t make sense and sounded as if he had blew the gasket. Joshua would not be pointless to fight Usyk or Dubois.
If Hearn wants Joshua to fight for the title of heavyweight champion, WBA “ordinary” Master Kubrat Pulev would be a nice, safe and sound choice. 43-year-old Pulev recently captured the secondary strap WBA with victory over the Mahmoud Char and jumped on a chance to fight AJ again.
