This Saturday, the WBC world title will be on the line Sebastian Fundor wants to defend his crown against the former world champion Keith Thurman in Las Vegas.
Thurman is fighting for the WBC title for the second time in his career, this time against super welterweight champion Fundora at the MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Fundora (23-1-1, 15 KO) became the full WBC champion after winning by split decision Tim Tszyu already in March 2024
He then had a rematch with the Australian and this time he did even better, forcing him to retire in the seventh round after dropping him in the first.
His second title defense came in equally impressive style when he stopped Booker’s Chordale in just four rounds.
The 180 cm high behemoth has only one defeat in his 25-fight biography, and it came at the hands of Brian Mendozawho knocked him out in the seventh before Fundora was counted.

The 33-fight veteran has fought just two times in the last 48 months, first against the former WBC welterweight world champion Mario Barrioswhere he won by wide points decision.
He recently faced Brock Jarvis just over a year ago, after a break in the third round, it found itself in the knockout stages again.
