Pat McCormack takes a huge step towards the world title on Saturday evening at Rainton Meadows Arena in Sunderland, and a man from the north -east grabs Miguel Parra in the eliminator of the WBA welterweight title during the planned ten rounds.

The Silver Olympic medalist 2020, McCormack (7-0, 5 costs), was at the 10-Rund level in his last three trips, forcing Tony Dixon to retire after four rounds of the battle in July 2023 in his first distance expedition.

The 30-year-old won all 10 rounds against Williams Andres Herrera in October last year, and then Robbie Davies Jr fell three times before he forced six cages to retire.

McCormack will now face Parra Mexico (25-5-1, 17 food), a 32-year-old in good shape since Shakhram Giyasova lost in July last year.

“Maquina” won twice in her homeland before traveling to Spain to force Nestor Gonzalez to retire after three rounds in his last task in July.

Forecasting: McCormack has been impressive until now, and Parra will come to the fight, which should match the family warrior. McCormack can get closer to the shot in Rolando Romero with a wide victory in points.

Dickinson is fighting Williamson

Undercard offers a fantastic commercial fight because Mark Dickinson defends his English title of super medium weight against Troy Williamson in the north-eastern Derby.

Dickinson (8-1, 2 KO) lost the cards from Kazuto Takeako in Japan in July last year, but he bounced to win the English title in March, scoring clear points with previously undefeated Reece Farnhill in Altincham.

Since the dropping of the British title at the Super Welter, weighing points to Josh Kelly in December 2022, Williamson Darlington (20-4-1, 14 food) has lost another three times, winning only once in the sixth.

The last 34-year-old defeat was wide if he was dressed twice before he fell on the results cards for Jahi Tucker in Las Vegas in April.

Forecasts: Williamson recently showed signs of slowdown, and Dickinson can operate this to win points to keep the belt.

In six runes in Bantamweight Tiah Mai Ayton (1-0, 1 KO) should be the winner of the points from Lydie Bialic (3-3-1, 1 KO).

In four rounds, the heavyweight perspective Leo Atang (1-0, 1 KO) should win early with Cristian UWAKA (1-5-1, 1 KO) and a debutant in Bradley Case in Krążowarska Bradley Case with the same method against Goran Kozul (5-7, 2 food).

Lithe perspective, Cameron Vuong (8-0, 4 Food) and Bantamweight Prince, Adam Maca (1-0, 1 KO) also have to confirm opponents.
