Gervonta “Tank” Davis packed Brooklyn’s Barclay’s Center with fans on Saturday evening, when he accepted the former amateur Lamont Roach foil in the main event of the PBC Pay Per View card. 30-0 Davis entered the ring as one of the more popular and explosive fighters in the industry. When it comes to PERVS 25-1-1, on Saturday he slipped between the ropes, aiming to shock the world, raising the delicate WBA title from Davis’ arms. It was certainly a high order, but boxing is nothing if not an unexpected theater.

The first round was something like a process for every warrior, although Roach was more energetic of them. The second was close. Several blows were thrown, although Davis could have cleaner shots. The third was also close, although Davis could improve from it, being a bit more energetic than a punishment. It should be noted, however, that some Davis’ shots landed on the high guard of Roach. Davis moved much in the fourth, to the extent that it could cost him. In fifth place, Davis began an attack of a body that could pay off in future rounds.

Davis attacked strenuous in the first part of the sixth part. The fight turned in favor of the defending master, who at that moment dictated the pace and landing. Both men fought strenuous in seventh place. Do not make a mistake, Roach had sedate moments. However, Davis had his own moments. One thing was certain – Roach came to win and was not impressed by Davis’s cruel reputation. Davis was marked and marked by Roach in eighth place.

Davis was very fighting.

As soon as the action was resumed, Davis went to rinse. His attack was cruel and impressive – but Roach lasted the attack. Not only did he throw Davis. The master could win the round, but it was Slugfest. Roach fought so well in the tenth tenth, he could win the chapter. Davis just didn’t seem. Was something wrong? Or maybe he just faced a man he couldn’t hurt? The eleventh was explosive and challenging to call. It wasn’t a suspicious fight. It was better, much better

The twelfth and last round was a war for abrasion. It may be uncomplicated to see the ruling struggle in favor of anyone. The judges, however, ruled the fight for the draw of the majority. “Lamont is a great warrior,” said Davis later. “I hope that we can do it back … Let’s do it again.” Roach himself was also open to the rematch. “I definitely thought I won,” he said. “We can come back again … I am one of the best warriors in the world and showed up tonight.”

Hrgovic claims Dave Allen has a ‘loser mentality’

Image: Filip Hrgovic Says Dave Allen Has “Loser Mentality”

Hrgovic strongly disagreed and mocked Allen’s approach to the fight while discussing his opponent.

“Yes, that’s his loser mentality. That’s what he achieved throughout his career. That’s why he suffered 10 defeats and I suffered one defeat,” Hrgovic told iFL TV.

“It’s just an underdog mentality. I just take the pressure off myself like, ‘I’m a Doncaster boy.’ I’m here to fight the good fight. I don’t have to win. It puts pressure on him.”

“You know, it’s a loser’s mentality. So OK, I’ll take the pressure. I have to win. I’m a winner.

“He always had this mentality. ‘I’m fat. I don’t train. I don’t need to win. I’m tiny’. Come on, man. Don’t make excuses your whole life. Just train, be professional and go for the win.

“I expect him to be the best version of himself because this is a huge opportunity for him and it’s his hometown. I expect him to be in good shape.

“I think I’m definitely a tougher fight for him than Zhang. Zhang is aged, aged.

“I can also be fat if I don’t train and if I drink beer. I can be fat and be a journeyman and come to every fight and just say, ‘I don’t have to win.’ I’m here to fight the good fight. “

“I think I’m better. I’m faster. I’m better in all aspects of the fight. But you know, it’s heavyweight boxing. Anything can happen and he’s a brave guy. He always comes forward and steps up to the fight. So I think it’ll be a good fight.”

Hrgovic comes into the fight after a tough recent run that has included physical fights with Daniel Dubois, Joe Joyce and David Adeleye. He defeated Joyce and Adeleye after losing to Dubois, with both victories coming after tough rounds and bulky rallies.

The fight will be the main event of Saturday’s heavyweight gala in Doncaster.

If Oleksandr Usyk loses to Verhoeven, he will immediately be stripped of his world title

Oleksandr Usyk will immediately be stripped of world title if he loses to Verhoeven

The situation surrounding all of Oleksandr Usyk’s world champion titles has already been determined before his fight with kickboxer Rico Verhoeven.

The WBC controversially put its belt on the line before this fight, meaning that Verhoeven, despite having little or no chance of winning, could win the belt in May 23 in Egypt.

The WBA announced today that the fight will count as a successful world title defense if Usyk wins, but the challenger will not be able to claim the belt, even if it causes seismic shocks. If this happens, a committee will meet on next steps.

The IBF has taken a similar stance, but while Verhoeven cannot win that title either, the sanctioning body will immediately declare the heavyweight belt vacant if Usyk loses.

The conditions under which Usyk can fight to remain champion are as follows:

1. If Usyk loses on May 23, 2026, the IBF heavyweight title will be immediately declared vacant.

2. If Usyk wins on May 23, 2026, the IBF will recognize the WBC’s position in the rotation and will order an IBF mandatory fight for one hundred and eighty (180) days thereafter.

3. If the WBA grants special permission, the IBF will recognize the WBA’s position in the rotation and order an IBF mandatory fight for one hundred and eighty (180) days thereafter.

4. The IBF reserves the right to change the mandatory deadline in the event of significant delays in the rotation.

After the fight with Verhoeven, Usyk will be ordered to face WBC mandatory Agit Kabayel, and promoter Frank Warren is sure that he will be stripped of the belt if he does not fulfill his obligation.

O’Shaquie Foster sparks reaction with Fight Week Physique photo

Shakur Stevenson not in a hurry to face O'Shaquie Foster.

Some praised Foster’s conditioning and predicted a good performance against Ford, while others doubted whether the WBC super featherweight champion would pull too much weight before the defense.

Foster rarely receives as much attention as some of the bigger names in the lower weight classes, but a viral photo has brought him back into the conversation online. Fans debated whether Ford would be able to handle Foster’s strength and physicality after moving from featherweight to fighting.

The fight was already generating attention due to the Houston setting and the tension between the two fighters online, but Foster’s photo from training sparked even more discussion about the DAZN card. Houston fans are expected to turn out in immense numbers for the event at the Fertitta Center, which will be one of the biggest hometown shows of Foster’s career.

Foster gained more attention after his victory over Stephen Fulton, with many fans hoping he would stay at lightweight and continue pushing for a fight with Shakur Stevenson.

Instead, Foster returned to 130 pounds, and talk of fighting Stevenson gradually died down.

A powerful performance against Ford could change that quickly, especially if Foster delivers the kind of performance fans now expect after seeing the state he appears to be in heading into the fight.
