Mention of Turki Alalshikh about the desire to match Jaron “Boots” Ennis and Vergil Ortiz Jr. In the fight for 154 pounds in November, fans strengthened, but skeptical whether the fight will happen.

Ennis vs. Ortiz: will it happen?

It is a fight that can raise Ennis shoes for fame if it is impressive, beating the undefeated Vergil Jr. Defeating him would make more in his career in a match than any of his previous wins in his nine -year CV.

On the other hand, if Ennis loses badly, he would have to consider other career options, such as transfer to 160. It is gigantic enough to fight in average, and the division is sterile talent. It would be perfect for shoes if he was beaten by Vergil Jr.

Ennis (34-0, 30 KO) has already rejected the largest payday day in his career to fight Ortiz Jr. (23-0, 21 KO) On the Turki card on February 22 in Riyadh. It was a wasted opportunity for bots in a fight that would augment his star power if he won.

Apparently, at that time, he rejected an $ 8 million offer for the fight against Vergil Jr., deciding to stay in 147 to face the WBA champion Eimantas Stanionis in the fight of Unification in April last year. It was a bad look at the role of Ennis, rejecting a high career to take a smaller fight with Stanionis.

Turki will try to make Ennis-Ortiz Jr. He fought for November with three other great fights. “We are now talking to all our friends about making a card in November. I hope I will be [Vergil] Ortiz against shoes [Ennis]- said Alalshikh to Ring magazine.

November riyadh card

  • Moses Itauma vs. Martin Bakole
  • Jaron Ennis vs. Vergil Ortiz Jr.
  • William Zepeda vs. Andy Cruz
  • Christian Milli vs. Lester Martinez

Assuming that Ennis agrees to fight Vergil Jr., it will be a great fight in his debut at the age of 154. The former champion of IBF and WBA should not flow as much as he had when he fought at 147. He will still have to lose weight, but he should not leave him with a skeletal appearance, because he fought with shrimp shrimp.

Tony Bellew Reviews Anthony Joshua's Comeback Victory Over Kristian Prenga After Knockdown Drama

Anthony Joshua may have earned a knockout win over Kristian Prenga but the fight certainly didn’t unfold as most people expected.

Joshua was facing the Albanian in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Saturday, and it looked like a massive upset could be on the cards when he was dropped twice in the opening round.

‘AJ’ was able to recover and went on to secure a second round knockout victory to prevent the shock lossseemingly paving the way for the battle against Tyson Fury later this year.

One man who was ringside to witness the battle was former cruiserweight world champion Tony Bellewand he praised Joshua’s ability to turn things around in the fight after describing it as ‘chaos’.

“We predicted round two but I don’t think we foresaw that. That was chaos. He doesn’t see the uppercut coming and finds himself on the floor without knowing how he got there.

“The second one he did see it coming and he was able to clench down on the jaw. He got up and then the experience that he has he used tonight because he tied him up. Against Andy Ruiz he didn’t know what he was doing and didn’t know how to do that, but tonight he did.

“He showed once again there is no quit. To be that hurt in the first round and get up, that’s the recoveries of power. People talk about your chin, but it’s not, it’s the level of fitness that gets you up from the floor.

“When Joshua gets a fighter hurt he’s the best finisher in the division. Whenever he hurts someone they’re gone. I haven’t seen him drop anybody and they survive, only Andy Ruiz. He’s a ruthless finisher.”

The clash between Joshua and Fury is now expected to be announced soon for later this year, after Fury won his own interim fight on Friday by defeating Mariusz Wach.
