There was a lot of mind games between the couple and it seems that “The destroyer” made the last attempt to gain a psychological advantage.

Eubank suffered the first defeat of his career in 2015, when he was thrown out by Billy Joe Saunders within 12 rounds in the title of British medium weight.

And Saunders said sensationally Ring magazine This afternoon Benn asked that he was checked by Eubank, who wrapped his hands before their clash this weekend.

“Conor Benn asked me to come and see Eubank’s hands to be wrapped. I intend to talk to him to discuss it.

“I would like to see Conor Benn kill him frigid, and if I can aid him, I will do it.

“Surprisingly, I was really in the same hotel as he in London in another week. I moved to him through the window and he drove away the driver.

“The problem is that instead he can now see me on the night of fighting.”

Although the fight of Eubank with Saunders was over ten years ago, there was always a lot of hostility between couples and Saunders’ comments about the desire to see how his antique rival knocked out, he should not be a surprise.

After the drama filled on Friday morning, the 35-year-old receives a fine of $ 500,000 (375,000 pounds) for the missing weight and will be dealing with further penalties, if he passes by a limit of 170 pounds on Saturday morning.

Chris Eubank Jr hit with a huge 426,000 pounds on the day before Conor Benn’s fight

Published

Chris Eubank Jr was hit on a huge fine of 426,000 pounds for weighing firmation above the 160 pounds weight limit for his very anticipated fight with Conor Bennem. The boxer will pay a mega price for the lack of a inheritance below the strict limit for official weighing.

Eubank maintained that everyone was waiting for about an hour before he got to the scales. Benn, who jumps two weight divisions to face his fierce rival, weighed 156.4 pounds, almost four pounds under the mass border. However, when Eubank finally arrived at his own weighing, he first entered 160.2 pounds. With the second attempt, its weight was 160.05 pounds. The 35-year-old will pay a fine of 426,000 pounds for not meeting this requirement, a clause inserted into a battle contract.

Cameras were not allowed in official weighing, but the ceremonial counterpart will take place later that evening. Boxers who have many times had to be separated during the accumulation will fight tomorrow at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.

Eubank Jr and Benn will enter the scales again tomorrow around 8 am, less than 12 hours before the meeting at the famed premiere. No warrior can come at a speed of over 170 pounds in the morning with the hydration clause, and Eubank Jr revealed that he would receive a fine of 750,000 pounds if he did.

Benn, fighting with a lot of his career at a weight level of 147 pounds, said that it is easier to achieve weight. In his last fight, a unanimous decision about points on Peter Dobson in February 2024. The 28-year-old weighed just over 150 pounds.

The fight takes place three years after planning the original date. However, Benn obtained a positive result in terms of forbidden substance and was removed only to fight in Great Britain in November last year. The assembly was combined with brutal throwing over his career at fiery press conferences, and Eubank Jr broke the egg in the face of a rival in February.

This prompted his father, Chris Eubank SR, to call for his disqualification.

Both of their fathers, Eubank SR and Nigel Benn, were very successful boxers and divided the infamous competition in the 1990s. Eubank SR won their original fight by TKO in 1990, before three years later they hit a draw.

The Eubank SR boxing icon criticized the labeling of the upcoming event as a “older fight”, insisting that he does not want any connection with the actions of both warriors. Speaking with the sun, the 58-year-old said: “So my son breaks the egg on Conor’s face. Do you want me to be associated? This is what you call her heritage? This is not a heritage. This is not a heritage. This is not a heritage. [action] draws in the boxing game that she would have [had] Disqualifying the effect in my time.

“Nobody differs from Conor. The man says as if he was a drunk drunk. From the boxing point of view, and the fighters here (Groves and Eubank) actually supported it if the junior fights only three times in three years, and if Conor fought only three times in three years, it’s sizzling air.”

Chris Eubank SR’s Feud with Son explained and why he wants to cancel Conor Benn Fight

Published

on

Chris Eubank SR did not hide his opposition to his son’s fight with Conor Bennem on Saturday, calling for a showdown to scrap. After playing an instrumental role in the development of Chris Eubanka Jr in a square circle, Eubank’s senior Eubank was once a ubiquitous presence in the Junior’s Corner corner, issuing advice and using his extensive experience from his own time as a two -time world champion.

However, from 2019 he was noticeably absent in his son’s boxer’s career. Thinking about dynamics with the father, said Eubank Jr Mirror fight Last year: “There is no role that is quite crazy, because for a huge part of my career he was a huge part of everything, the business side, press conferences, training … He was always there, and now he is not on any of them.”

Delving into the reasons for moving away from the influence of my father, the 35-year-old added: “I had to make this passage. I had to get out of this cycle because I felt that it did not work and as my own man, I learned enough and did enough in the game to walk my own path and not follow someone else.

“At the moment he has problems with separating business, boxing and coaching from being only my dad. For so many reasons that he was my dad, so when there is no, he doesn’t know what to do, that’s what he is dealing with.

“I think it will take me from boxing to come back to my life. I hope it is not, but I see it. I appreciate everything he did and everything he taught me throughout my life and career, but I want to be my man and that’s what I do now.”

The death of brother Eubanka Jra, Sebastian, in 2021 “also destroyed a gigantic role” of the already tense relationship of Pugilist with his father. Sebastian died in 2021 after a heart attack in Dubai, and Eubank Jr told the breast of Morgan, as it influenced his relationship with his dad.

He said: “You have a situation when my brother leaves. It influenced him deeply – it affected us all. Mental health is true. This incident, combined with the fact that we have not seen the eye anymore, destroyed a gigantic part of the relationship. And it still does not seem to recover.”

Meanwhile, the decision of Eubank Jr to continue her family’s legacy by facing Benn, like the eminent feud of their fathers in the 90s, did not succumb to Eubank Srowik, and now the 58-year-old won the title of WBO Middle Humidly after defeating Nigel Benn by the ninth round of TKO in 1990.

However, the disapproval of Eubank SR does not result from their historical competition, but from a significant difference in weight class between his son and Nigel. Because most of the Eubank JR career spent in Middle Wweight and Benn’s reputation grow in the category of lighter welterweight, there is a significant difference in size.

The upcoming fight on Saturday will take place in 160 pounds, with a strict hydration clause that forbids or a boxer gaining over 10 pounds before the night of fighting, but Eubank SR still has powerful fears. He said: “The rules are that you don’t do the wrong weight.

“Weights are fighting for the same weights.” He added: “They break the rules. And when you break the rules, we have a country of peacocks. It’s Great Britain. We have developed boxing. So stick to the rules.”

Despite the emotional branch of olives from Eubank Jr, it seems unlikely that his dad participates in his fight on Saturday evening. Elsewhere at Morgan’s uncertainty, he insisted: “I am here. I am preparing for the biggest fight in my life.

“If you want to be next to me, like his father next to him, we can do it together. If not, without massive feelings, I will do a job for you – do not worry about it. He is my vintage man. It does not matter if I only talk to him only on the day I die. I will always love him. He taught me everything. He doesn’t want to fight.”

Recently, there has been positive achievements in their rocky relationship, meeting at the party’s fight last month. Eubank SR said at that time Ring magazine: “The moment was significant. I love my son, just like I love all my children.

“Seeing him again, I could say that he grew up. On his face there is wisdom and an attitude that was not before. No matter what happened, I will always have JR back.”
