Adrien Broner’s streaming has been rocked by another theft allegation just weeks after the former four-weight world champion’s financial situation appeared to be stabilizing outside boxing.
Broner and Deen The Great’s Kick’s collaboration was rocky from the start, mainly because the boxer had been drinking almost every day since they started streaming together.
There were outbursts, tensions rose, and Broner always looked vulnerable to making another mistake after openly admitting he was broke despite earning around $5 million for the 2019 fight against Manny Pacquiao and millions more over the rest of his career.
There have already been some real flashpoints between the pair, but Deen has mostly managed to overcome the chaos as their chemistry has become one of the biggest reasons why the streams have started trending online.
Adrien Broner and Deen Great conflict
The latest brawl is a earnest blow to Broner.
As social media clips and reactions to the live streams surfaced online this week, Broner was accused of accepting money related to the streaming setup, leading to Deen publicly cutting ties with the Cincinnati player.
Broner has denied committing a crime.
The situation immediately brought back memories of previous allegations against Broner, including his name appearing in a 2025 federal RICO complaint related to alleged rigged craps games involving NBA players.
As WBN previously reported, Broner was accused in the complaint of receiving millions of players through loaded craps games, although the former champion was never charged.
The latter situation appears to be on a much smaller scale, but online reactions followed a familiar pattern whenever Broner became involved in a money-related controversy.

Broner and Deen Hope
Ironically, the switch to streaming was starting to look like one of the smartest decisions Broner had made in years.
After openly admitting that he had difficulty staying motivated following the death of longtime coach Mike Stafford, Broner seemed to rediscover some direction by streaming alongside Deen.
WBN recently revealed that Broner reportedly earned at least $65,000 in just one month from broadcasts during which he discussed plans to launch his own channel, Kick.
Despite the constant partying, drinking and content chaos, the setup at least seemed to provide Broner with structure, visibility and, once again, a steady income.
The pair continued to share commitments despite the setbacks, and even appeared on a “20 Women Vs” segment less than 24 hours after Deen announced their split.
Now there is hope that the situation can be fixed again, after Broner reportedly told Deen that things were going too well for the pair to fight over money.
The bigger issue at this point is whether Broner has already found another way to sabotage his own escape route now that life outside the ring has finally calmed down.

“Shakur is 140 pounds, man. Shakur is not 147 pounds. You know I’m mandatory at 147 pounds. So I don’t know why people even entertained Shakur when he got to 147 pounds. He’s not 147 pounds,” Keyshawn told InsideRingShow.
“He can still fight at the age of 35. So his weight class is present in his boxing for a reason. And I am mandatory at 147.”
Although Keyshawn and Shakur have repeatedly stated that they would not fight each other due to their friendship, Keyshawn rejected the notion that they coordinated their pursuit of Haney.
“No. Hell no. No, no.”
The comments come after Haney publicly expressed his desire to face Stevenson at the 144-pound catchweight division, potentially putting another fight in front of Davis’ shot at the WBO welterweight title.
Keyshawn, however, has made it clear that Haney remains his preferred target.
“I just feel like it’s a huge fight for me in my career. I just feel like it’s a dramatic fight,” Davis said.
“It’s just me moving up to 147 pounds and I feel like me and Devin, we had some history that was going back and forth. So I thought it was time to target them and try to get that fight,” Keyshawn said.
If a fight with Haney cannot be secured, Davis indicated that former WBO welterweight champion Brian Norman Jr. would be a viable alternative.
“Yeah, for sure. I told my guys to contact Brian Norman and the next day I was mandatory, but yeah, I’m fighting with Brian,” Keyshawn said.
Davis made it clear he had no intention of quietly stepping aside amid mounting speculation about Haney’s next opponent.
Hamzah Sheeraz is hoping to secure a shot at Canelo Alvarez in 2027, but the Mexican has made it clear what the Briton needs to do to make that fight happen.
If Canelo regains the WBC title, Sheeraz plans to make Canelo’s regular appearances on Cinco De Mayo in a bid to potentially unify the 168-pound division, planning to announce himself as the super middleweight he will defeat by defeating the division’s poster boy.
However, talking to DAZN BoxingCanelo stated that if Sheeraz wants to face him, he should try to unify the belts with newly crowned IBF world champion Osleys Iglesias to encourage him to take part in the proposed fight.
“I’ve never checked it [potential fights with Hamzah Sheeraz or Osleys Iglesias]. I think they have to fight each other and then I will choose the winner. It’s the smartest thing they can do.
“At some point we all have to earn what we deserve, right? They have to earn it [a fight with me]why not? That’s why I say they have to [fight each other] and I’m not saying they don’t deserve it.
“They deserve it, that’s why they’re there as champions, number one or whatever.
“But they have to fight each other and then, after my fight, we will see.”
Sheeraz is expected to reappear next month, but it won’t be against Iglesias, whose promoter believes the Briton is uninterested in any fight in that role.
TIME revealed the inauguration TIME100 Sports List On June 9, 100 figures recognized by the magazine as the most influential people shaping the global sports landscape were honored. Among those honored was Amanda Serrano, one of only three combat sports figures on the list, alongside undisputed heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and UFC CEO Dana White.
According to a statement from Most Valuable Promotions, Serrano is the only female combat athlete to be named to the inaugural list. In his career, which began in 2009, Serrano won world titles in seven weight categories.
Serrano responds to honor
In a statement released via MVP, Serrano addressed the recognition and the broader issue she has associated with her career.
“Being named to TIME’s inaugural TIME100 Sports list is an incredible honor. Throughout my career, I have always wanted to prove that women’s boxing is one of the biggest stages in sports and that women fighters deserve the same opportunities, visibility and respect as men,” Serrano said.
Jake Paul points to the MVP role
Jake Paul, who co-founded MVP with Nakisa Bidarian in 2021 and promotes Serrano, reacted to the news on X.
I said it in my documentary and I’ll say it again: being a part of getting Amanda Serrano the recognition she deserves is one of my greatest achievements in life. Congratulations to Amanda on being named to Time’s 100 Most Influential People in Sports for the first time.
Serrano’s profile skyrocketed thanks to her rivalry with Katie Taylor. Their first meeting in April 2022 headlined Madison Square Garden and was the first women’s fight to top the bill at the venue. The pair fought three times, with Taylor winning each match, the last one taking place in July 2025.
TIME’s inaugural sports issue features a worldwide cover featuring LeBron James. The full TIME100 competition list will appear in the June 22, 2026 issue, which hits newsstands on July 12.
