Oleksandr Usyk calls Tyson Fury a “greedy belly” again.

“Hi brother, I’m ready every time. I’m ready for Las Vegas, Modern York, Saudi Arabia, everything.

“Come on! The greedy belly is my friend,” Usyk laughed in the video posted by Turki Alalshikh.

Speculation about Fury immediately arose in the comments as Usyk made no direct mention of his upcoming fight with Rico Verhoeven on May 23 in Egypt.

This fight is widely viewed as a major mismatch considering Usyk’s boxing achievements compared to Verhoeven’s constrained professional boxing experience, despite his kickboxing success.

Usyk and Fury have already fought twice, with Usyk winning both fights. Still, another meeting between the two would likely bring in a lot of money due to the commercial success and interest surrounding their rivalry.

Fury is also expected to face Anthony Joshua later this year after both heavyweights fought preparatory fights over the summer months.

The way Usyk mentioned Fury in the clip seemed to be an implicit signal that he still wanted a third fight, even though he already had two wins over him. Usyk had previously named Fury, Verhoeven and the winner of the Wardley-Dubois fight as the last three opponents he wanted before retiring.

Since Usyk has already defeated Daniel Dubois twice, including on a stoppage in 2023, it is unclear whether he is actually interested in facing him again. Some fans believe Usyk may have expected Fabio Wardley to beat Dubois before finalizing his retirement plan.

A third fight with Fury would likely generate much more interest and revenue around the world than another meeting with Dubois at this stage.

Devin Haney predicts Canelo Alvarez vs. Christian Mbilla fight: ‘She’ll be there for him’

Devin Haney predicts Canelo Alvarez vs Christian Mbilli: “He will be right there for him”

After losing his undisputed super middleweight crown, Canelo Alvarez is set to return to an immediate title fight with newly crowned WBC ruler Christian Mbilli, and Devin Haney has shared his thoughts on how he thinks the fight will go.

Canelo became the two-time undisputed 168-pound champion last May, but four months later he lost all his titles to Terence Crawford in a unique fight on the 2025 boxing calendar.

Alvarez was injured in that contest and has been on the bench ever since, and his opponent was Cameroonian-born Christian Mbilli, who returned after “Solide” was elevated to the WBC world title earlier this year.

I’m talking to Inside the RingHaney explained why he believes Mbilli is “tailor-made” for the Mexican superstar and will not be a test for the Mexican four-division world champion.

“I think he’s a guy who will step forward and be there for Canelo to let go and do his typical stuff.

“I think it will be straightforward, he is made for Canelo. Him [Mbilli] he’s standing right in front of you.

“Even if Canelo stumbled a little bit, I don’t think Mbilli would be the one to take advantage of that. I think it’s a tailor-made fight for Canelo to go in there and look good and look like he’s come back and been reincarnated. I don’t think Mbilli is testing him at all.”

Alvarez vs. fight Mbilli will take place on Saturday, September 12 in Riyad, Saudi Arabia.

Tyson Fury says Dubois’ win over Wardley proves one thing about Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury says Dubois’ win over Wardley proves one thing about Anthony Joshua

Tyson Fury has taken an compelling stance following the epic heavyweight fight between Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley.

Dubois recovered from two early knockdowns and stopped Wardley in the 11th round and win the WBO heavyweight title, becoming a two-time world champion in the process.

“DDD” was previously the IBF champion, where he scored a fifth-round knockout victory over Anthony Joshua at Wembley Stadium in September 2024.

Posting on social mediaFury has now compared the two fights, believing that Dubois’ performance against Wardley, as well as some of his other recent performances, raises question marks over Joshua’s chin after being dropped several times by “DDD”.

“Well, I was sitting here thinking after Dubois’ unbelievable fight last night. Dubois fought Massive Baby Miller, stopped him, but never knocked him down.

“Then he fought Hrgovic, stopped him, but never knocked him down. Last night he fought Wardley in an unbelievable fight, stopped him and never knocked him down. He hit Usyk with some substantial bombs, never knocked him down. And yet he fights Anthony Joshua and takes him to the floor five times.

“I’m not saying Anthony Joshua is chinless, but those are the facts. Take it however you want and however you want. No one else has ever given up, not one person, Massive Baby Miller, Hrgovic, Usyk or Wardley, but Joshua falls five times. Chinny!”

Fury is expected to face Joshua in a highly anticipated clash later this year, provided “AJ” defeats Kristian Prenga for the first time in July, and “The Gypsy King” also appears to have a fight in the interim.

“Clown Dawg”

“Clowns damn you all say and do everything 😂 We blocked LOADING CHAMPIONS 2 WEIGHT UNIFIED #ANDTHENEW on June 27,” Ennis wrote on Twitter X.

The undefeated former welterweight champion is increasing his weight after compiling a 35-0 record with 31 knockouts at 147 pounds. A victory over Zayas would make Ennis the unified second division champions.

Ennis didn’t mention specific people in his post, but much of the online discussion around him lately has centered around comparisons to Terence Crawford and the debate over whether the two should have fought earlier in their careers.

The discussion about Crawford continues

Fans who reacted to Ennis’ post were quick to turn the discussion back to the retired 38-year-old Crawford, with some urging Ennis to continue this fight after the Zayas fight.

Crawford previously dismissed comparisons between himself and Ennis, responding to the praise directed at the Philadelphia player.

Despite the outside chatter, Ennis has made it clear that his attention is on June 27 and the chance to immediately become the unified 154-pound titleholder.

“Loading champions with unified weight 2,” Ennis wrote.

The fight with Zayas will be Ennis’ biggest fight since leaving the welterweight division and moving up to bigger fights in the junior middleweight division.

The fight also has major implications for the future of the junior middleweight division, as Ennis immediately became one of the biggest names in the 154-pound division after his victory over Zayas.

A victory would likely boost pressure on future fights involving Crawford and other top fighters who already compete in the division or are planning moves there.

For now, Ennis says his attention is entirely on Zayas and the chance to leave Brooklyn with unified second-league stripes.
