The featherlight champion of WBC Shakur Stevenson received the widely unknown Josh Padley on Saturday in Saudi Arabia. Stevenson was to fight Floyd Schofield before Schofield had to give up the fight because of his illness. 15-0 Padley then struggled outside the miniature notification. The question, of course, was whether Padley could give 22-0 Stevenson a real fight.

Southpaw Stevenson dominated the first with his excellent set of skills. Stevenson began to land in the second. Although Padley certainly did not turn out to be amateur, the defending master was able to launch some angular combinations in the third. Being defensive by nature Shakur was not one of them. Despite this, the fourth, it seemed that Stevenson was working on winning in space.

The fifth was a tardy, silent romance. However, Stevenson worked well on the body at the end. Then he shot Padley’s head in front of the bell. Padley, at his own discretion, fired with bad intentions. Until six, Stevenson looked like he was working on ending the fight. However, he did not hurt his man, which could disappoint some fans. Still, Stevenson showed extraordinary skills.

Stevenson’s hand seemed to be hurt in seventh place. Although he looked keen in eighth place, it seemed that Stevenson’s hand would prevent the early end of the fight. It wasn’t like that.

In the ninth place, when it seemed that the fight would run a distance, Padley was dropped with a shot. He got up, but the second shot from the body put him away again. Padley got up for the second time, but the fight was almost finished. Indeed, Stevenson put down his man for the third time before the end of the round. Padley’s corner, seeing enough, threw a towel, giving Stevenson his early victory.

The fight on Saturday is scheduled for 12 rounds of the championship. The first round was not explosive, but both men looked piercing when they maneuver to the advantage. The second saw Madrimov successfully moved around the Ring in the style of Herky-Herky.

Ortiz still persecuted his man in the third, and until the fourth he was able to start landing on his man. He was still able to reach Madrimov on the fifth. Until six, it was clear that the fight was less a barge burner than a chess match – not that it was a bad thing. Both men followed the plans of the game, and the fight was very close to that moment. And indeed the match remained close in seventh place. In fact, ORTiz clearly pressed the action. Madrimov was true, but he no longer kept the ortho distance.

In the eighth place Madrimov moved effectively, but he had to throw more. Then Ortiz worked quite effectively in ninth place. Madrimov began to be dominated by his definite enemy. In the tenth of the matter, it warmed up because Madrimov clearly decided that his plan was not working. It was the most stimulating chapter of the fight. Aggressive Madrimov did well in eleventh. Ortiz fought effectively, but it was clear that he was fighting now.

In the last round, the high octane performances of both men will shrink. Each warrior said badly as minutes, and then the seconds ended. After the last bell, the judges ruled in favor of Ortiz by the results 117-11, 115-113, 115-113. Ortiz was then able to leave the ring with the momentary WBC title still in its possession.

Paddy Donovan hopes that the victory over Lewis Crocker will shot the world championship title

Paddy Donovan, a welterweight claimant, enjoys games before the fight with Lewis Crocker, with whom he will face in the 12-Rund at 1 March at the SSE Arena in Belfast, North Ireland.

When a press conference occurred, it was not surprising that Limerick, Ireland Donovan had a trick to surprise his 28-year-old opponent.

“He is known from the abbreviation of his name, croc. So they call him a crocodile – 26 -year -old Donovan said Boxingscene about his opponent. “One day I and Andy were in the gym and I said that I could wear a crocodile Dundee hat or something.”

The conversation with his trainer and former warrior Andy Lee led to the appearance of Donovan in an outfit more suitable for Halloween than at a press conference. In a sense, it calmed down his mind.

“In this sport he has many mental games. There are many people who get the advantage. Do you see the enemy’s weakness? Do you see how a little crumble is? “Donovan, 26 years elderly and 14-0 (11 KO), he said. “I try to change my personality to a press conference and not show my cards.”

Donovan explained that you can learn a lot at a press conference. The behavior and temperament of the warrior can be seen on the full display. These are things he is trying to hide. Training in Saudi Arabia with his coach Lee, who also trains the heavyweight of Joseph Parker, Donovan perceives this as a fight for the next level as the beginning of better things.

“It may not be a fight for a breakthrough, but it is a fight that if I can go from Irish Godda to world-famous in the welterweight ward, it would be great,” said Donovan. “He puts us in a position that we both could only dream about. Eddie Hearn spoke about the world title IBF and how free he would be and bring him to Ireland for the winner. There are many on the line. “

The IBF welterweight title is currently owned by Jaron “Boots” Ennis. Ennis will unite on April 12 in Philadelphia against Eimantas Stanionis. Donovan is currently fifth according to IBF. Donovan believes that Belfast’s Crocker, 20-0 (11 KO) is not confident.

“I think the deeply Crocker knows he can’t beat me,” Donovan said. “I think he tried to put it on me for a few rounds, but deep in my soul I don’t think he will have what you need to beat me. I think he knows that I can do absolutely everything he can do and the things I can do, he certainly can’t do. “

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – Dmitriry Bivol said he would consider moving to the circuitous weight after defeating Artur Beterbaver to become the undisputed world champion in massive weight.

Bivol overtook Beterbiev 114-114, 116-112 and 115-113 to win because of the majority decision and apply for WBA, WBC, WBO and IBF titles in Riyadh in a pulsing rematch.

While their initial fight was more technical, Bivol quickly started in the opening rounds on Saturday, when he tried to catch his opponent. Beterbiev joined in round 5 and achieved his own success, using amazing leg work to force Bivol back.

However, Bivol maintained more energy during the fight, jumping in every respect to frustrate Beterbaiew and free powerful combinations on the head and body.

This created a captivating fight that was moving at a elated pace.

When Bivol made his decision, thoughts soon turned to what would happen next.

From Turka Alalshikh, Saudi Arabia Boxing Booker, signaling three fingers to Beterbaview, who said: “We intend to do the third fight”, the trilogy looks inevitable.

However, at a press conference after the fight, Bivol said that he had nothing against what would happen next and suggested that he could raise the weight.

“I think December will be amazing, maybe earlier. I don’t have any preferences now, to be sincere. What people want to see, “said Bivol.

“Maybe we could talk about the crucial scale. I will also think about why not. I have belts here [at light heavyweight]. I have to check the cruiser weight. Why not?”

There are many tempting options for Bivol, which was associated with the fighting with David Benavidez and the rematch with Canelo Alvarez.

With 24 rounds between them within four months, both Bivol and Beterbiev are to take off. Bivol also revealed that he is fighting the problems of the elbow and the lower back in the camp.

“I am open to every fight, but today I want to enjoy that I am the undisputed champion,” he said. “I want to take care of my health because I have some problems.

“I want to cure myself and then move on again. Trilogy, Benavides, Canelo … As always, I’m just waiting for the offer, and then I say so. “
