This movement is based on already forceful relations between TKO, the Sports Committee Utah and Smith Entertainment Group, which successfully hosted three more sold out UFC events at Delta Center:

• UFC 278: Usman vs. Edwards 2 (2022)
• UFC 291: Poirier vs. Gaethje 2 (2023)
• UFC 307: Pereira vs. Rountree Jr. (2024)

Together these events generated combined $ 74.1 million of economic influence According to research used in Salt Lake City.

WWE will take over Salt Lake City Nights at the back of this fall:

• Friday evening Smackdown – October 31, 2025
• Main event on Saturday evening – November 1, 2025 (Streaming Live on Peacock at 19:00 et / 16:00 Fri)
