“Worth Every Penny” – Chris Eubank Jr reacts to Conor Benn Fine
Chris Eubank Jr is seemingly indifferent to the sturdy fine he received for hitting Conor Benn.
Eubank Jr was fined in the amount of £ 100,000 by the British boxing council [BBBofC] On Tuesday, after he hit Benna on his face with an egg at the first press conference last month to promote the captivation match of April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium.
Responding to the decision of the board, the 35-year-old published X: “It’s worth every penny.”
In the statement, the management board said: “After the interrogation before the manager of the British boxing council, Chris Eubank Jr proved to be violated by Regulation 25 (incorrect proceedings) for his behavior at a press conference in Manchester for the Chris Eubank Jr competition against Conor Benn on April 26, 2025.
“As such, the managers of the management board punished Chris Eubank Jr the sum of 100,000 pounds.”
MAN BRIGHTON, Ben Shalom, claims that his warrior has no “choice, as soon as he canceled” the verdict.
Eubank JR decision about hitting his rival’s egg is a reference to WBC restoring Benn to their rankings after two unsuccessful drug tests, which postponed at the original meeting of October 2022.
. WBC ruled The fact that “highly golden eating eggs” was “a reasonable explanation of an unfavorable discovery, although Benn himself did not accept it as a reason for unsuccessful tests and since then he protested against his innocence.
The “destroyer” was raised by the suspension by the National Anti -Doping Panel in November and a re -request is expected for his British license on time to fight after positive drug tests come.
Talking with Boxing fans After the second press conference last month, Benn believed that his rival should be fined in the amount of 10 times the amount given to him by the management board.
“I think he should get a million pounds for a hit,” said the 28-year-old.

The original Eubank JR-Lin meeting was to take place in recalling 157 pounds, but their April Showdown will be questioned by 160 pounds, with a rehydration clause with a capacity of 10 pounds.

Jaron Ennis is the bookmakers’ main favorite to defeat Xander Zayas in their highly anticipated world title clash on Saturday in Brooklyn.
Ennis challenges Zayas for the WBO and WBA super welterweight belts at the Barclays Center live on DAZN pay-per-view.

On Wednesday, Lewis Crocker heads to Australia to defend his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro for the first time.
Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.
Crocker (22-0, 11 KO) became world champion in September, defeating Paddy Donovan twice before winning the rematch by split decision.
Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.
Paro (27-1, 16 KO) is trying to become a world champion in two weight categories, having previously reigned in the super-lightweight division.
The 30-year-old won the title with a unanimous decision victory over Subriel Matias in Puerto Rico before winning the belt in his first defense against Richardson Hitchins.
