Las Vegas, Nevada – The CEO of LFA, Ed Soares, announced today that the promotion will start a busy summer season in Up-to-date York with the championship at LFA 211. In the main event the title of WWASTAWIGHT WOMEN BANDAWIGHT will be on the line. LFA 211 will be the ninth event of LFA, which will take place in Empire.
LFA 211: Mesquita vs. Dinwoodie, presented by Monster EnergyIt takes place on Friday, June 20 at Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino in Salamanca, Up-to-date York, which is located 15 miles from the border from Pennsylvania in West Up-to-date York. In the main event there will be a fight for the title Bantam in a female weight, when the 10-time world champion Jiu-Jitsu Bia Mesquita will face the best invincible Canadian perspective Sierra Dinwoodie. The entire main card will be available all over the world UFC Fight Pass® at 21:00 et / 6 pm
“We are glad that we can bring women’s championship in Up-to-date York in LFA 211,” said Soares. “We have an amazing base of fans, which participates in our events in Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino, which is a world-class place in Up-to-date York. The place will be the host of the two best women in the world who will compete for our will for our will 135-pound title. Bia Mesquita is the greatest female of all Jiu-Jitsu, and Brazilian. Dinwoodie for the empty title of the WWaws WWaws champion in the battle for undefeated perspectives.
Tickets for LFA 211: Mesquita vs. Dinwoodie can be bought through Ticketmaster.com.
Mesquita (4-0) returns to the LFA octagon after making the most anticipated transition to MMA of any perspective in 2024. The Brazilian phenomenon began to train Jiu-Jitsu at the age of 5. At the age of 10, Brazilian National Championships won, three state championships and several other main tour. After receiving the black belt from the legend of Jiu-Jitsu Leticia Ribeiro fourteen years ago, Mesquita would start the career of the black belt, which would get her nickname “Bjj Lady Goat (the greatest of all time). She achieved this, becoming the only person who won 10 gold medals, which is a record for the most IBJJF World Championship titles Black belt.
Mesquita went to MMA last year, the debut of LFA and American Soil, which will appear in LFA 194. The sensation of Jiu-Jitsu showed her world-class grippers, folding Shannel Butler in the first round of their attractions. Then Mesquita quickly returned, competing in the co-main event during the event at the end of the LFA year at LFA 198. Mesquita would submit a Brazilian veteran Fernanda Araujo to give her three wins with a rear choke in her first three MMA duels. Fans, in turn, voted for her 2024 LFA FAN’s Choice Awards: Famel Fighter of the Year. Mesquita quickly showed why fans love her with another championship performance in Las Vegas against Hope Chase on LFA 203. The Brazilian dominated in battle before Chase threw the illegal Ustkick, which caused Mesquit’s disqualification.
Dinwoodie (4-0) will be a woman waiting for Mesquit when LFA is preparing to crown her third master Bantam in Bantam on the first day of summer. The best undefeated Canadian grew up in British Columbia in West Canada, but now he calls Ontario Home. The Canadian province shares the border with the state of Up-to-date York and Canadian fans, and the media have been fully strength in the last two wins of Dinwoodie, which took place in the LFA octagon. The first took place last year, when she also defeated the world champion Hope Chase 20 times.
Chase is the only previous opponent (and victory), which Dinwoodie divides with Mesquita, but it was the second of her two LFA wins, which is perhaps the most compelling. This win was with another best prospect of Bantam in Nikol Aguirre on LFA 202, which entered the fight with a lot of noise because of the black lane of Jiu-Jitsu, an undefeated record and knowledge of Mesquita. In fact, Aguirre loudly faced Mesquit with winning, but Dinwoodie quickly put an end to this conversation with the decisive victory with the best base warrior.
The victory of Dinwoodie over Aguirre made more than derailing a possible MMA fight between the senior rivals of Jiu-Jitsu, showed the world that a 5-meter, 11-inch specimen is a complete warrior. She was able to overtake the world champion of Karate 20 times in LFA 177, and then sold out the black Jiu-Jitsu belt at LFA 202. It was enough to convince LFA brass that she was ready to become the sixth Canadian woman in LFA history to fight for the world title. Five previous Canadian women are Loopy Godinez, Jamey-Lyn Horth, Ashley Nichols, Melissa Croden and Shannon Clark. Godinez, Horth and Clark won the titles, but Dinwoodie would become the first Canadian who won the title of champion Bantamwight in LFA with victory.
