The World Boxing Council aroused earnest concerns about the growth of the bare and unregulated combat events, especially with the participation of former professional boxers.
Veterans Paulie Malignaggi and Alfredo Angulo belong to those who took part in the bare attacks since they went from boxing. “This situation is disturbing. There must be medical rules and regulations to protect the integrity of fighters who are the most crucial.”
WBC warning appears after Fernando Garza, a participant in the controversial secret combat league, publicly demanded assist in medical research due to decreasing health, increasing the alarm over physical, unregulated fighting, accepts sensitive fighters.
