Las Vegas – Fightbook MMA has weighing results UFC Vegas 105: Emmett vs. Murphy It aims to electrifying the night of mixed martial arts on April 5, 2025 at the UFC top in Enterprise, Nevada. The main event is a fascinating fight against a featherweight between the 8th position of Josh Emmett and the invincible No. 10 in the Lerone Murphy ranking.

This event will be broadcast on ESPN, ESPN Deportes and ESPN+ (both in English and Spanish). The initial card starts at 15:00 PT / 6 PM et, followed by the main card at 18.00 pt / 9 pm et.

Main event: Josh Emmett vs. Lerone Murphy

Josh Emmett (16-5), fighting with Sacramento in California, returns to Octagon after winning in the first round over Bryce Mitchell at UFC 296 at the end of 2023, known for his knockout power, Emmett ensured significant victories against leading opponents, such as Calvin Kattar and Michael Johnson. Striving to break into the top five of the pen scale division, Emmett tries to stop the invincible Murphy series with another finish from the attractions.

Lerone Murphy (15-0-1), from Manchester in England, remains invincible in his professional career. Murphy demonstrated his efficiency in the 145-pound division with victories over Dan IgE, Edson Barboza and Joshua Culibao. Now he wants to add Emmett to his list of conquered enemies and continue the hill in the rankings of a featherweight.

A joint collaborator: Pat Sabatini vs. Joanderson brito

At the co–Maan event, Pat Sabatini (19-5) and Joanderson Brito (17-4-1) are to collide. Sabatini, decorated with a mixed artist fighting with black belts in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Tang Soo to, won victories over Jonathan Pearce, Lucas Almeida and Jamall Emmers. Brito, winner of the contract with a series of players Dana White of Manaus in Brazil, impressed by winnings against Diego Lopes, Jacek Shore and Andre Fili. Both warriors are aimed at making a statement and climbing a featherweight ladder.

UFC 330 weigh-in video: Makhachev vs. Machado Garry

At the UFC 330 weigh-ins, all 24 fighters on Saturday's UFC fight card step on the scale Friday morning in Philadelphia. Watch full highlights of the official weigh-ins above.

In the main event, MMA Fighting's No. 1 Pound-for-Pound fighter Islam Makhachev goes for the first defense of his welterweight title as he takes on challenger Ian Machado Garry. Makhachev looks for another championship victory after previously defending the lightweight title a UFC record four consecutive times, while Garry brings a 10-1 UFC record into the contest.

Both fighters need to weigh 170 pounds or less for the title fight.

In the co-main event, strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern defends her belt against Gillian Robertson. Dern won a vacant title in the absence of Zhang Weili with a unanimous decision win over Virna Jandiroba at UFC 321 and she can strengthen her claim to being the true 115-pound champion with a win over Robertson, who can become the first Canadian woman ever to win UFC gold.

Both fighters need to weigh 115 pounds or less for the title fight.

The rules state it can only focus on ONE body part or internal organ. For example only one leg, arm, eye, hand etc. And it cannot be akin to a weapon. So you can’t have a laser eye. That would just be mad lad!

Diego Lopes announces lightweight move, 'advanced talks' for UFC return

UFC fan favorite Diego Lopes will make the full-time move to the lightweight division after his latest win at UFC Freedom 250.

Former UFC featherweight title challenger Diego Lopes is in a bizarre spot in the 145-pound title picture after suffering two losses to current titleholder Alexander Volkanovski. Despite making a strong case for a title shot with an impressive come-from-behind knockout against Steve Garcia at the White House, Lopes would likely have to win a few fights before making the case for another shot at the belt.

Lopes, who lost back-to-back title fights to Volkanovski, has also earned recent featherweight wins over Jean Silva and Brian Ortega. But Lopes is big for the featherweight division and has teased a potential move to lightweight for months.

Amidst his peculiar spot in the featherweight division, Lopes is taking matters into his own hands and making the move to lightweight.

Diego Lopes announces full-time move to lightweight, hoping for MSG return

In a recent interview with Ag.Fight, Lopes shared an update on his return to the Octagon.

“We're taking the leap in our career now; we're going up a division, in advanced talks,†Lopes said.

“We're hoping to fight at MSG in November.â€

One potential lightweight opponent is BMF titleholder Charles Oliveira, who was rumored to fight Arman Tsarukyan at UFC 331 before pulling out of recent fight talks. Oliveira's teammate Allan Nascimento's tragic death leaves a timeline for the BMF champion's return to the Octagon unclear.

Lopes hasn't fought at lightweight in his UFC tenure, although he fought in a 165-pound catchweight bout against Dan Ige at UFC 303. He's fought as low as bantamweight during his combat sports career.

As the lightweight division continues to blossom with intriguing matchups for the rest of the year, Lopes' addition opens the door to plenty of possible bookings. We could be weeks away from getting news on Lopes' return to the cage.
