The Polish MMA star has officially found a up-to-date home.

Former KSW champion Tomasz Narkun (21-6) signed with OCTAGON MMA and will make his promotional debut against a top German rival Aleksander Popek (20-5, 1NC).

The airy heavyweight fight will take place in Szczecin at Octagon 86being the organization’s first-ever event in Poland. The highly anticipated gala will take place on Saturday, April 11 at Enea Arena, during a night that promises to be historic for Polish MMA.

Narkun: a decade of domination

Narkun has long been considered one of the greatest Polish airy heavyweight fighters of all time. Known as “The Giraffe” for his mighty physique and hazardous submission game, he won the KSW Lithe Heavyweight Championship in October 2015 and defended it five times, finishing each challenger before the end of the second round.

During his reign, Narkun scored two victories over the European MMA icon Mamed Khalidov and even moved up to heavyweight in pursuit of dual-division glory, which was a challenge Phil De Fries for the KSW heavyweight champion title.

Now, after three straight victories – achieved in a total of 136 seconds – Narkun arrives at the OCTAGON with momentum and a clear mission: to add another championship to his CV.

Poppeck: German “Ironside” in shambles

Opposite Narkun will be the leading German airy heavyweight fighter Alexander Poppeck.

Nicknamed “Ironside,” Poppeck is currently on a four-fight winning streak and has looked increasingly hazardous over the past year. Known for his knockout power, he stopped opponents such as Jeremy Kimball and Pavol Langer in the first round.

With a stoic demeanor and an imposing presence, Poppeck ventures into hostile territory to silence the Polish hero and establish himself as a legitimate threat to the OKTAGON airy heavyweight title.

LAS VEGAS, Nevada – Legacy Fighting Alliance (LFA) returns to Minnesota for another key night of mixed martial arts action.

LFA president Ed Soares confirmed that the promotion will return to the “Land of 10,000 Lakes” Friday, April 17with stacked fight cards scheduled to take place at the Mystic Lake Casino Hotel.

upcoming event, LFA 231: Trembley vs. Johnspresented by Monster Energy, the main attraction of which will be a fierce featherweight fight between former LFA champion Elijah Johns (10-3) and undefeated prospect from Minnesota Taner Trembley (6-0).

Doors to the event will open at 16:30 local timewith a preliminary card starting at 16:45followed by the main card at 20:00 Fans in the United States can watch the action live on VICE TV at 21:00 ET / 18:00 PT.
