Romero calls Pacquiao and Benavidez: boxing circus?

Rolando “Rolly” Romero sounds desperate this week, calling on 46-year-old manna Pacquiao and a lightweight heavyweight master David Benavidez for the next fight. The newly crowned “ordinary” welterweight champion Romero (17-2, 13 KO) said in social media that he wants “No other fight” But against Pacquiao or Benavidez.

Worse than Canelo-Crawford?

The idea of Romero fighting with WBC and the “ordinary” heavyweight master WBA Benavidez (30-0, 24 KO) is absurd. It would be a circus fight, even worse than the planned clash of Canelo Alvarez from Terenka Crawford.

This is another reason why boxing needs a managing body to prevent this sport in secondary clown sport No rules, anarchyand pure chaos. As you might expect, many livid fans will see Benavidez destroying the unfortunate Rolly in one round on PPV. This would hurt more than a match reminiscent of an exhibition between Canelo and Crawford, which is a classic example of grabbing money without any purpose.

“Me and Pacquiao or me and Benavidez. I don’t want any other fight now,” said Romero Social mediOh, informing his followers that he wants to face Manny Pacquiao or a lightweight heavyweight champion David Benavidez.

It is understandable that fans ridicule Rolly (17-2, 13 KO), describing his indifference as a search for attention, racing movements so that fans noticed him after a nervous win with Ryan Garcia on May 2.

Even at the age of 46, Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KO) would probably be embarrassed by Romero, just like the aging warrior Ismael Barroso in the fight in 2023, before the judge saved him.

Romero Ducks WBA Killers

29-year-old Rolly should focus on defending his secondary WBA belt 147-LB in front of one of the best rivals in rankings, such as No. 1 Shakhram Giyasov. Waiting in the queue for his title shot from WBA and probably jumped on the chance to break the “ordinary” belt from Romero.

Roll seems to be I’m trying to pay After nervously with the passive, disconnected Ryan Garcia at the Turki event Alashikh Times Square on May 2. Ryan showed no interest in fighting Romero, and his confidence seems to be at the lowest level. Romero does not seem to defend his WBA belt against any of the killers, many of whom are not well known, but good enough to potentially beat him. #1 WBA Giyasov would be a nightmare for Rolly.

“The second one he did see it coming and he was able to clench down on the jaw. He got up and then the experience that he has he used tonight because he tied him up. Against Andy Ruiz he didn’t know what he was doing and didn’t know how to do that, but tonight he did.
