The organizers confirmed a stern shock in their “President’s Return” card on August 23 in Lagos, and Idris Affini entered the legendary Ike Ibeabuchi after the withdrawal of the original opponent of Danny Williams.

The change comes only weeks before Ibeabuchi returned to the ring, 25 years after his last professional duel.

Promoters as rewards.

The British heavyweight Williams, who defeated Mike Tyson in 2004, is known from Fighting Way May Feel, and finally left in 2023.

However, dragging the “Brixton bomber” back after he refrained from accepting offers for two years, of course it did not go well.

“Fighting prizes is an extremely perilous sport in which fighters can be seriously injured and always encounter the risk of death. Promotorists rely on the representations of fighters, their managers and trainers while creating duels,” they said.

AFMS is entering

The main event will now be issued by “President” Ibeabuchi (20-0, 15 Kos) against his own Nigeria “Finito” Affini, a two-level veteran who shared the Ring with the title of Olanwaju Durodola, Akani Phuzi and Osman Harun in Africa.

Affini (18-8-2, 15 KO) perceives the fight for the divine opportunity.

“I remember when I was juvenile, my pioneering coach always remembered Ike Ibeabuchi to encourage us. He told us that Ike could have become the largest boxer from Africa, but his career was shortened.

I have to throw my idol now. This is the fight for prizes. This is an opportunity to announce my name to the world. The IKE protruding will change everything in the Afinni Idris Abiodun boxing career. I can’t let it slip. “

Return of the President

Ibeabuchi, currently 52 years, remains invincible and mythical in folklore in hefty weight thanks to his criminal war from 1997 with David Tua. A long prison sentence detained plans to compete for the world championship title.

The Fighting.TV award clearly stated that they want Ibeabuchi to face an equal test.

“We are not here to build stars or records. We believe in blind justice. The best man or woman should win a fight.”

The event will be broadcast live in Pay-Per-View from Lagos on August 23, 2025. Soon, the details of watching are expected, with predicting at night, in which the boxing world never thought: the return of Ike Ibeabuchi to the ring.
