Topuria appears to be on the road back to a full recovery after the beating he suffered at the hands of Justin Gaethje, whereas Paddy Pimblett is ready to finally prove what he's been saying all along – that he is better than his Spanish rival.
In a recent interview, Paddy Pimblett spoke about his future, including a possible Topuria clash.
Paddy Pimblett looks ahead to his future
“I don't know what's happening at the minute,†Pimblett continued. “We're gonna have to find out. My division's, like, all fighters in my division could be booked up. It's looking like it's Charles [Oliveira] versus [Diego] Lopes for the BMF. And then it looks like Arman [Tsarukyan]‘s fighting Justin [Gaethje].â€
“And then there's only Ilia [Topuria] and Max [Holloway] all the way ranked above me. I think Max is fighting for Conor [McGregor], to have that trilogy. So it's only Ilia left, really. So, we'll have to see what happens next few months.â€
“Never fighting in January ever again,†Pimblett declared. “March, April is the — if I don't fight before the end of the year, it'll be March, April.â€
“He's [Topuria] never he's never lost before, so I don't think he'll ever be the same when he comes back,†Pimblett said. “You know, I lost my first fight when I was 18 and I had to build myself back up and then I had to do it again when I was 22, 23. He's never lost before and he's about 27 or something. So his whole aura was ‘unbeatable' and this and that.â€
“Now he's being beat. That's in his head, and I'll prove that if I end up fighting him next.â€

Cejudo doesn't want families to be involved in his ongoing feud
with Brendan
Allen.
Cejudo and Allen are both married to Brazilians. However, the
former
Ultimate Fighting Championship two-division titleholder has
previously criticized Allen for representing Brazil in the Octagon.
Cejudo also slammed Allen for playing it safe when asked about
fighter pay, leading the latter to label the former's podcast
“trash.†Their wives are now seemingly involved in the
back-and-forth.
Henry Cejudo says Brendan Allen's wife sent ‘nasty' messages to
his wife
After Sean
Strickland's latest outburst about UFC fighter pay, Allen was
asked about the same after his win over Christian
Leroy Duncan at
UFC Vegas 122. Allen opted against criticizing the promotion,
drawing a strong response from Cejudo, who now claims the UFC
middleweight's wife has gotten involved in the feud.
Cejudo claims his wife received a “nasty†message from Allen's
wife. The Olympic gold medalist doesn't want their families to be
involved.
“Brendan Allen's wife sent a nasty message to my wife,†Cejudo said
on the “Pound 4 Pound†podcast. “Me and him are both American,
married to Brazilians, and have American kids… She just went off; I

into this. Let men be men.â€
Jaqueline Amorim has been suspended for six months for violating the UFC Anti-Doping Policy.
On Friday, Combat Sports Anti-Doping (CSAD) announced that Amorim had accepted a six-month suspension after testing positive for low levels of ostarine, a prohibited non-Specified Substance in the class of Anabolic Agents. Ostarine was detected in out-of-competition samples collected from Amorim on July 29, 2026, and August 17, 2026, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, with both failed tests being combined into a single violation.
Per CSAD, Amorim fully cooperated with their investigation, and it was determined that Amorim's adverse test results were consistent with exposure to low-level ostarine contamination rather than intentional use. CSAD also noted that the exposure did not provide Amorim “with any significant performance advantage.â€
Amorim's suspension was backdated to Aug. 17, the date she was notified of her test failure and provisional suspension, and expires on Feb. 17, 2027.
Amorim most recently competed at UFC Macau on May 30, where she submitted Loma Lookboonme via first-round armbar.

Nunes.

Kayla Harrison prepares to defend UFC bantamweight title
against Amanda Nunes after neck surgery
Nunes is widely regarded as the greatest female mixed martial
artist of all time. Harrison said she might not have fought again
if Nunes were not her opponent.
“I mean, just to be honest, yeah,†Harrison told Ariel Helwani when
asked if the Nunes fight is the only reason she's returning to
action.
Harrison (19-1) won two
Professional Fighters League lightweight championships before
joining the UFC in 2024. She submitted Julianna
Pena to win the UFC bantamweight title last year. Her first
defense against Nunes (23-5) was scheduled for January, but a neck
injury requiring surgery forced her to withdraw.
Kayla
Harrison admits she ‘probably’ wouldn’t have come back if it
wasn’t for the Amanda
Nunes fight: “Probably. I mean, just to be honest. Yeah.”
