Fury and Joshua are set to clash on Dec. 11 at Principality Stadium
in Cardiff, Wales, with the matchup streaming on Netflix. The
fight's location had been a major talking point during
negotiations, with Hearn pushing for the United Kingdom while
Fury's side campaigned for Madison Square Garden in New York.

Netflix's Fury-Joshua announcement puts Dana White at center of
dispute with Eddie Hearn

Netflix's announcement described the bout as a co-promotion between
Turki Alalshikh's The Ring and White, but did not mention Hearn or
Matchroom Boxing, who represent Joshua, or Frank Warren and
Queensberry, who represent Fury.

Hearn, speaking with IFL TV, immediately disputed White's
involvement while pointing to the agreement surrounding the
fight.

“Dana White cannot be involved in this fight,†Hearn said. “Netflix
clearly didn't get the memo. You see, no one talks to each other.
So, I speak to Sela and Turki, ‘No, Dana White is not involved in
the fight, you’ve got a contract that says that, he won’t be at the
presser, blah, blah, blah.' And then Netflix says the fight’s in
conjunction with Dana White.â€

Hearn then slammed White over the previous negotiations and his
insistence that the fight would take place in New York.

“You came in and was like, ‘Yeah, we’ll just take this fight, the
biggest fight in the history of British boxing, one of the biggest
sporting events in the history of Britain and we’ll just put it in
Madison Square Garden.' Well, guess what, motherf*cker? That didn’t
happen.â€

Hearn further emphasized that he intends to remind Netflix of the
contractual obligations.

“I’ll be speaking to Netflix just to remind them of their
contractual obligations, and it’ll be dealt with,†Hearn added. “We
won the race; the fight is happening in the U.K. and on we go.â€

The comments come after months of public back-and-forth between
Hearn and White over Fury-Joshua. White previously accused Hearn of
hurting the negotiations and said the fight was close to falling
apart.

Gall's return to competition has fallen through.

Gall was scheduled to return to action in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship in Las Vegas against Sedriques
Dumas at
UFC Vegas 121 after nearly two years away. However, he has been
pulled from the fight due to an undisclosed medical issue. Recent

Dana White's Contender Series graduate Luis
Hernandez has now stepped up to face Dumas on short notice.

Mickey Gall says a pre-fight medical issue made him ineligible
to face Sedriques Dumas

Gall claims the UFC pulled him from the fight. He said the UFC
informed him on Sept. 24 that something on his pre-fight medical
tests made him ineligible to fight. Gall is disappointed as he was
looking forward to giving his fans a win, having not won since
2021. The 34-year-old vows to be back once he has got the situation
sorted.

“I have been pulled back from this fight by the UFC,†Gall said on
Instagram. “I was contacted this morning. Something came back on my
medicals that [is] making me ineligible via simple procedure. I
will be back. It sucks. I have overcome a lot to be here. And it's
not lost on me that I've done a lot of losing in there. I wanted to
give my friends, my family, my fans something to cheer about. And
I've worked really hard for that. Unfortunately, that's not gonna
be able to happen this weekend. But once I get this situated and
straightened out, I will be back.â€

Gall (7-7) made his UFC debut in just his sophomore professional
outing in 2016. After a promising start with three consecutive
finishes, Gall then alternated between wins and losses. He went on
a four-fight slump starting in 2021 and hasn't fought since
2024.

The most anticipated boxing matchup in recent history has been
confirmed.

Joshua are set to clash for the WBA super heavyweight title on
Dec. 11 at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff, Wales. The fight
will air live on Netflix. It will be promoted by Turki Alalshikh's
Ring Magazine in collaboration with
Ultimate Fighting Championship and Zuffa Boxing head Dana
White. Both Alalshikh and White confirmed the booking on social
media.

Fury vs. Joshua will stream live on Netflix with the WBA super

While the matchup has been a decade in the making, it kept falling
through repeatedly for various reasons. Fans' hopes soared when
both Fury and Joshua signed deals with Alalshikh earlier this
year.

Fury defeated Mariusz Wach in his July tune-up fight. Meanwhile,
Joshua defeated Kristian Prenga that same weekend in his bout.
However, the contest was further delayed due to disagreements over
the location. Netflix wanted the fight in the U.S. to reach a
broader audience, but Joshua and promoter Eddie Hearn insisted it
take place in the U.K.

“This will be one of the biggest fights in boxing history,â€
Alalshikh said following the announcement. “I am very happy to make
this fight happen for the fans.â€

Fury opened as a -180 favorite, while Joshua came in as a +150
underdog.
