Mesha Tate (20-9) Meet Yana Santos at the UFC Fight Night party on May 3. The event is to take place in Des Moines, Iowa, but the location and place have not yet been officially confirmed. On Monday, Tate announced the fight on Instagram, and Santos (15-8) is publicly aware of the duel.

The last fight of Mesha Tate took place on December 2, 2023 at UFC at ESPN 52 in Austin, Texas, where she stood in the face of Julia Avila. Tate secured the victory, submitting Avila with the rear choke in the third round, winning her night award. After this win, Tate is to return to the Octagon on May 3, 2025, at UFC Fight Night 258, where he will face the former champion Bantam Wweight Bantams FC Yana Santos. Citeturn0search1

The last fight of Yana Santos took place on August 10, 2024 at UFC at ESPN 61, where she faced Chelsea Chandler. Despite the fact that Chandler lost the Bantam weight limit for five pounds, the fight went in the summit, and Chandler punished a fine of 20% of her purse, which was awarded to Santos. Santos provided a unanimous victory of the decision on Chandler, and the judges fired a fight 30-27, 29-28 and 29-28 in its favor. This upcoming fight is a significant opportunity for Santos to further establish your position in the division.

Noche UFC weigh-in results: Jean Silva is ready for Noche UFC redemption

Jean Silva is ready for some Noche UFC redemption.

On Friday, all 26 fighters for the latest Noche UFC card successfully made weight, including both Jean Silva and Jose Miguel Delgado, who face off in the featherweight main event on Saturday. Delgado made use of the one-pound allowance for non-title fights, weighing in at 145.5 pounds, while Silva made a statement, coming in at the championship weight of 145 pounds.

Hailing from the Fighting Nerds team, Silva appeared on the cusp of a featherweight title last year, before suffering a TKO loss to Diego Lopes in the main event of Noche UFC last year. After rebounding with a unanimous decision win over Arnold Allen in January, Silva is looking to get back in the 145-pound title picture and redeem his previous showing at Noche UFC.

Joining the UFC from Contender Series in 2024, Delgado has made an immediate splash in the promotion, racking up a 4-1 record in the octagon in less than two years. Silva was originally set to face Yair Rodriguez in the Noche UFC main event, but when Rodriguez pulled out of the fight, Delgado stepped in on short notice and is looking for the biggest win of his career.

Also on the card, former flyweight champion Brandon Moreno returns to the octagon looking to stop a two-fight losing streak when he takes on Joseph Morales in the co-main event. Both Moreno and Morales successfully made weight, with both coming in at 125.5 pounds.

Also of note, the previously planned flyweight fight between Tim Elliott and Edgar Chairez that serves as the final prelim fight was changed to a 130-pound catchweight bout before weigh-ins, with both men making the 130-pound mark.

Garcia vs. Benn weigh-in results: Conor Benn beats Ryan Garcia to the scale for title fight

Conor Benn made a championship statement at the official weigh-ins for his bout with welterweight champion Ryan Garcia.

At Friday's early weigh-ins in Las Vegas, Benn was the first fighter to the scale, weighing in at 146 pounds for Saturday's main event at T-Mobile Arena. Garcia weighed in later, successfully hitting the mark at 145.5 pounds for his WBC title defense.

Garcia (25-2, 1 NC) seeks the first defense of his WBC belt after winning it via unanimous decision over Mario Barrios this past February. He faces a Benn (25-1) coming off of consecutive wins over Regis Prograis and rival Chris Eubank Jr.

In the co-main event, Jai Opetaia (30-0) puts his Zuffa and The Ring cruiserweight titles on the line against Noel Mikaelian (28-3). Opetaia weighed in at 199 pounds, while Mikaelian registered at 200 on the scale.

Opetaia became Zuffa's inaugural cruiserweight champion in March when he defeated Brandon Glanton via unanimous decision.

At the Garcia vs. Benn weigh-ins, Ryan Garcia and Conor Benn will step on the scale Friday in Las Vegas.

Garcia and Benn have to weigh in no more than 147 pounds for their WBC welterweight title main event showdown. Garcia is 2-2 with one no-contest over this past five fights, while Benn has won four of his past five fights.
