Boxing legends Mike Tyson and Floyd Mayweather confirmed that they will face each other in an exhibition match next year, and a spectacular start is scheduled for spring 2026.
The former heavyweight master took about 16 million pounds for the fight, although he insisted that financial profit was not his main motivation to return to the ring. Mayweather also competed at several exhibitions since the official retirement, and also took over online celebrities, entering the ring against Paul’s brother, Logan. Now two boxing legends may meet next year, and the meeting is scheduled for spring 2026.
Amazing reports were confirmed by Tyson, who said TMZ: “This fight is not something that neither the world, nor did I think that it would happen. However, the boxing entered a fresh era of unpredictable – and this fight is as unpredictable as possible.
“I still can’t believe that Floyd really wants to do it. It will be harmful to his health, but he wants to do it, so he is signed and happens!”
Tyson placed his professional record on the line, heading to Paul last year, adding another loss to his album. However, Mayweather remains invincible in 50-0 and refused to threaten his virgin record when she agreed to fight from retirement.
Despite the agreement of the next fight, the Mayweather remains confident about taking part in Tyson and believes that their arrangement will delight boxing fans. “I have been doing it for 30 years and there was not a single warrior who could destroy my heritage,” said Mayweather.
“You already know that if I’m going to do something, it will be huge and legendary. I am the best in the boxing industry. This exhibition will give fans what they want.”
Tyson withdrew from professional boxing on June 11, 2005 during the last meeting with Kevin McBride, but returned to action 12 months later.
Iron Mike competed at a four-shaped exhibition against Corey Sanders, before he took a 15-year break before the decision to face Roy Jones Jr.
Nokaut, the artist again put in gloves last year, when fighting with Paul, while Mayweather remained more energetic since its transition to professional retirement.
The money was taken by the Japanese Kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa, the personality of social media and the WWE Logan Paul star and another Deji internet celebrity.
The last Majeweather meeting took place last year, when he went to his fingers with John Gotti in Mexico City.
The fight lasted full eight rounds as planned, although no winner was announced.
The rules of the Tyson’s fight with Mayweather have not yet been disclosed, and the conditions that will be negotiated between the two warriors. The fight is expected to be promoted by Sports/Fight Sports CSI.

June 9, 2026
On Saturday in Manchester, Tommy Fury will face former strongest man in the world, Eddie Hall.
Fury will meet Hall at the AO Arena live on DAZN pay-per-view and DAZN Ultimate.
Fury’s boxing career has stalled since two money-making bouts with YouTube sensations: Jake Paul and KSI.
The 27-year-old half-brother of former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury defeated both fighters by decision in 2023 and has fought just once since then after being sidelined with a hand injury.
The Manchester player withdrew from the scheduled fight with Darren Till, and then returned to Hungary in May last year after winning on points over Kenan Hanjalic.
Hall, who won the World’s Strongest Man competition in 2017, has only had one previous boxing fight, losing to rival strongman Thor Björnsson at another exhibition in 2022.
The 38-year-old is expected to weigh at least 10 stone more than his much more experienced rival and both fighters will fight over six two-minute rounds.
Taylor will face Floyd
On the undercard, Anthony Taylor will face Matt Floyd in a lightweight heavyweight bout.
Taylor, a former sparring partner of Jake Paul, was defeated by Fury in 2021 and is coming off back-to-back losses to Darren Till and Neeraj Goyat respectively.
Floyd is a former UBO cruiserweight champion who was defeated by James DeGale in a fierce bare-knuckle fight in September.
Undercard remaining
B Dave should beat Swarmz at lightweight heavyweight, while Armz Kormelone can stop Large Stacks in their heavyweight fight.
Rahim Amer may be too much for Adam Brooks at lightweight heavyweight, while Little Bellsy may overtake Andy Nguyen in a super bantamweight bout.
Sheena Bathory, formerly of Power Slap, can stop Christina Flanagan at welterweight.
Luke Nevin will likely overtake Karim Khallas at lightweight heavyweight, while Jack Kay, better known as the final Ibiza boss, could do the same against Jordan McCann, also at 175 pounds.
Jade Jones can stop Federica Riccio in a welterweight fight.

Jesse “Bam” Rodriguez believes a long-awaited clash with Naoya Inoue is “inevitable” ahead of his return on Saturday.
Bam Rodriguez is closing in on one weight class for undisputed super bantamweight champion Inoue when he fights Antonio Vargas for the WBA bantamweight world title on Saturday in Arizona live on DAZN.
A meeting between the pair would pit two true pound-for-pound superstars against each other, and the Texan believes the clash will definitely happen, with Ring magazine owner Turki Alalshikh already expressing interest in promoting the fight.
“I know that when this Inoue fight happens, the fans will be in for a great night of boxing,” the 26-year-old said Ring Magazine.
“People are already talking so much about this fight that it is inevitable at this point.
“And I feel like when the time comes, it will be a great fight, probably one of the best in boxing history.”
Inoue retained his undisputed crown thanks to A unanimous decision victory over Japanese rival Junto Nakatani last month.
Bam is the current unified super flyweight world champion and is expected to return to 115 pounds to challenge Andrew Moloney for the undisputed title.

The Texan admits he would like to join forces with WBC bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue, Inoue’s younger brother, if he defeats Vargas at the Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale.
“I think that’s the perfect storyline for this fight,” he said.
“Beating up a brother [WBC bantamweight champion Takuma Inoue] First.

“I think it’s almost the perfect storyline for Inoue’s fight, where he first beats his brother and then fights the other brother.”
Bam, who is the overwhelming favorite among bookmakers, is fighting for the first time since the unification of the super flyweight division following a 10th-round knockout of Fernando Martinez in November in Riyad.
Vargas first defended his WBA belt last July, but lost to Daigo Higa.
