Manny Pacquiao evaluates the Anthony Joshua vs. Jake Paul fight with a basic prediction

Manny Pacquiao weighs in on Anthony Joshua vs Jake Paul with a simple prediction

Tomorrow night, Jake Paul will try to shock the world when he fights two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua. Now, eight-division world champion Manny Pacquiao has given his predictions for the controversial contest.

Paul fought as a professional boxer 13 times, winning all but one of his fights defeat by split decision to Tommy Fury in 2023 which is the only blemish on his record.

But “The Problem Child” made only one appearance as a heavyweight when he was tasked last year with fighting 58-year-old Mike Tyson in a fight lasting eight two-minute rounds wearing 14-ounce gloves against a fighter who had previously been inactive for nearly two decades.

In Joshua, Paul faces a true heavyweight who fought for the coveted world heavyweight title just last year and has reigned supreme in the division twice. Understandably, he does so as the all-powerful underdog.

In an interview with No secondsthe legendary Pacquiao agreed with the masses’ assessment and predicted Joshua’s victory.

“Joshua [will win]. He [Jake Paul] he has to train strenuous.”

Following his expected victory over Paul, it looks like Joshua will turn his attention to a clash with long-time rival Tyson Fury in 2026, with both fighters expected to have interim fights at the beginning of the year before facing each other in September.

As for Pacquiao, the Filipino icon appears ready to challenge WBA welterweight champion Rolly Romero after his sensational return to the sport earlier this year when he drew with WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
