Machine Gun Kelly doubles down on Conor McGregor hate after his injury at UFC 329: ‘F*ck this dude’

Musician Machine Gun Kelly isn't allowing Conor McGregor's devastating injury to stop him from blasting the Irish superstar after his comeback ended in just 69 seconds at UFC 329.

On the night of his fight when McGregor threw a spinning roundhouse kick that blew out his knee, the Ohio native immediately mocked him while referencing one of his diss tracks saying “knees weak of old age, the real Conor can't stand up.†A day later, the rapper turned rocker took to Instagram to double down on his diss aimed at McGregor, and he's not backing down from a beef that started between them on the VMA's red carpet back in 2021.

â€I'm aware I did a post yesterday, and I should probably apologize for absolutely nothing, homie,†MGK said on Instagram. “F*ck this dude. That's how beef works. We don't like each other. Everyone's saying ‘oh you commented on his age, he's only one year older than you about his knees.' We don't age the same. My knees are awesome. ‘Oh you wouldn't say it to his face?' I already did. That's why this picture exists of this little leprechaun punching up and missing me and me not flinching.

“Where the f*ck is the rest of the footage where we toss this little guy like a piece of dirty drawers across the red carpet? That's why all the footage starts with him far away.â€

That incident got plenty of publicity with security separating MGK and McGregor during the red carpet festivities. Obviously, five years later the bad blood still exists — at least where MGK is concerned.

“Buddy, you look like a drunk, ugly extra in a Sherlock Holmes movie,†MGK said. “What in the 1934 am I looking at? Fix your face. Holy shit. Why are you kicking him when he's down? F*ck this guy when he's down, up, sideways, asleep, while I'm peeing. F*ck him.

“What in the f*ck Liddell happened to the landing strip on your head? Worst 10 seconds I've ever seen. Thanks for the walkout being longer than the fight. You wasted everyone's time. It's pissing me off.â€

McGregor announced on Monday that he's planning to have surgery on his injured knee, although he didn't specify the exact nature of his injury. As for MGK, he's now managed to get into a public beef with McGregor after also having a past altercation with reigning UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland when they met at a Power Slap event. Here's hoping MGK can settle these beefs better than he did with Eminem.

Video: Gordon Ryan involved in huge brawl at ADCC: ‘Thanks to the Kazakh guys for the scrap’

“Here's my perspective of what just transpired, when it was transpiring.

“So, obviously, I'm coaching Dominick — I have no idea what's going on, I'm just coaching Dominick, and Dorian and the Kazakh kid are competing. They get into whatever scuffle or argument, whatever the case is, I don't know. I don't know what's going on, but I do know that it's just John, Mike, and Dorian. John and Mike are in their 50s, 60s. So it's just the three of them and like 15 Kazakh guys.

“So this is all happening, and I'm like, for sure when this match is over there's going to be a fight. 100 percent. So I angle my chair toward their mat while I'm still coaching Dominick. The match ends, the fight starts, so I'm like, OK, we're going to have a fight. Like 15 Kazakh dudes jump John, Mike, and Dorian. So I jump in, I crack the first guy, the second that one of them sees me, a couple of them start yelling, ‘Gordon, Gordon, Gordon!' So they all turn towards me because they realized I was there.

“They immediately tackled me, two guys grabbed my legs and pushed me over so I just fell over. Then like five or six of them started hitting me in the head. A couple guys are soccer kicking me, a couple guys are punching me, but I still managed to heist back up to me knees. Even though there were between four and six of them … on top of me, I still heisted up and started coming up to a single-leg. Then the fight got broken up. I stood up, I was like, ‘Cool, fight's done. Everybody's cool.' So I just ran back, sat down, started coaching Dominick.

“So, thanks to the Kazakh guys for the scrap. That was fun. And always remember, I'm fight of the night, every night.â€

‘No one is here putting a gun to my head to do this’: Brandon Moreno on fresh career focus heading into first Noche UFC fight

For the first time, Brandon Moreno will compete on a Noche UFC event, and he'll do so with an extremely positive attitude.

The former two-time UFC flyweight champion is set to face Joseph Morales at Saturday's fight card in Glendale, Ariz., which just so happens to be in the same arena where he captured his first UFC world title in a submission win over Deiveson Figueiredo at UFC 263 in June 2021.

“I got the first title there in Glendale, Ariz.,†Moreno told MMA Fighting. “They changed the name of the name of the arena, but in the same location and actually before [I fought there in] the UFC, I fought like four or five times in Arizona, in a local promotion, WFF.

“So I have really good memories from Arizona, and man, the No.1 [memory], like getting the title with all the crowd is screaming my name is all the people, all the Mexican flags around. Yeah man, it's a special place to me for sure.â€

“The Assassin Baby†often reflects on the incredible night in Arizona, where the crowd was absolutely on fire for his co-main event championship victory.

Not only that, but what came after his biggest victory where he mentally captured some moments with two fellow former UFC world champions

“I just remember different moments of the fight, different moments of that night,†Moreno explained. “Like, for example, once I finished the fight, I went to my locker room, I put on my suit, I was walking to the press conference, going with my wife, with my teammates, with my daughter. I don't remember why, but Francis Ngannou was there and he was taking care of my daughter. My youngest daughter, he was carrying my daughter. That was super cool.

“Then like eating pizza with Israel Adesanya in the post [press] conference. That was super nice. So man, all those kind of moments make this fight super special because, again, I have just good memories from there.â€

There have been numerous reasons over the years that Moreno has not been able to compete at a Noche UFC card. During the UFC Hall of Fame red carpet in July, Moreno told reporters that he was hoping to get the chance to compete at the annual event.

Moreno got his wish, and he couldn't be more thrilled.

“Man, finally, I'm going to fight at a Noche UFC,†Moreno said. “This is gonna be the fourth edition of Noche. I wasn't able to fight on the other ones for different reasons, like injuries or the schedules, but finally I, I made it and I'm super excited.

“It's something I wanted to do this year, fight at Noche, and fighting against Joseph Morales… but he's going to be super motivated and that made me feel excited to fight, more on that card.â€

It's not a normal setting for Moreno as he enters the bout against an unranked fighter on a two-fight losing skid — a stoppage loss to Tatsuro Taira at at UFC 323 this past December, followed by a decision loss to Lone'er Kavanagh in the main event of UFC Mexico City in February.

While Moreno sees a lot of Morales — who returned to the UFC after winning season 33 of The Ultimate Fighter and submitting both of his opponents in official octagon bouts — in himself back in the day, Moreno has a much fresher viewpoint on his career and the fight game; enjoy the moments for as long as it lasts.

“Man, 100 percent,†Moreno said. “I think more in this kind of sport, like man, tomorrow I can get injured and that's it, and that's crazy. â€So man, you have to try to enjoy it, because no one is here putting a gun in the head to do this. I'm doing this because I really love the sport and that's it.

“Because I feel able to keep doing it because I feel healthy and I'm still doing amazing things in the gym, in my practices and that's why I'm here, man. So yes, you have to remember what you started.â€
