Liam Williams retires with boxing with fears for brain shock

Welsh Midlewweight Liam Williams reportedly announced his pension at the age of 32, according to BBC. Williams states that he decided to convey gloves in fear of the number of shocks he suffered, and what further damage can be caused by his brain if he continues to fight.

In particular, Williams recalls that after his first round of losing with Hamzah Sheeraz in February, that he took too much damage accumulated and does not want to expose his future to his family at a further risk, concerns the potential of CTE after a number of fears over the past one and a half years.

“I trust people around me, and when they count you, it’s over, you have to listen. It was very hard to hear. I had some problems with brain shocks. I had three or four in 18 months. I don’t want to box only money and get a head that you can never come back from. I have a wonderful family, a wonderful partner, if I can’t enjoy them because of my brain damage, what would it be for?

Williams will continue admitting that he was shocked in the fight with Chris Eubank Jr in 2022 and was informed by a doctor not to pass this fight, but said that in this fight there was a lot of money and did not want to disappoint the fans.

In retrospect, Williams claims that at that time it was a penniless decision to continue the fight against Eubank and adds that he regrets that he would not be able to win the world title before retiring, but he is still proud of what he achieved in sport.

Williams retires with a professional record of 25-5-1 and we wish him all the best in his life after the Backa.

Robert Garcia discusses the debate on the greatest Mexican warrior in history

Speaking with Fight Hype, coach Robert Garcia shares his thoughts on who should be considered the greatest Mexican warrior of all time between Canelo Alvarez and Julio Cesar Chavez. Here are some of what Garcia had to say about it.

“For ordinary fans of Chavez will always be number 1,” said Garcia. “Chavez will never be moved from this position. But I could say that Canelo has already surpassed Chavez in many ways. It was in boxing that Canelo achieved more than Chavez. But when it comes to the love of Mexican fans, it will never be better than Chavez.

“So I have to say that Chavez, Chavez only for this reason. But when it comes to achieving more and making more, maybe even getting more profit – I think Canelo has already done better, but it will simply never be the same.

“We will never see Canelo in a fight such as Chavez against Meldrick Taylor. We will never see Canelo in a fight like Morales vs Barrera. Canelo is simply too intelligent, he fights wisely, takes care of her health, fights and is not dropped, they are not cut – these are the reasons why I think that everyone is.

“For me, he is probably the best Mexico of all time. But as a fan, not, because we want to see blood, we want to see the knocking and get up from the knocking and knockout of the opponent. We want to see wars, rematch, fight.

“Only the fact that Canelo does not fight Benavidez is already something that goes against him when it comes to fans from Mexico … We want to fight Benavidez, but on the other hand it does not have to. About Crawford.”

About whether Canelo can steal hearts from Chavez with blood and intestines with Benavidez

“100%. Even if he loses, which I do not say that he will do it, but even if he would lose, if he issues a fight that we want to see, and everyone wants this fight, and even if he loses, I think the fans will get respect.”

Natasha Jonas vs Ivana Habazin Union clerk of December 14

On December 14, it just became even more disgusted, because Boxxer revealed a show at the Liverpool exhibition center at the head of the unification of the welterweight title between Natasha Jonas and Ivana Habazin.

After unsuccessful title auctions from Terri Harper at the age of 130 and Katie Taylor at the age of 135, Jonas (15-2-1, 9 KO) jumped up to 154, quickly collecting three titles, then fell to 147 and taking Kandi Wyatt on the free IBF belt. This was a clamorous duel with Mikaela Mayer, who felt the most after America, although two judges gave them to a local favorite Jonas.

Habazin (23-5, 7 KO) did not make every effort in all its greatest struggle for this time, sports losses for such as Cecilia Braekhus, Claress Shields and the aforementioned Harpera, but perform the title of WBC after defeating Hungarian Kinga Magyar in April.

Jonas said: “I am excited that I have returned to another great fight for the title of world champion in Liverpool. To win the next world championship title and unite the IBF and WBC World titles. Ivana Habazin is a great master. She won a lot of the world of one of the best in the world.

Habazin: “It will be an honor for me to unite WBC and IBF World Welter Wich. Earlier Hero IBF champion title and I can’t wait to win the belt again. I have great respect for Natasha. She was a great champion. Women of women in sport and defeating her give me recognition.

“I visited Liverpool several times and this is my favorite city in Great Britain, so I am very excited about a fight in her hometown. Although it can be winter in Liverpool on December 14, I believe that Natasha and I will bring them a very needed and Christmas joy. And Santa does not come to Natasha and early Christmas.”

Although this is not a hit duel, it is to lead to one. WBA master Lauren Price (7-0, 1 KO), who withdrew Jessica McCaskill in May, will defend her title against Bexcy Mateus (7-0, 6 KO) in the factor. I know that Jonas vs Price is a fight to be done, but I feel that the years have passed since we delighted the dissatisfied Colombian blow, so I was pulling for Mateus.

Price: “I am excited that I can defend my belts to finish a great year for me. I have full respect for Mateus. I assure the best in the division and I will not let anything or anyone stand in my way to unqueside.”

Stephen McKenna (15-0, 14 KO), Viddal Riley (11-0, 6 KO) and Mark Jeffers (18-0, 5 KO) see the action based on.

Tommy Fury to face Darren until January 18

The boxing ecosystem remains robust after the defeat of Jake Paul Vs Mike Tyson Tyson, because Tommy Fury will meet the former UFC pretender, Darrena until January 18, the main event of Dazna in Manchester in a live cooperative.

As far as I know, it’s an exhibition.

Fury (10-0, 4 KO) spent 2023, establishing as a king of influential boxing with strict decisions over Paul and KSI, although it eventually disappeared in 2024 due to injury. It is at this strange level of skill, in which he is too good for most side attractions, but there is no special high ceiling as a real professional, so it is not surprising that he is trying to squeeze out of the senior stone of “shot former guy”.

UP (18-5-1 MMA) enjoyed a significant raise in the UFC welterweight (170 pounds).

Woodley finished him with his right hand, then strangled him and everything was down. Jorge Masvidal came off the canvas to delicate it in one blow, and then the redemptive victory in the medium weight over Kelvin Guestum gave way to three straightforward losses. Technical injuries and stagnation went to the shell of his former self, although he did it Receive the victory in exhibition boxes via Rabbit Punch at the beginning of this year.

Fury: “It’s great to finally say that I came back! I left the ring too long.

“I got itchy cubes, so I’m excited that I can announce my return, the main event in my hometown and in front of the fans.

“Till had a good UFC career, but now he is entering the boxing ring, against the right professionals, and he quickly realizes that he has no depth and this is not a game for him.

“I plan to deal with the decisive fashion and then chase even more fights in 2025.”

This is: “January 18 is my time, my night.”
