Joshua Buatsi looks to get back to winning ways and stay on course for a maiden world title shot when he faces Zach Parker in Manchester on Saturday.
Buatsi and Parker fight for the WBO International lithe heavyweight crown over 10 rounds at the Co-op Live Arena, live on DAZN.
Buatsi, who is making his debut with Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions, wants to get back into the fight for the world title after suffering his first professional defeat in February. overtaken by British rival Callum Smith in the fight of the year in Riyad.
The 32-year-old lost his interim WBO crown, but still holds a high position in the governing body, and a win here will earn him a shot at unified world champion Dmitry Bivol.
The Olympic bronze medalist will also be closely watching long-time rival Anthony Yarde, who will face David Benavidez on November 22 for the WBC world title.

Parker, 31, moved up from super middleweight in his last outing, beating Mickael Diallo by unanimous decision in February.
Derby had no shot at the 168-pound world title after retiring due to injury against John Ryder in 2022, but victory here also set up his future meeting with Bivol, ranked No. 3 by the WBO.
Prediction: Parker is a crafty boxer and should give Buatsi a stern test, but I expect Buatsi to hang in there down the stretch and secure a unanimous decision win.
