“I will drop Zepeda Fight for Tank”: Shakur Stevenson calls Gervont Davis

Image: "I'll Drop Zepeda Fight for Tank": Shakur Stevenson Calls Out Gervonta Davis

Shakur Stevenson says that he would abandon his plans to defend his lightweight WBC title against momentary champion William Zeda, if Gervonta Davis agrees to fight him. If he says that Tank has another fight, which he has been planned, he will go forward with the clash with Zepeda.

Fans on social media point out that Shakur (23-0, 11 KO) had the opportunity to fight Tank Davis before, but he blew his chance. Now he has to live with his choices and take part in the fighting before he is dethroned.

Newark requirements

It will turn out whether Shakura, Eddie Hearn, can provide him with the fight of Zepeda, which he wants, because without involved Saudis there is no money needed for this fight.

Hearn says he wants Zepeda (33-0, 27 KO) agreed to fight in the hometown of Shakur in Newark, Up-to-date Jersey, which is unlikely. Zepeda is too popular to put himself in a position where he could be robbed if the competition is close.

“If I could continue, I would take a tank, but the fight that has already appeared was Zepeda,” said Shakur to Dazn Boxing when he was asked who he wanted to fight. “If the tank says:” Let’s fight “, I will drop this s *** and we can rumble. But if he has something different, I talk to Zeda.

Shakur mentioned his name Tank, since he reached a slight weight in 2023, but he did not make any moves to fight the killers that the King of the Division would take seriously.

Stevenson uses Davis’s name for promotional purposes to create a false interest in his career without risky fights. We have consistently seen Shakur heading an simple way instead of a difficult path. Once upon a time he fought with a decent opponent, Edwin de Los Santos, ran in front of him for 12 rounds and was booed from place in T-Mobile.

“I will fight in Newark. I will fight in Vegas. Anywhere [William] Zepeda wants to fight, I will fight him – said Shakur Stevenson to IFL TV about who he wants to fight. “That’s what I want. He is a hellish warrior. He is [WBC] transition period [lightweight] master. I am the main master. Because I am a real master, I know he wants to be a master. So I’m here. Come, take it. “

Eubank Jr. Games Kitchen Temin Benn Atmate in front of Tottenham Hotspur Stadium Fight

Chris Eubank Jr. Without a word, he showed his cooking skills today, preparing an omelette for the video to give Conor regret before the Battle of Headliner in 11 days, live on Dazn PPV on April 26 at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium in London, England.

Eubank Jr. (34-3, 25 KO) tries to arouse anger in a sizzling benna (23-0, 14 KO), which is known for its tiny fuse. Obtaining an ultracho Benn Błygo is simply too basic. During the press conference, he looked like he needed NHS treatment after eggs.

When you got an emotional warrior, such as Benn in the ring, it is a child’s play for a warrior such as Eubank Jr, who develops primitive slothful. You must be under control to have a chance to overcome the explosions of Chris Jr. Benna and difficulties in controlling his emotions will make him basic to work for a fighter such as Eubank Jr.

Promoter Benna, Eddie Hearn, guarantees him victory. He says Benn will knock out Eubank Jr in four rounds, but few fans agree with him. This is a large step towards Conor from the opposition at a low level that he has been adapted to his entire career and has no experience for this kind of warrior. What’s more, Benna’s inaction is another reason why he is unlikely to do well.

Hearn guarantees victory

“Let me talk about Conor Benn and his training camp. I have never witnessed how someone worked as demanding as Conor Benn in a training camp,” said Eddie Hearn supervisor Social boxing About the preparation, which Benn put into battle with Chris Eubank Jr.

“If Conor Benn loses and I don’t believe he will do it, you can look at yourself in the mirror and say:” I did absolutely everything in my power to win this fight “and win this fight. Chris Eubank is nokry in four rounds. This is my forecast, “said Hearn.

The coach predicts that Crawford’s early skills will challenge Canelo, but asks if “Pącz” can survive Alvarez’s pressure in the overdue round

Image: Trainer Predicts Crawford's Early Skill Will Challenge Canelo, But Questions Whether 'Bud' Can Survive Alvarez's Late-Round Pressure

Coach Robert Garcia says that Terenka Crawford will dominate the first half of the fight with the United Champion of the super medium weight Canelo Alvarez, winning “five or six” rounds in September.

Early Crawford Lead?

Robert states that Canelo (62-2-2, 39 KO) will have to force herself to enter the second half of the competition to play catching up and break Crawford (41-0, 31 KO). If Garcia is right with his forecast, Alvarez will be almost impossible. You don’t have an vintage wolf, such as Crawford, an early advantage and you count that you can go back to fight overdue.

With five times or overdue, native from Nebrask will stab, move and connect Canelo to the rest of the fight to win the decision. In other words, Crawford will sit on his lead and thwarted the Mexican star Alvarez like Floyd Mayweather Jr. He referred over him in 2013.

Canelo must force the action early, break holes through Crawford and win rounds based on the landing of more hard shots. Winning rounds requires only three or four tough Alvarez blows, because it strikes much more strongly than his opponents.

We have already seen that Crawford has no power in his last move until August 154 last year. It will be much more noticeable when he moved to 168 after the next year outside the ring, passing with a super medium weight No. 1 in the division. I do not see that this ends well for Crawford, if Alvarez is going to kill early.

“Utilize your skills, accelerate, try to fight outside and he has skills. He is a very talented warrior,” said coach Robert Garcia to KO Artistic sport Asked what Terenka Crawford must do to defeat Canelo Alvarez in their fight in September.

“I think he is [Bud Crawford] He intends to put a few good rounds. Maybe at least five or six rounds. Finally, in later rounds, Canelo will start fishing and smashing him. But I can see Crawford [a good fight].

The second half of the tide

“Crawford, he is a man. He is one of the best fighters in the world. He is very talented and I think he will put a good fight. [Canelo] has to [come on late] Because in the first half I think it will be Crawford’s fight – said Robert.

And 100% I disagree with Robert. Canelo will be a more effective warrior in the early rounds and for the first half will exert pressure on shy, moving rings and vintage crawford. Robert forgets how mighty Alvarez looked like in the first five rounds in his last two fights with the 193-Funting funtar scale of Edgar Berlang and Jaime Munguia in 2024. These two fighters are much younger, larger and more powerful than soon 38-year-old Crawford.

Canelo fell in championship rounds from eight to twelve. This is where he is faded and let his smaller opposition steal rounds, which they would not have otherwise.

“I can also be wrong because Canelo is very talented. Let’s not answer him,” said Robert. “I see that Crawford takes the first few rounds and the first half of the fight, and then Canelo is forced to pressure and try to dominate this way.”

Power factor

If Canelo can continue to force the campaign in the second half, the fight will be a complete mismatch, such as the unilateral victory of Alvarez over the former unquestioned champion of 154 pounds Jermell Charlo, September 30, 2023, Alvarez does not give out the first six rounds against Crawford. Then the Mexican star will be in his strongest, most perilous place of fight.

Even Gennadiy Golovkin did not enter the teeth of Canelo’s crime at the beginning of three fights. He usually stayed outside, stabbing and throwing individual shots. It is not surprising that the judges did not attribute this approach to him, because he did not land in the same kind of neat shots Alvarez and did not risk. Crawford cannot beat Canelo by stabbing and staying outside.

“Knowing that he could be a bit behind, he could be forced to do so. He has strength, he has power, he also has skills to do it. He did it many times,” said Robert.

Forty years later, Hagler-Hearns is still the biggest fight in history

Published

on

By: Sean Crose

Writing rarely is a completely objective undertaking. Although we writers try to stop the wave of our prejudices, these prejudices have a way to creep. Honor is more effort than an imperfect result. What makes the wonderful Marvin Hagler-Thomas Hearns fights from 1985 is for me that I am ready to write about it regardless of objectivity. In my opinion, this is the biggest fight in history, and that’s all. What’s more, to this day no one has ever convinced me that my claim is incorrect.

As for me, Hagler-Hearns, which fell forty years ago that night, is not only the peak of boxing, but it is so far a sports event in history. How is it to show your prejudice? To be sincere, who could argue that there was ever a recorded sporting event that was so cracking at such a high level and so many lines? There was no doubt that there were stimulating fights between legendary boxers with a lot of stakes, but no one reached the level of intensity of Hagler-Hearns tonight at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

If you have never seen three round wars, check it now on YouTube before reading. If you are one of those millions of fate who saw Hagler-Hearns, you remember how explosive was throwing from the opening bell. Hearns was a welterweight legend and a younger medium scale, giving Ray Leonard the fight of his life and putting a great Roberto Duran with a hit so thundering that he put the legendary panama icon on his face. On the other hand, Hagler was a demanding, highly qualified mill, which invented a tiny fanfare and sweeping every penny, distinctions and knockout.

Hagler was so confident that as a younger warrior he legally changed his name from Marvin Hagler to the wonderful Marvin Hagler. As for Hearns Detroit, he moved from the name Motor City Cobra to the usual “hit”. Name that matches all the right reasons for all. Their was a sporadic fight because it survived – and went far beyond – it’s noise. Watch the first round again, with each person he will not destroy the second speedy power, speed and skills, it is still as satisfying as any action movie. And the image of Hagler ended the night later two rounds, flattening the stumbled Hearns, probably remains in the mind forever.

How good was the fight? It is good enough that Hearns, who was defeated, immediately saw his reputation increased to even higher levels than before. Here is a match that will probably be remembered after everyone is gone.
