Ricky Hatton considered the recent retirement advertisement of Tyson Fury, which suggests that he can be lured back in the ring with a lucrative attack with Anthony Joshua. Fury decided to move away from sport in January, shortly after his second defeat with Oleksandr Usyk.
Before he decided to hang gloves, the former heavyweight champion was associated with a clash with Joshua. However, this is not the first fury from sport, after the announcement of his retirement in 2013. After the fight with David Haye, he was scrapped and again after the victory over Dillian Whyte in 2022. The Hatton boxing icon believes that the “Gypsy king” can cancel his decision if he receives the right offer at the epic clash with long -term Joshua.
Thinking about the story of Fury’s withdrawal, said Hatton Sky Sports: “Tyson was retired earlier. It just so happens that they tried to fight Joshua. They tried to do it for 10 years and it looks like they would still not make Tyson retired.
“But I would pass this pension with a pinch of salt, knowing Tyson. If he receives the right money, the right bag for AJ, knowing Tyson like me, I think he would jump for it.”
Hatton has a close bond from Fury, he helped the former world champion in a return during a three -year spell away from the ring after the MasterClass exhibition against Vladimir Klitschko in 2015. Before Fury announced his pension, Hatton admitted that the fight against Joshua would be a great way to “digital king”.
“Tyson had a great career; aj had a fantastic career, but they both show signs of miles on the watch, but this is a fight that we always wanted to see,” said Hatton Vegas Insider. “You will still pay all day to watch the fight.
“Let them fight with each other, and then I would like to see how they both retired, because they have nothing more to prove as a friend. If they have the last struggle to send, as we all waited, they can hang gloves and make us proud.”
In other boxing messages, Oleksandr Usyk looks at the rematch with Daniel Dubois after his controversial fight in August 2023, despite the fact that Joseph Parker is a mandatory contender for the title of WBO Usyk.
Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua is looking for a recent opponent after Dubois’s defeat at the Wembley stadium, which ended his four winning run. Matchroom Eddie Hearn promoter revealed a list of potential opponents of the next Joshua fight.
“Daniel Dubois still [is the frontrunner]. In the perfect world he will fight fury, if not Dubois, “said Hearn. “There is also Joseph Parker, who in my opinion would be a great fight, is Agit Kabayel and Deontay Wilder, of course his Excellency (Alalshikh) said he would like to see this fight.
“We will have to see, but in fact the conversations are inevitable with AJ to block this opponent for the summer.”

Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.
Crocker (22-0, 11 KO) became world champion in September, defeating Paddy Donovan twice before winning the rematch by split decision.
Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.

McKean meets Taliva
Heavyweight Demsey McKean will look to continue his rebuild when he faces Liam Talivaa for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific title.
McKean (24-2, 16 KO) had his career cut miniature after a last-round loss to Filip Hrgovic, followed by a brutal first-round loss to Moses Itauma.
The 35-year-old southpaw returned to winning ways with back-to-back stoppage victories.
Talivaa (8-2, 4 KO) last won the IBF Oceania-Orient title, defeating Faiga Opelu by first-round stoppage.
Undercard remaining
At cruiserweight, Luke Modini (13-0, 11 KO) will likely need distance to beat Peng Qu (17-2-1, 12 KO), while Riley Candy (8-1, 5 KO) could stop Nathan Watson (11-3, 3 KO) at super middleweight.
Vegas Larfield (13-1, 9 KO) can hand Shamal Ram Anuj (11-8, 8 KO) his fourth defeat in a row in a featherweight clash.
Heavyweight Nelson Asofa-Solomon (2-0, 2 KO) can secure a third straight knockout over debutant George Burgess, and Stevan Ivic (8-0-1, 2 KO) can do the same against Caleb Tialu (3-7, 3 KO), also a heavyweight.
Prospective super welterweight fighter Jack Javed (1-0) should overtake Lance McDonald (1-5-1, 1 KO).
