Huge bacon weight: 315 pounds at the start of Parker
Published
13 hours agoon

Martin Bakole weighed the unofficial 315 pounds on a scale, and his clothes before his main fight against 267-pound Joseph Parker on Saturday evening, February 22, in Riyadh. Bakole (21-1, 16 KO) would probably be a little lighter if he weighed without his street clothes.
Bakole weighs up to 30.5 pounds more than 284.5 pounds, which weighed its previous fight with Jared Anderson on August 3 in Los Angeles. Of course, he nourished well, but surprising, he did not find out whether in the meantime he was offered a fight as a substitute opponent.
Bakole’s master
His weight means that some fans believe that if he does not reach Parker in the first three or four rounds, he will fly out and be stopped or wiped. Of course, Parker will remain in motion for the first six rounds, not allowing Bakole to have a stationary goal to land his gigantic shots. Parker did it effectively in the last two fights with Zhilei Zhang and Deontay Wilder.
However, he weighed in the middle of 40 years to these fights, and on Saturday he comes in 22 pounds. Parker is not as basic to move for 12 rounds as on a lighter weight with wild excessive and 291-pound Zhang.
Parker weighed the highest career and it is not good. It is not clear what he thought, developed so much to fight his initially planned opponent, heavyweight champion IBF Daniel Dubois. Dubois would prevail 20 pounds and it would be impossible to stop him
Apparently, the bacon will receive a payment day of $ 600,000 for this fight, which is a lot of money for a deputy opponent. Some people think that he gets more than that, but this is the number that MailSport reports.

Hearing of Stevenson: The Padley Fight and the potential clash of Tank Davis
Published
48 minutes agoon
February 22, 2025
The lithe champion of WBC Shakur Stevenson has a lot of pressure on him to make him look impressive tonight, defeating Josh Padley in the Kingdom of the Arena in Riyadh. This is not someone who Shakur (22-0, 10 KO) can afford to fight if he doesn’t want to be ridiculed by fans More than he is already. If Shakur escapes from this guy today, it’s over. His career will never be the same.
Stevenson told Padley on Friday that he was going to beat his “A **” on Saturday. Now, if he escapes from Padley, as he did with a dozen his previous opponents, he will show fans what he meant.
What if he fails?
Realistically, Stevenson needs a knockout Padleya (15-0, 4 KO), to leave this fight without a violent inheritance. This is one of those fights in which you can’t gain anything, because Padley is not the best ten -level warrior. He is only a fighter at the British level who was chosen by his promoter Eddie Hearn. Shakur needs a knockout in six rounds to get out of this fight.
This fight is more crucial for Shakur, because Hearn wants to set up a “biggest fight in boxing” against Gervont Davis. He would look stupid, pressing this fight if Stevenson struggles tonight and strives for a tedious 12-round decision.
Hearn needs Shakur to look like 24 -carat gold against Josh, so that he can go to Turk Alalshikh and ask for assist in luring Davis’s tank to fight him. Without Turk, Hearn has no hope of combining this fight. He does not intend to empty the match boxing chest to come up with a cake to encourage Gervonta to Shakura in a fight, which probably will not cover the costs.
Shakur is not a draw of PPV, and Tank had only one fight during his 12-year career against Ryan Garcia. Fans who bought the event were probably 12 -meter Observers Ryan on Instagram. Shakur is not popular in social media, such as Ryan.
That is why it is crucial that Shakur looks great tonight. He is a smaller warrior who is expected to be destroyed if it is worthy of sharing the ring with the tank. Of course, Shakur is not what Hearn says. There is no pound for pounds No. 1 or one of the best fighters in sport. He is only a defensive guy, and 90% of his game is a defense, and only 10% is images.
That Hearn would sign Shakur on only a contract for two fights. I would do the same. I would sign Shakura for a miniature contract, adapt him to the opposition’s down to make him look good, and then press tank fights tough. There I would direct profit. After Shakur lost this fight, I would sign it again because it will be disclosed and the reconstruction would cost him too much money.

Who wins Artur Beterbiv-Dmitriry Bivol II and why?
Published
3 hours agoon
February 22, 2025Before Saturday’s gigantic night of boxing in Riyjad, the BoxingScene band looks at the future at what they expect will happen in Saudi Arabia, and which warrior will appear with the victory of one of the most attractive duels.
Tris Dixon: Because John Scully, who works with Beterbieal, pointed out that I still can’t snail-paced down under Bivola’s eye. Chris Eubanka’s first fight with Carl Thompson was a war and he still had a black eye when they fought again and immediately entered the game. Scully really knows this sport on the left and although tempting will say that Beterbiev is a little older and Bivol knows that he is opposite, I think that the eye will become a factor and although Beterbiev may not stop Bivol, such an obstacle may become such an obstacle, which he must give up and give up rounds to survive.
Kieran Mulvaney: I chose Bivol to win for the first time, and I thought he had thrown him personally, so I choose him again. Beterbiev is consistently impressive, and there is a lot more for him than he himself, but he is now 40 years venerable and this is the fastest turn between the fights since 2015. There is so little to choose that marginal differences are marginal differences will come into the game, and this time they are in favor of Bivol.
LANCE PUGMIRE: Dmitriry Bivol. I thought he won the first fight, and his 12 rounds of experience against the older, heavier Hitter should refer to Bivol to create a shiny program similar to his performance against Canelo Alvarez. Beterbiev has an excuse to let go of gas, taking into account his position to the trilogy match, and that a fraction of motivation conducive to Bivol – as the Beterbavów is 40 years venerable – should be the bivol tempo for a unanimous decision. I will say 116-112.
Tom Ivers: Artur Beterbiev can achieve much better than in October, especially with a sedate knee injury. I think that this time we will see the perpetrator, sharper and more explosive plant. He will undermine the pace early and I do not see that Bivol is able to cope with constant pressure for 12 rounds. I do not think that Bivol can significantly improve his performance in October, and if he holds his feet more, I can only imagine Nokaut Beterbiev.
Ryan Songalia: It is really tough to say because I do not know what every warrior can do differently than the first fight up close. Beterbiev finally won because he was ready to press a little more in a behind schedule fight than Bivol, which he himself achieved many successes to choose Beterbaview. I think that if Bivol can invest in the body early, instead of going only on low hanging fruit upstairs, and it can close a stronger fight. But I think you have to favor Beterbaview again.
Owen Lewis: If Beterbiev was 35 years venerable, not 40, I would agree to predict Tom to the letter. I thought that Bivol looked special in October and made his desired game plan to the highest possible standard, while Beterbiev was only sporadically effective, though in the crucial rounds of the championship. Considering that Beterbiev made a decision, I felt that it was quite clear proof that he was a better general warrior. But Beterbiev is comfortably the oldest warrior on pounds for pounds and, despite his resistance to his father, Logic suggests that he will look a little worse in this fight than the last one, just as he was a little worse against Bivol than against Callum Smith in January 2024. Power Beterbaview is still a constant threat to winning by knockout, but I expect age His engine will manage – and maybe even its impact resistance – sufficient for Bivol win the decision.
Matt Christie: Like Fight One, this is an extremely tough choice. And even after using the fact that they were made available earlier, it is not easier to make a decision. Perhaps Beterbiev recently fought an injury and not quite matched, because although I felt that he only pressed it, he tried to ensure long enough to be convincing. Given their age and a potential place to improve, Bivol on points would be my uncertain forecast.
Eric Raskin: I will bend towards Beterbaview, perhaps a little less controversial this time. Bivol really felt pressure when the first fight lasted. Although he was urgently boxing, he did not seem to be able to hurt Beterbavera and learned how tough to discourage him. As long as Beterbiev does not appear more than in October, I think that this time he may start a little earlier and abused the unanimous win in points.
Declan Warrington: By denying something I have already written about this fight, Beterbiev after stopping. I am convinced that he will be won by a warrior, who took advantage of the first fight between them the most – who learned the most about the second and can make the necessary corrections to win a boxing competition. It may be Bivol, which produces a different master class. But if it is Beterbiev – and in the first fight there were tips – it usually means victory in space. Is it too cynical to indicate that if it is as competitive as the first fight, Bivol will probably decide due to the potential of the third fight? If this is not the case, I had similar suspicions before Oleksandr Usyk-Tyson Fury II and I was pleasantly surprised that they turned out to be badly recognized.
Elliot Worsell: As always, I really have no idea, but I will go for Bivol based on the fact that I thought he won the first fight against rounds to lose, and around the ninth or tenth I felt Masterclass. Things changed soon, in rounds 11 and 12, but I can’t deny how I felt how to watch Bivol during the first 10 rounds. To say, Beterbiev will certainly be better for the second time and undoubtedly encourages what happened in rounds 11 and 12 Fight One.
Lucas Ketelle: I believe we will see the draw. The first fight was so close and I doubt that we would see something else in the second.
Jason Langendorf: The rematch is the same as tossed as the first fight when it comes to the way he was perceived before and after. It only depends on what you like. But Beterbiev’s power is a distinguishing feature, and if his knee is well and has not been four in the last four months, this time he will win even more convincing – perhaps even by knockout.

Bivol bow
On Saturday evening, for the first time in a long time – 11 fights back to 2017 – Dmitryry Bivol will enter the ring without a belt.
After he lost the WBA belt to Beterbaiew during the first meeting in October, Bivol will enter the rematch in an unknown Challenger position.
Zhang looks ready to hit
Zhilei “Large Bang” Zhang is in the next capsule competition this week, dealing with the unbeaten German Agit Kabayel.
Callum Smith returns to the substantial stage
After the defeat with Beterbiew in January 2024, Callum Smith admitted that he was considering moving away from sport.
Now, just over 12 months, after returning with Carlos Galvan, the former WBA champion WBA Super Middle Wweight, Smith, returns with a huge lithe clash in hefty weight from Brit Joshua Batsi.
Joseph Parker vs … Frank Warren?
Dubois was forced to withdraw from the card on Thursday after getting ailing. Martin Bakole was thrown as a overdue substitute. However, the 33-year-old was in the Democratic Republic of Congo when a call appeared.
While on Friday evening Parker at the top of scales for a hefty career of 267 pounds, Bakole was still on Riyadh.
Queensberry, Frank Warren, went to Parker on his face.
Josh Padley is coming up
Padley came to Riyadh on Thursday, convinced that he could defeat Stevenson despite his huge weaker marker. The Englishman looked confident when he faced his opponent and the couple exchanged a few words on the stage.
Changing the guard?
The two best lithe hefty scales in Great Britain go on Saturday, when Batsi and Smith are fighting for the chance to be a step closer to the fight for the title of world champion. Will the Batsi youth go too much or will Smith shine?
