Eddie Hearn predicts that Chris Eubank Jr. vs. Conor Benn Rematch will be “Record event” when it is done on September 20. The Matchroom promoter believes that there will be even greater interest in the second fight between Bennem and Eubank Jr.

Hearn says that this leaves “his Excellency” Turki Alalshikh to reveal the location of the event. With him he said that it would be “record”, narrows London’s options.

The Wembley stadium would most likely be, but this is a risky choice, because fans can raise their noses in an unnecessary rematch without absolutely sporty value. This is Celebrity boxing. Eubank Jr. (35-3, 25 KO) is 35 years ancient and is not close to the level of world champions.

Hearn: “Record Breaking” Benn-Eubank 2

“It will be a record event. Conor Benn can fight on Saturday. Is it ready. September 20 is in 12, 13 weeks? IFL TV.

Hearna’s forecasts regarding a record event would make more sense if Benn knocked down one or two solid medium weight lifetime between the other fight with Eubank Jr. fans. Perceive him as a greater chance in a rematch and would be more likely to buy an event at PPV. It doesn’t happen. They will both return only to collect their payments from Saudis.

“We have a contract with Saudi Arabia for two fights on the same conditions regarding hydration,” said Hearn with a 10-pound irrigation clause. “Chris Eubank Jr. slept on Saturday morning because he was fine, and weighed clothes and a jacket. He was under the pound. Rehydration was not a problem.”

Benn-Eubank 2 Rehydration clause

People do too much from the 10-pound of a combat hydration clause. Although it will be burdensome for Eubank Jr, he will handle it and still dominates Benn because he is a much better warrior. Benn is a constrained warrior who should compete in welterweight, and even in this weight class he would be well -being. It is not at the level of the best contenders, such as Shakhram Giyasov or Eimantas Stanionis.

Hearn knows better than Benn’s matching with these guys and he would definitely not be crazy enough to put him in the fight with Master WBO Brian Norman Jr. And watch him destroy him. British fans’ interest in Benn evaporated day by day after the brutal early defeat of Norman Jr.

“160, I think he had a problem. Many fighters are fighting by weight, but it’s his weight.

Terence Crawford Declares One Current Fighter Unbeatable: "He Will Take Over"

Terence Crawford believes one man will follow in his footsteps and retire as an unbeaten world champion, essentially becoming a generational great in the process.

‘Bud’ became not only a world champion but a three-division undisputed king, ending his career with a legacy-defining unanimous decision triumph over Canelo Alvarez.

Even before that, Crawford was considered an elite pound-for-pound operator for over a decade, with many believing his most complete performance came against Errol Spence Jr in 2023.

But while the American is perhaps in a class of his own, he nonetheless believes that four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson can achieve a similar degree of success.

The 29-year-old claimed a career-best victory in January, losing just one round as he dethroned Teofimo Lopez with a masterful unanimous decision victory.

Having now signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, though, it remains to be seen whether he defends his WBO super-lightweight title or pursues opportunities elsewhere.

Either way, Crawford has told Fight Hub TV that Stevenson has the mental and physical attributes to remain unbeaten at the highest level.

“I think Shakur [will take over]for sure, Shakur hands down. I think, given the opportunity, he’s going to show the world that he’s the best. His mental, his defense [sets him apart]takes his craft serious. He’s the type of the fighter that you gotta pull out the gym. [Is he beatable?] Not at all. Everybody [is] beatable, but I don’t see nobody beating him.”

Since inking a promotional deal with Zuffa, Stevenson has named Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as two potential opponents who would cement his greatness.

The slick southpaw could therefore compete anywhere between lightweight and 147lbs, depending on which division offers the most realistic opportunities.
