Gervonta Davis is not guilty of boxing more fights

Andre Ward thought about Gervont “Tank” Davis about him, he would not owe anyone who could remain in sport because of his heritage.

Why Gervonta Davis is not guilty of boxing

Boxing commentator Ward notes that Davis (30-0-1, 28 KO) has never claimed that he was in sport for the greatest warrior of all time. Ward states that the tank was partly under the influence of Floyd Mayweather, noticing how it focused on another type of heritage in terms of generating money.

Andre thinks Gervont is more focused on these three things:

  • Earning money
  • Selling tickets
  • Securing his future for himself and his family

Jake Paul’s exhibition defines the heritage of money

It is expected that the match of the Davis exhibition with Jake Paul has November 14, will bring him $ 40 million $ 50 million. It is a fight that was widely criticized by fans and the media, who perceive this as a circus type clash due to mismatch.

“Who will win? Who really cares? [I] Tank Davis does not seem to ask for his fight with Paul for the media. A nonchalant attitude goes to how Davis approached his career. He did not look for fights that fans wanted to see Shakur Stevenson, Devin Haney and Teofimo Lopez.

Analysis of confidential information: why the tank prioritizes security

“If his main goal is money, and its main goal is to get out of boxing without injury and retire on his own conditions, should his fans be on board, if it is not even his goal? How can we stop him if he does not stick to it?” Boxing commentator Andre Ward about Gervont “Tank” Davis said ATSF O Tank Davis.

Ward moves a good right. Davis explained from the jump that he focused on money, which is why he fought Ryan Garcia, Romero and Frank Martin in the past.

That is why Tank is fighting with Jake Paul at the exhibition on November 14, instead of renovating Lamont Roach or the fight against Shakur Stevenson. Why fight these guys when there is no money in it and he would be the only draw? Compared to these two, they can’t parched flies, and the tank doesn’t make sense to stay and fight.

If Davis is lucky, his fight with Paul will be competitive enough to be a demand for a rematch. Can you imagine that Tank will receive another 40 million dollars+ withdrawals? It would be perfect.

Terence Crawford Declares One Current Fighter Unbeatable: "He Will Take Over"

Terence Crawford believes one man will follow in his footsteps and retire as an unbeaten world champion, essentially becoming a generational great in the process.

‘Bud’ became not only a world champion but a three-division undisputed king, ending his career with a legacy-defining unanimous decision triumph over Canelo Alvarez.

Even before that, Crawford was considered an elite pound-for-pound operator for over a decade, with many believing his most complete performance came against Errol Spence Jr in 2023.

But while the American is perhaps in a class of his own, he nonetheless believes that four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson can achieve a similar degree of success.

The 29-year-old claimed a career-best victory in January, losing just one round as he dethroned Teofimo Lopez with a masterful unanimous decision victory.

Having now signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, though, it remains to be seen whether he defends his WBO super-lightweight title or pursues opportunities elsewhere.

Either way, Crawford has told Fight Hub TV that Stevenson has the mental and physical attributes to remain unbeaten at the highest level.

“I think Shakur [will take over]for sure, Shakur hands down. I think, given the opportunity, he’s going to show the world that he’s the best. His mental, his defense [sets him apart]takes his craft serious. He’s the type of the fighter that you gotta pull out the gym. [Is he beatable?] Not at all. Everybody [is] beatable, but I don’t see nobody beating him.”

Since inking a promotional deal with Zuffa, Stevenson has named Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as two potential opponents who would cement his greatness.

The slick southpaw could therefore compete anywhere between lightweight and 147lbs, depending on which division offers the most realistic opportunities.
