Floyd Schofield Sr. Eyes Shakur Stevenson vs. William Zepeda’s winner in the next fight SON

Floyd Schofield Sr. He says that he hopes that his son, Schofield Jr., can face the winner on July 12 between the airy champion of WBO Shakur Stevenson and William Zeda. He believes that Schofield Jr. (19-0, 13 KO) can defeat both and wants him to have the opportunity.

Next Alalshikha fight program

The chances of getting one of them Schofield are slim, especially if Shakur is the one who wins in this fight. It is believed that Turki Alalshikh will start the unification struggle between Stevenson and the lightweight champion of WBA Gervont Davis. He will not want to match him with a great impact Schofield and make him ruin his plans.

“We can’t wait. We can’t wait, and people don’t do certain things to other people to stop them from reaching the ring, if they are not afraid,” said Floyd Schofield Sr. Fight Hub tv About the desire of the winner Shakur Stevenson vs. William Zepeda.

If Zepeda wins, an immediate rematch from Shakur will probably take place, because there is too much money in his career so as not to avenge the loss. Although Shakur is not entertaining for watching and he is probably unable to defeat warriors such as Schofield, Andy Cruz or Abdullah Mason, he is more popular. Turki likes boxers and will make sure that the rematch from Zepeda will happen immediately.

Stevenson’s fears of hand injuries

“We hope Shakur will win, but we also want Zepeda to win. Whoever wins should fight Schofield.” So it doesn’t really bother us who wins. But if Shakur’s hands can’t stand, he will lose. “

It would be better for Schofield if Stevenson won because he would show him that he was never afraid of him. He was unwell when he withdrew from the planned fight with Shakur in Riyadh in February last year. In addition, Stevenson is more popular than Zepeda, and Turki Alalshikh has already said it would be “Very nervous” If he was knocked out on July 12, because yes “Great plans” For him.

“So his hands must rise to a pressure fighter, who throws 100 hits the round. So it all depends on whether Shakura’s hands will persist. I don’t care how much they hurt. If his hands hurt, he doesn’t intend to throw too much,” said Floyd Sr. About the fight of Stevenson from Zepeda.

Even if Shakura’s hands can’t stand, he will hit and run away like in the fight against Edwin de los Santos. Apparently he fought with wounded hands in this fight and spent the whole fight knocking and starting.

Fans hated it. Stevenson has no power or going out to hit to stay in your pocket, to try to match Zepeda’s punch. So Shakur will rely on amateur style fights and counts on judges to give him rounds.

However, fans circulate that night at the Louis Armstrong Boo Stevenson stadium all night, as in his fights with De los Santos and Jeremia Nakathila, the judges can decide to get him for Zepeda. And so they should do it, but we know that Shakur is a page and it counts.

Terence Crawford Declares One Current Fighter Unbeatable: He Will Take Over

Terence Crawford Declares One Current Fighter Unbeatable: "He Will Take Over"

Terence Crawford believes one man will follow in his footsteps and retire as an unbeaten world champion, essentially becoming a generational great in the process.

‘Bud’ became not only a world champion but a three-division undisputed king, ending his career with a legacy-defining unanimous decision triumph over Canelo Alvarez.

Even before that, Crawford was considered an elite pound-for-pound operator for over a decade, with many believing his most complete performance came against Errol Spence Jr in 2023.

But while the American is perhaps in a class of his own, he nonetheless believes that four-division world champion Shakur Stevenson can achieve a similar degree of success.

The 29-year-old claimed a career-best victory in January, losing just one round as he dethroned Teofimo Lopez with a masterful unanimous decision victory.

Having now signed with Dana White’s Zuffa Boxing, though, it remains to be seen whether he defends his WBO super-lightweight title or pursues opportunities elsewhere.

Either way, Crawford has told Fight Hub TV that Stevenson has the mental and physical attributes to remain unbeaten at the highest level.

“I think Shakur [will take over]for sure, Shakur hands down. I think, given the opportunity, he’s going to show the world that he’s the best. His mental, his defense [sets him apart]takes his craft serious. He’s the type of the fighter that you gotta pull out the gym. [Is he beatable?] Not at all. Everybody [is] beatable, but I don’t see nobody beating him.”

Since inking a promotional deal with Zuffa, Stevenson has named Devin Haney and Gervonta Davis as two potential opponents who would cement his greatness.

The slick southpaw could therefore compete anywhere between lightweight and 147lbs, depending on which division offers the most realistic opportunities.
