Floyd Mayaather once again explained his position, continuing to loudly supporting Israel during one of the most destructive wars in its history.
The invincible boxing legend came to Tel Aviv this week to open the stock exchange in Tel Aviv and meet with Israeli soldiers, a few months after surviving a violent slack in London in London for his pro-Israeli views.
Unwavering Mayweather support for Israel
Mayweather, 50-0 in the ring, told IDF soldiers during his last visit:
“Know that you are the winners. I am here to support you and I will continue to come. I am proud of the state of Israel.”
The American icon also ate in the Bayz restaurant near Hilton Beach and was welcomed as part of a private delegation, showing no signs of slowing his public support despite widespread controversy.
In December 2024, Mayweather was caught in the middle of chaos in Great Britain. The viral video falsely claimed that the dissatisfied fan hit a boxing star on the streets of London during the reaction.
“Mayweather later denied that he had been hit and explained that his security team quickly intervened when the tension escalated.
“I wasn’t hit,” he said. “People tried to press me and my safety took care of me.”
Reaction and re -resolution in Great Britain
But the incident seemed only to strengthen Mayweather’s determination.
In addition to his symbolic performances, Mayweather began the Mayweather Israel initiative – a charity campaign that provides birthday presents to orphans affected by war. The initiative includes a journey to travel and promises monthly visits to support widows and children caught in conflict.
“It’s a pretty place with wonderful people,” said Mayweather. “I will still come here to my death.
“When I stood behind Israel, I was not looking for a prize; I thought I did what was right. I take off my hat to soldiers, those warriors from Israel. I’m 100%behind you.”
When Mayweather still flies on the chosen side, people against the ongoing war fired a warning for the former boxer.
“In the future you should stay away from Great Britain,” said one of the answer to Israel’s promotion by Mayweather.
Another added: “Maybe he was in the head too many times.”
Beyond The Lines: Charity and political attitude
Mayweather also has support, and the commentator describes the former pound for the pound of the king as an “absolute treasure”.
Despite the ongoing fights in gas and the growing international criticism, Mayweather remained unwavering. His message divided the opinion and equally drew attention to the war.
A five -member world champion is not a stranger in controversy, but this chapter in his career after the Backa turned out to be more politically accused than ever.
While some applaud his loyalty, others claim that his attitude risks the inflammation of the tension even more.
However, Mayweather does not want to withdraw in a typical way.
“My name is Money Mayweather, but I’m more than money. I mean people. And I’m standing with Israel.”
When the bombs are still falling and diplomatic efforts, Floyd Mayaather is still blowing, this time in the form of solidarity, a charity organization and unanimous support.
Regardless of whether the world of boxing agrees with him or not, one thing is certain: the voice of Mayweather still carries power, and he uses it far beyond the rope.
