Floyd Mayweather did not want to be beaten with gloves loaded with plaster, so he never agreed to face Antonio Margarito.

The boxing legend discussed the opportunity to face Margarito during his perfection when there were opponents Miguel Cotto and Manny Pacquiao. Mayweather was afraid of walking where they did his rivals after Margarito was suspended for a year in the controversy of gloves.
