Mike
Davis has issued an apology to Nurullo
Aliev for lashing out after their clash in the
Ultimate Fighting Championship.

They locked horns in a lightweight matchup at
UFC Abu Dhabi. Aliev imposed his will on Davis on the ground
for 15 minutes to earn a unanimous decision victory, marking the
former's fourth straight decision inside the Octagon.

The lackluster loss left Davis visibly frustrated. “Beast Boyâ€
subsequently lashed out in a now-deleted Instagram video.

“For the UFC, I thought you were cutting wrestlers, bro, all they
do is suck d*ck for 15 minutes,†Davis said. “What are we doing?
You have been cutting people on undefeated streaks all the time for
wrestling. This isn't RAF. This is g*y, bro… G*y people in the UFC,
get them the f*ck out of here. Stand with me, I just want to bang,
bro.â€

However, Davis (12-4) has since apologized to Aliev (12-0). He was
admittedly frustrated with the loss, even more so as he was
allegedly sick going into the fight.

“[Nurullo
Aliev], hopefully you see this. I understand you were being a
nice guy in the end- amazing sportsmanship,†Davis wrote on X. “In
the heat of the moment, I was/am severely disappointed in myself.
In what I went through to help the @ufc by flying out here, while
sick and injured. Disappointed in what I was told before the fight,
Disappointed that I wasn't able to give them what they wanted and
secure my dream. I hope you never have to experience the pain of a
loss. Its not your fault, you did what you are extremely good at
and it worked. I respect that. I respect you. I appreciate you for
taking the fight and being present in it all. I apologize for what
i said. Im a damn good fighter and my frustration took over and my
fear of not being able to help my family made me act out. Wish you
great success brother.â€

However, Davis has still not changed his opinion about the fight.
He doesn't think it was a dominant win for Aliev, as the undefeated
Tajik barely landed any damage.

“If I did nothing and he did nothing who the f*ck got dominated,â€
Davis wrote in a later X post. “Its embarrassing that you can win a
fight by stalling. You can’t even call that wrestling. He just held
onto me from bell to bell. Even gave him option to break off and
strike me free of charge and he just keep holding on. We are in the
entertainment industry. We get paid when we make the crowd scream.

knowâ€

Davis has now dropped two of his last three fights. Meanwhile,
Aliev has finished only two of his 12 career wins so far.

Zaynukov received some criticism from Khabib
Nurmagomedov despite a successful
Ultimate Fighting Championship debut.

Zaynukov took on fellow debutant Damian
Rzepecki (10-1) in a lightweight matchup at
UFC Abu Dhabi. The Russian unleashed vicious elbows to batter
Rzepecki, who showed immense heart in going the distance. “Wild
Chanco†eventually earned a unanimous decision win, handing
Rzepecki his first professional loss.

However, Zaynukov's teammate and mentor Nurmagomedov still found a
flaw in his performance. While the UFC Hall of Famer lauded
Zaynukov on his win, he didn't like the young prospect from his
team missing a takedown. Meanwhile, fellow teammate Islam
Makhachev congratulated Zaynukov on the exciting victory.

“Yeah, we spoke immediately after I got out of the cage,†Zaynukov
said at the post-fight press conference. “Khabib said that it was a
great fight, it was an exciting fight, fun fight. ‘But you missed a
takedown,' he said, ‘And that's not OK.' Islam just said,
‘Congratulations, that was a fun, exciting fight.' But they kind of
expected that this was going to be that type of fight.â€

Zaynukov (9-0) was already quite popular on social media even
before earning his UFC contract on
Dana White's Contender Series last year. The 31-year-old had
significant hype behind him going into his Octagon debut in Abu
Dhabi, further boosted by the viral “John Pork†meme.

Erceg has addressed his brutal loss to Ramazonbek
Temirov, marking the former title challenger's fourth defeat in
the
Ultimate Fighting Championship.

Erceg (14-5) took on Temirov (20-3) in a flyweight matchup in the
co-main event of
UFC Abu Dhabi. Temirov had an evident power advantage over
Erceg, who had planned to take his opponent into deep waters.
However, the Australian didn't have a chance to get going as his
Uzbek counterpart put him to sleep with a pair of perfectly timed
right hands following a barrage of strikes in the opening
round.

Erceg now claims he had a great camp and felt in good shape ahead
of the fight, although it didn't go his way. He thanked the UFC and

Instagram video. “I had a great camp. I felt fantastic. But

Erceg was fast-tracked to a title shot against Alexandre
Pantoja in just his fourth UFC outing in 2024. He came up short
against Pantoja in a valiant effort, which kicked off a three-fight
skid for the Aussie 125-pounder. Erceg had bounced back with wins
over Ode
Osbourne and Tim Elliott
before the latest loss against Temirov, who has finished two of his
three UFC wins in the first round so far, establishing himself as
one of the most promising up-and-comers in the division.
