Eddie Hearn reveals Anthony Joshua a pension plan and date
Eddie Hearn believes that Anthony Joshua will probably retire from boxing next year.
Hearn promoted Joshua for his entire professional career of the 32-Wall, because the man from Watford fell over after winning gold at the Olympic Games in 2012.
The 35-year-old left the ring destructive knockout in the fifth round Win at the Wembley stadium.
“AJ” has a return this year after a successful elbow surgery, and Hearn believes that his allegation may call his career in 2026, provided that he secures two fights with the long -term rival of Tyson Fury, who retired in January after returning to defeat Oleksandr Usyk.
“AJ would leave the ring a little over a year before he returned to the ring,” said the 46-year-old The Ariel Helwani Show.
“He will get off the operation. I don’t think the Fury will be ready to fight anyway.
“But I expect it to be someone who will prepare him for a really great fight in 2026, and probably 2026 will be his last year in sport.
“It is probably three fights.
“If I advise AJ, we came back this year, we have two fights of Tyson Fury, what else can you do?
“Maybe fight Daniel Dubois, but I think that for me, when AJ fights with Tyson Fury, he did all this.
“I would like him to have another crack in Dubois and I would like him to have another crack in Uyk, but you just go on.
“Now, if we get to next year and he still shoots all cylinders, 2026 will not be his last year.
“But for me something is right about returning this year, defeating Tyson Fury twice and sailing to the sunset.”
Joshua was associated with a hit from Fury for a decade, but the long -awaited couple meeting is not yet materialized.
Hearn admits that Dillian Whyte was a leader from “AJ” in his return, but the man from Brixton is to face the growing heavyweight prospect, Moses Itacu on August 16 in Riyadh.
According to Joshua, the former world champion in heavyweight WBC, is an option for Joshua, according to the head of the match, providing a man from Alabama in a good way when he returns on June 27 against Tyrrell Herndon.
Wilder-Joshua’s fight was once one of the most effective clashes in the division, especially when both men were world champions.
However, the perspective of the couple’s meeting lost a lot of its splendor, especially because Wilder won only one of the last five fights.

Jaron Ennis is the bookmakers’ main favorite to defeat Xander Zayas in their highly anticipated world title clash on Saturday in Brooklyn.
Ennis challenges Zayas for the WBO and WBA super welterweight belts at the Barclays Center live on DAZN pay-per-view.

On Wednesday, Lewis Crocker heads to Australia to defend his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro for the first time.
Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.
Crocker (22-0, 11 KO) became world champion in September, defeating Paddy Donovan twice before winning the rematch by split decision.
Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.
Paro (27-1, 16 KO) is trying to become a world champion in two weight categories, having previously reigned in the super-lightweight division.
The 30-year-old won the title with a unanimous decision victory over Subriel Matias in Puerto Rico before winning the belt in his first defense against Richardson Hitchins.
The Australian has since won twice, overtaking David Papot in his last appearance in September.
McKean meets Taliva
