Derek Chisora accurately predicts the Oleksandr Usyk vs Fabio Wardley fight
Derek Chisora has warned Fabio Wardley against a potential attack on undisputed heavyweight world champion Oleskander Usyk.
Wardley called out Usyk after his drama Break in the 11th round With Joseph Parker Last Saturday, Chisora’s fight took place at the O2 Arena at ringside.
Chisora knows better than most about the challenge the Ukrainian faces, having fought him 12 rounds in October 2020 and lost.
Usyk has already defeated five Britons, including Daniel Dubois, whom he stopped in five rounds of their rematch in July, to regain the undisputed championship, and Chisora supports him in adding Wardley to that record with a stoppage victory.
“Usyk will get rid of him in less than six rounds,” the 41-year-old said Sports of the Sun.
– Because Usyk tells him to work when he doesn’t want to work.
“Usyk is a beast.
“He needs to be much fitter than he is now.
“With Usyk, there are no boxing skills, you have to be in good shape.
“You have to stay with him.
“It forces you to move, it forces you to work, it forces you to think, it robs you of energy.
“One moment he’s here, the next he’s there.”
Usyk was ordered to defend his WBO title against then interim champion Parker, but after an injury, his negotiations were extended by 90 days.
Following Wardley’s victory, the 38-year-old now has to face the Ipswich fighter or the belt will become vacant.
Chisora, who finalizes the December trilogy Dillian Whyte will fight his last professional fight, it is doubtful whether Usyk will face the 30-year-old.
“I believe he won’t get this fight,” he added.
“Usyk will ask for more money.
“That’s what he wants, massive money.”
Usyk, who turns 39 in January, said last month he would fight until he was 41.
The two-weight world champion has been linked with a third fight against retired Tyson Fury and has ruled out a future fight with rising prospect Moses Itauma.
“No, I won’t fight Itauma,” he said Ready to fight.
“He’s youthful, he always teases me.
– And he said himself that he doesn’t beat grandparents.
“I can’t say who exactly because negotiations are ongoing. I would be lying if I gave his name.”

Jaron Ennis is the bookmakers’ main favorite to defeat Xander Zayas in their highly anticipated world title clash on Saturday in Brooklyn.
Ennis challenges Zayas for the WBO and WBA super welterweight belts at the Barclays Center live on DAZN pay-per-view.

On Wednesday, Lewis Crocker heads to Australia to defend his IBF welterweight world title against Liam Paro for the first time.
Crocker will face Paro at the Pat Rafter Arena in Queensland, live on DAZN in the UK and Kayo Sports in Australia.
Crocker (22-0, 11 KO) became world champion in September, defeating Paddy Donovan twice before winning the rematch by split decision.
Man from Belfast recorded his second victory over Donovan after the first victory in March last year, and his rival was disqualified for hitting him after the bell.
Paro (27-1, 16 KO) is trying to become a world champion in two weight categories, having previously reigned in the super-lightweight division.
The 30-year-old won the title with a unanimous decision victory over Subriel Matias in Puerto Rico before winning the belt in his first defense against Richardson Hitchins.
The Australian has since won twice, overtaking David Papot in his last appearance in September.
McKean meets Taliva
Heavyweight Demsey McKean will look to continue his rebuild when he faces Liam Talivaa for the vacant IBF Pan Pacific title.
