Deontay Wilder thought he would have an simple fight with Harold Sconiers, but he suffered the first to knock down in his career.
To add to Mystique Bout, the material from the knocking, which is said to be longer than ten seconds, disappeared after the consequence.
“The Bronze Bomber” had a weight, opening some bad feelings between the couple. The veteran placed the newborn claimant in his place when Wilder was heavily dropped.
Sconiers had Wilder on the ropes and looked like he could end the fight before the bell sounded.
At one point Wilder overturned the switch. Wilder eliminated Sconiers at the top of the effort in 2010, winning a four -way space.
Some who witnessed the fighting ring say that the fight should end when the Sconiers planted Wilder.
The victory meant that Wilder threw everyone out in four rounds. The run that lasted until he becomes a heavyweight champion of WBC against berane Stiverne.
But the victory brought several competition bones, which lasted fifteen years.
Golden Boy Promotions, who issued a competition at Fantasy Springs Casino, is accused of buying the material of the overwhelming Wilder. However, World Boxing News has examined the whole incident and still thinks that Golden Boy has only recorded the main event.
Witnesses say Wilder hit the canvas, which adds further controversy.
Sconiers, who appeared only in a slow notification, showed that Wilder had solemn weaknesses that appeared in several future duels. However, whether Oscar de la Hoya protected Wilder in the early years is debatable.
Wilder would win the most lucrative award of this sport five years later and rules for the next half decades. Things could be different if Sconiers received a knockout.
Sconiers, discussing his win in Sportbible, remembers how Wilder slowed him down during scaling.
“During weighing we appear, we are face to face, just like us, at some point Wilder takes a little at me.
“It just pushes my nose into my face. And what I really felt was a lack of respect. It was really disrespect, an exaggerated intimidation technique.
“I know he is a newborn hotshot. He must try to sell tickets, but I felt it wasn’t.
Fantasy springs
“For example, I had all these fights. I was near the block more times than he could count with better competition than he can.
“He is just starting and trying to go. Who thinks he is to approach me?
“Yes, I go as an opponent, but do not show me such a disrespect. I have nothing against Wilder. Now I really applaud him at the top after our fight and how he could keep it.
“I think it’s amazing, but it could be a bit scorching at the moment, newborn and naive. I said it was a bit of respect,” he summarized.
Sconiers lasted only seven more duels before retiring, but he still has this story to tell.
As for Wilder, it would take the recurring world champion, Tyson Fury, to destroy Puncher Tuscaloos despite years of close calls with other opponents.
Wilder vs. Sconiers protrudes, probably more than his return to victory against Luis Ortiz and Artur Szpilka.
The fact that the evidence is not available would always leave the questions about the win.
