Deontay Wilder has two rounds to save his career

Deontay Wilder vs Joseph Parker

Deontay Wilder can win his long -awaited fight against Tyrell Herndon and still be a losing on June 27.

The bronze bomber signed a contract with Global Combat Collective [GCC] To start your unsuccessful career, agreeing to the headline at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas.

Wilder’s return, entitled “Legacy Reloaded”, former heavyweight champion WBC, who puts his reputation on the line. Since winning the heavyweight title WBC in 2015, Wilder has never fought uncontrollable opponents.

The last one was Jason Gavern on August 16 in the center of Stubhub [now Dignity Health Sports Park] At Carson, California. The victory was a heated -up before Wilder challenged Berman Stiverne on the WBC belt.

Eleven years Wilder will end this summer in the next fight against bulky weight Boxrec.

According to GCC, Wilder [43-4-1, 42 KOs] He is “ready to free his destructive power again” on the BLK Prime platform.

It is very likely that he will become here and that’s why Wilder and his team chose Herndon. But if this is not the case, Wilder is in real trouble.

The fact that the debutant Richard Torrez pulled Herndon in two rounds only in his sixth fight, gives Wilder a problem. Herndon lasted only 4 minutes and 26 seconds with Torrez, which means that Wilder has a tiny time to end his work with one of his trademarks.

If he does not win as part of a two -level limit, fans and media ask questions about his future at the highest level. Tuscaloosa knows this and therefore the knockout in the first round is preferred.

GCC adds: “It’s more than just a fight. It’s a statement. It’s a mission.

“This is another chapter in Wilder’s legendary career. He returns with something that can be proved. Standing on his way is a risky and hungry Tyrrell Herndon, a bulky weight that has nothing to lose and everything you can gain.”

In what seems to be the promise of the fall of Herndon, the information is: “When these two warriors collide, expect fireworks, expect a drama and expect a knockout that you will never forget.”

This first part is also correct. This is more than just the return of the fight for Wilder. A string of feeble performances, including the defeat of Tyson Fury, Joseph Parker and Zhilei Zhang, seriously damaged his terrifying personality.

Wilder is no longer the force he was, and even when the Herndon was cut out in the first round, doubts that the 39-year-old intentions will remain.

Does he fight Herndon to get another payment against Anthony Joshua or Francis Ngannou, or is he building something more significant?

Future press conferences will reveal a lot, including hard questions about his personal life. The former fiancée Tellla Swift made sedate accusations against Wilder when he was in Saudi Arabia of Zhang, so it would be captivating to check if Wilder would pay with them.

For now, Wilder has a significant accumulation for a boxer with just one win in five years.

“Deontay Wilder is one of the most electrifying fighters he has ever seen. His return will be legendary,” said Nelson Lopez Jr., CEO and founder of Global Combat Collective.

“Legacy reloaded concerns history in creation, and we bring fans in the front and in the middle for every blow, every moment and every knockout.”

Joshua Chasse, president of Global Combat Collective, added: “This event is a changing game in combat sport.

“Thanks to Wilder, an amazing support card and the best future fighters ready to make up for their sign, Legacy Reloaded brings something really special to boxing.”

It will have to be, or curtains for Wilder.
