Deontay Wilder compared Malik Scott after partnership
Published
1 year agoon
Coach Malik Scott is still in the face of criticism of boxing fans when Deontay Wilder is approaching his return in the second ring.
There were heavyweight Scott trained Wilder for one victory in three matches earlier among Wilder’s call to go.
Scott’s exact contribution to the current Wilder camp is not clear, because the usual wild posts of the couple together are absent.
The only proof that can pass are interviews conducted by Scott about Wilder’s return. Scott still comments on Wilder’s future and potential goals for future fights.
Whether it means that they are as solid as always, this is another question.
Tactics of both Joseph Parker’s failures and Zhilei Zhang did not achieve the desired results, and outside the knowledge of the highest level coach seems to be the lack of knowledge.
Against Parker, Wilder could not blame his shots and remained straightforward to hit during twelve rounds. Against Zhang, under Eddie Hearn at the 5 vs 5 tournament, Wilder immediately was in trouble when he tried to fight fire with fire and eventually he was seriously knocked out.
Criticism of Deontay Wilder under Malik Scott
Another weighty weight of Derek Chisor is one of the few, such as the best coach Shane McGuigan, who agrees that Scott did not improve Wilder.
“He joined forces with Malik Scott, took a lion and transformed it into a cat,” said Chisora Seconds. “I’m nervous. I even sent a message to Deontay Wilder.
“I say:” You have to get rid of Malik. He is crazy. If he is not hungry enough to train you to be an animal, what’s going on? “
“Fight he [Deontay] He lost against Joseph Parker. He was not supposed to lose this fight – added the British star.
For boxing fans, the concept of Scott Training Wilder is less than mixed for his return. Some perceive the partnership for conducting the course due to Wilder’s performances under the direction of Scott.
Wilder, whose current boxing record sounds 43-4-1, 42 KO, has too many chances and too many blows. This style leads to the same type of problems that Scott had during his professional career.
One of the commentators even stated that Wilder went back because he is now an ordinary claimant, just like Scott returned during the day.
After Wilder’s return against Tyrrell Herndon, Fan said: “I would like it not to be true, but I must say: Malik Scott turned Deontay Wilder into Malik Scott.
“I’m going to watch, but I don’t know why, they added.
Another stated: “Malik Scott, who does not have to take a shot in the head, may be the most risky man in the world for the wild.
“Deontay must leisurely down Malik and retire yesterday.”
I added the third: “Malik Scott is the worst thing that has ever happened to Wilder. Deontay needs a fresh coach so quickly.”
Wilder’s return
Quite a hard rating, but the fact that Wilder lost three of his four duels with a “brown bomber” tells his own story.
Wilder remains steadfast to a man who was a friend who turned into a trainer. However, the losses towards Parker (unanimous decision) and Zhang cost Wilder very much when the former world champion WBC weighty lost in the fight of Anthony Joshua.
It is positive for her husband Kate Abdo to say that his two performances with Wilder were solid. In the first round of Robert Helenius and the fight of the year in 2021, they try with Tyson Fury.
In the face of Herndon, he is an exercise for Wilder for Wilder and can lead to potential fights with Francis Ngannou and Joshua.
On June 27, it is a must date at Charles Koch Arena in Wichita, Kansas, because another loss is the end of the way for the professional boxing career of Deontay Wilder.
Victory and a spectacular way, for Tuscaloos, from Alabama, tears the pressure of Wilder and of course Malik Scott.
Premium tickets for Wilder’s return are a 50% discount.

Oscar Collazo remained undefeated and won the WBO International flyweight title on Saturday night with a devastating two-round victory over Neider Valdez.
The unified WBA, WBO and Ring Magazine minimumweight champion improved to 15-0 with 12 knockouts after defeating Valdez three times before Mexico’s corner stopped the fight at 2:35 of the second round.
Making his final appearance at 112 pounds, Collazo showed his strength immediately transferred to the upper division, defeating Valdez from the opening bell at Frontwave Arena in Oceanside, California.
The Puerto Rican striker repeatedly found a home for his left hand and left no doubt about the outcome before the fight was called off.
“I felt great at 112 pounds. I love this division. In fact, I want to stay here for a long time,” Collazo said.
Knockdowns
Collazo admitted that he had already called for the fight to be stopped.
“After the third knockdown I was basically saying, ‘Never again, never again’. It was the right decision for his safety. His corner was well checked.
The victory added another belt to Collazo’s collection and enhanced his growing reputation as one of boxing’s most invigorating champions in the lower weight division.
Looking ahead, Collazo has made it clear who he wants next.
“The fight with Ricardo Sandoval definitely interests me. I really want that fight. I’m ready for gigantic fights. I’m ready to make history. That’s the fight I want next.”
Sandoval currently holds the WBA flyweight title, making this one of the most attractive fights available if Collazo continues his climb in weight.
The event was broadcast live on DAZN and was promoted by Golden Boy Promotions in partnership with Miguel Cotto Promotions.
