Decision to divide Barboza over Catterall, temporary claims WBO Title

Arnold Barboza Jr took the divided decision of victory over Jacek Cattell in Manchester, England, winning the short-lived title of WBO Super Lightweight and remaining an undefeated victory.

Barboza (32-0, 11 KO) took two cards 115-113, and Cattell (30-2, 13 KO) received the same result 115-113 on the third card. The bad left hook unofficially shot him 115-113 for Barbozy, which was on the road and entered slightly weaker.

Talking at least it was not a matter of fireworks, which was also not a surprise, because the fight adapted to each other a couple of qualified craftsmen, and became more about choosing places and an attempt to score points than any continuous crime or enormous exchange.

33-year-old Barboza felt that he won even more clearly, but he did not cast any shadow towards the judges or Cattell, and said that he hoped that he was picking up several fans in Manchester.

“To be forthright, I didn’t have so close, I thought I won more rounds, but it’s his yard,” Barboza said, adding that he wasn’t sure what would happen next, but he knows that his team would work on it.

TheOfimo Lopez is a clear option, but it will depend on how everyone knows, what Lopez really wants to do.

Barboza and Catterall showed great respect, and Catterall said that he would support this Barboza and winning the full WBO title.

“A challenging fight, strict fight, without arguments. Congratulations to Barbozy. I thought that I did enough time there, but it wasn’t good enough,” said Catterall. “I just want to see how he continued and fights for the title of world champion, I hope he defeats Teo. Proster back to the gym for me, we’ll come back.”

Card results

  • Reece Bellotti quite well -dominated rival Michael Gomez Jrforcing the corner stop after nine rounds. Gomez (21-2, 6 KO) fell in the fifth and eighth rounds and simply could not keep up Bellotti (20-5, 15 KO), which retains British and community titles Super Peather Wweight. Gomez was a game, but he is never really very competitive after the opening round, with too much pace of Belotti, and Gomez was too effortless for Belotti. Gomez was not elated with the break, but it was probably the right phone. He didn’t have a real path to victory.
  • Pat McCormack It turned in the dominant performance in “Fight on weight” on paper with a veteran Robbie Davies JrBy winning three of the charm, before Davies was pulled out after the sixth round. McCormack (7-0, 5 KO) is 30 years this summer and will probably want to move this year in the Semi-Ied Department, which takes place for many modern blood, at least, and passed the test, which was really worth, with flying colors.
  • Jazza dickens handed Zelfa Barrett The main failure in search of the last return to the world championship title, winning a victory with a unanimous decision in a 10-round super-feather weight. Dickens (35-5, 14 KO) can really count this one of the best profits, and brings 33-year-old Southpaw to talk about 130 pounds. 31 -year -old Barrett has never broken and he just can’t see that it would happen. Several times he has a leg on this bank, but you have to wonder if it really is for him or cultivate a guy who we remember as a crucial a bit than the sum of his part. But it was a good fight, well matched, and Dickens won the victory. The results are 96-94, 97-93 and 97-93.

Keyshawn Davis thinks he can get an early Denys Berinchyk stopwatch

Before today’s main ESPN event between Denys Berinchyk and Keyshawn Davis is at least gentle tension. Davis seems to pass his indignation and says Sky Sports He will want to do it very early in the evening for the prevailing owner of the titles, to the extent that he calls the knockout in the first round.

“I just feel that I can do it and I can do it,” said Davis Sky Sports. “Just what I can do. I have a knockout of the second round [in his last fight against Gustavo Lemos]Why can I go to the first round? This is of course a different opponent, a very different style. But I feel that I can do it in this fight. “

Davis continues, saying that he would want to impose himself from the opening bell and sending a clear message that he is not able to Bernichyk from previous opponents.

In fact, Davis has no reputation of a massive impact, but it is keen and has the ability to connect his blows smoothly and with accuracy. If he could deal with KO from Berinchyk in the first round, it would certainly cause victory, because Berinchyk was never detained (alone at the beginning of the fight), but it was only the child of Momentum Davis will look for featherlight.

Denys Berinchyk wants to keep the title against Keyhawn Davis on Friday

This Friday, Keyshawn Davis gets his first world title when he challenges Master WBO Denys Berinchyk. Both fighters appeared today at the last press conference and it seemed that it all began with a relatively tame start, until Davis accused Berinchyk of creating racist gestures.

“I want to deal with the fact that this guy came to America to give me bananas and watermelons with a note,” said Davis. “It’s unprofessional and I feel that it is racist, and you just made this fight a bit more personal.

“This man brought a box of bananas and watermelon to America to bring to my room and I found it racist, so I have something for you.”

Berninchyk and his team did not respond directly to Davis’ claim, in addition to suggesting that Davis is looking for a ax to get up to the fight. Berinchyk was soon asked if he thinks Davis was too inexperienced for a warrior like him.

“I have 350 fights and profits with amateurs,” Berinchyk explained. “I have over 500 victorious street fights and I have one bare fight, as well as the winning.”

It would be semens that Davis was a bit more lively, because it would have arisen from the heat to talk to Berinchyk from the close quarter, showing his face.

“Everything you are talking about, I don’t care. I don’t care. On Friday,” said Davis. “I don’t care about any of your experiences, amateur experience, I don’t care about your silver medal … I don’t care that I don’t care F-CK, Friday.”

“This is a naughty language, my brother,” answered Alex Krasyuk with a smile.

“If you have touched the lower part of your heart, train harder, work harder. It’s your time, tonight at this press conference. My time is Friday evening” – added Berinchyk.
